Yes, the point is that PSG doesn't have popular players, because basically, PSG players' popularity is clearly below that of teams like Barcelona or Real Madrid. So that's why PSG clearly seems like just an ordinary team, even though their team already contains extraordinary players in terms of their teamwork. Because basically, that's what I think is most important in a team to be great. Because having famous players won't be a good thing if they can't work together well on the field.
It is true but in these two seasons they have been used to matching what Barcelona and Real Madrid have done so that in these two seasons they have always been consistent in playing every match so it is natural that they managed to win the UCL title because they always did it with full confidence especially since they had several star players at that time but they also always failed to win the UCL title so that with their departure it became an example that must be seen by other teams where the club is bigger than the players and cannot prioritize players over the team because this has happened in one of the teams that prefers and listens to what the players say which in the end the team did not succeed in winning the title at all and I really like what the team coached by Luis Enrique did. So that's why Madrid or Barcelona are willing to not become champions in the Champions League this season, it's because their teamwork isn't as compact as PSG's players, that's why the two big teams lost to PSG. So,, the point is, PSG is indeed a very great team at the moment, it's just that the popularity of its players is not as flashy as players from other top European teams. So, that's why we shouldn't be fooled by the popularity of the players alone,, because that doesn't determine whether the team they support can become champions in a competition like the Champions League.
Clearly, this is because they are currently not very competitive in maintaining their cohesion. In fact Real Madrid itself is experiencing something unusual within their squad with disputes between players and between players and the coach resulting in inconsistent results in both La Liga and the UCL. Incidents like this are beneficial for PSG because they always maintain unity in all lines both coaches and players or players with players meaning that in their squad there are never any players who think about individuals and more towards the collective so that the results they have achieved are very optimal in the past two years and this is inseparable from what was implemented by their coach who previously also maintained this unity when he was still the coach of Barcelona and for me and also all parties currently recognize the greatness that Luis Enrique has.

At first I was enjoying how Arsenal made their defense tight for Paris Saint Germain because PSG found it difficult to break through. But immediately PSG got the equaliser goal, the match wasn't tough again because Paris Saint Germain were in the better side, they controlled all the possession in the game. As PSG started dominating Arsenal that is when I realized Arsenal mistakes for defending one goal lead from the early minutes, they should have net two goals first before defending.
After Kai Havertz's early goal, Arsenal began to adopt a defensive strategy, allowing PSG to dominate even more. However, Arsenal's solid defense made it difficult for PSG to break down their defense. Fortunately, the referee awarded a penalty to PSG, which allowed them to equalize, although no further goals were scored until the end of the match. Arteta's mistake in trying to defend completely made their game ineffective and I think Arsenal should have played more openly at that time. This is an important lesson for Arteta, even though their Champions League performance wasn't bad, as they lost on penalties.

If Vinicius want to leave Madrid they have start looking for a striker that will replace him but nothing as change in the information.
Next season, Real Madrid will be led by a new coach, so Real Madrid fans can expect a decent amount of change. Moreover, from some reports I've seen, Real Madrid will also be bringing in new faces to their squad, making it easier for the coach to manage everything properly. Because during the last two seasons, Mbappe, Vinicius, and Bellingham did not have a big impact on the team so they need to be managed differently in the next season and their egos must be put aside if they want to win a trophy or two in the next season.

They've used the defensive strategy to win the league and it worked for them in the Champions League competition against sides like Atletico Madrid. The penalty was the clear difference which gave PSG an upper hand but yet, they couldn't create a good chance against Arsenal. It shows how Arsenal have grown-up in the backline. I honestly wanted them to win it, almost every big side in the Premier League Competition can boast of having the Champions League competition expect them.

In the first half PSG controlled possession, then switched plans in the second half, by taking over transitional control, Enrique switched plans with Hakimi, Vitinha, and Kvaratskhelia, their game plann changed so quickly that Arsenal players began to question the right decision to take, Rice was confused over what he'd do about Kvaratskhelia narrowed interior positioning, Gabriel on the other hand had no option but to question Hakimi's aggressive advancement during the build up phase, Dembele then played a game that abandoned fixed central occupation, doubling the thoughts of Gabriel whether or not he should follow him deeper. These individual confusion didn't dismantle the Arsenal defensive plan completely, but with the little adjustments and space created, as its regards, in the backline, Enrique goal was achieved, PSG's second goal was not luck at all, it was inevitable, Enrique had his boys place confusion on individual Arsenal players which created that opportunity.

Have you seen the Champions League final match where Arsenal clearly played badly and they did not have an attacking strategy. They were attacking at the beginning but after scoring a goal in the 6th minute of the match they adopted a defensive strategy. Look at the summary of the final match where Arsenal had only 5 shots on goal in the whole match but only one of them was on target which is a surprise. PSG were attacking from the start of the match and the players had the confidence to win the match. PSG had about 73 percent of the ball possession in the whole match and they had 19 shots on goal out of which they were able to put 4 on target. From the match statistics you can easily guess which team deserved to win. Arsenal have performed great and were consistent throughout the season and in fact played better than PSG but their performance in the final match was not good and they did not deserve to win the trophy. Penalty is a lucky draw but winning or losing a match depends a lot on luck.

Arsenal was unable to out beat PSG's territorial control, Enrique trapped the Arsenal players psychologically, therefore making them fail in transitional play, despite being among the best in Europe when it comes to transitioning, Saka and Martinelli played more defensively, than oppressive game, Rice suffered most in the defensive labor of his team mates, he covered both the central compactness and wide defensive range to support in catching up with the PSG's modern transitional football. Enrique studied Arsenal in the first half, then launched a superb strategical play in the second half. The Arsenal side suffered so much suppression in the second half.

Both Enrique and Arteta succeeded in their match strategy in this match. Arteta created a defensive strategy. His target was to finish the match 1-0. But it was very difficult against a team like PSG. Even then, they only conceded one goal in the entire match. PSG even scored their only goal from the penalty spot. PSG could not score any goal in 30 minutes of extra time. PSG players dominated the match. Created a lot of chances. They also attacked a lot. Still, they could not break Arsenal's defense. This is the success of Arteta's match strategy. If Arsenal played attacking strategy, the match would have been more competitive. And we could have seen many goals too.

Real Madrid is not as terrible as people make it look and Álvaro Arbeloa has never been the issue of the club as an interim head coach IMO, though being an interim, his removal is justified. But the same way you said changes will happen after him was what people said after Ancelotti, and then Xabi Alonso, whose mark was visibly imprinted in Leverkusen, before bringing him in. But people said he was too young, that that's why the players could not be handled. But has anything changed after? Let them bring in another experienced and older coach and see if the issue would stop. For me, it will not stop. The issue is resident than thought, and it's among the players. Such is difficult to curtail unless most big names are sent off and replaced with others.

Since the winner was decided by a penalty shootout, it could be said that luck played a role. Arsenal’s defense in the 2025/2026 season was exceptionally solid, led by Gabriel and Saliba. These two center backs helped make Arsenal the team with the fewest goals conceded compared to other teams in the Premier League. In the Champions League, Arsenal also had a very solid defense, conceding a remarkably low number of goals in all the matches they played leading up to the final. In the final, Arsenal’s defensive statistics dominated PSG’s with 18 successful tackles, 36 clearances, and 3 goalkeeper saves.

This was one of Arsenal's mistakes which gave PSG space. After Arsenal managed to score through Kai Havertz's powerful shot PSG immediately switched to an attacking strategy. In my opinion Arsenal didn't need to play defensively because PSG dominated possession from the first minute but they also observed Arsenal's play. PSG's goal was to see Arsenal's game plan first so they ultimately understood Arteta's team's game plan and then began attacking Arsenal.
On the other hand Arsenal's defense was also quite good in that match because PSG's victory had to be decided by a penalty shootout. This meant that neither Arsenal nor PSG had the time to score an additional goal. In my opinion PSG's victory was simply a stroke of luck as a penalty shootout is a different matter. What we need to emphasize is that in that final both teams were taking their time so it was natural for them to go to a penalty shootout.
Enrique clever positioning left Arsenal defense disoriented in defending their own half. This confusion brought an individual gap which gave PSG fatal chance to shred the backline of the opposition. I believe that the skill of the coach to take advantage of the hesitation of the opponent was outstanding. Their second objective was to show clearly their tactical superiority that they had been planning. That was the same thing he used against inter Milan in their final that inter Milan could not do anything even with their strong defense, Enrique players was able to break the defense line and score them like it was very easy to score and honestly that final was not interesting though Arsenal's was not interesting as well because only Paris Saint Germain was playing but it was better than that of Paris Saint Germain and inter Milan. It was the second half some Paris Saint Germain went off the pitch Arsenal started trying to create something...

Now I wonder if they can match the confidence they had when they've got plenty of Star players and now there less of them, like which confidence was more stronger, to me if not that they have won the UEFA Champions League twice now I'd say the confidence then is high above the ones they are having now, because no team will have such dangerous attacks and won't expect to win the UEFA Champions League even more than twice, but they all failed them, Messi is the one that baffles me the most by scoring just six goals in a full season, it was very disappointing.

The way you guys are over praising Paris St Germain and Luis Enrique at the final even as they couldn’t penetrate Arsenal, with all their attack they couldn’t score from open play and you’re hyping them up. Luis Enrique is good for how he’s transformed PSG to play but he only won the final because he was lucky and obviously had the better team. A lot of accolades should be given to Arsenal for how they played, I know even Chelsea who brag about winning two UCL titles today did so playing defensively especially in the finals.

Nobody is praising Enrique for nothing, if you watch the analysis behind football, you'd understand how far Enrique outsmarted Arteta in the pitch, it's not about the things you see, the game is hidden beneath eyes that understands strategies, transition, spacing, and territorial control.

Enrique deserves praise. He has made PSG the best team in the world. Winning two consecutive Champions League titles was undoubtedly a very difficult task. Probably no one else could have done it except Madrid. More importantly, he brought PSG their first Champions League in their club history. This is undoubtedly his greatest achievement. PSG had blown away Inter Milan by a huge margin of 5-0 in the previous Champions League final. In this final too, PSG dominated the entire match against Arsenal. Although the match ended in a penalty shootout. But we have to admit that PSG controlled the match and Enrique's tactics were undoubtedly better than Arteta's.

The way Real Madrid fans and staffs really like Vinicius I don’t think they can leave him to another team that will be very difficult. And I think Perez as even said it before that mbappe, Vinicius and Bellingham are untouchable in the club so talking about Vinicius going to Arsenal I don’t think that can happen easily but anything can be possible but for now Vinicius jr will probably renew is contract with the club.
Real Madrid have already signed Bernardo Silva, and today it was announced that Chelsea's Marc Cucurella is also making the move to Madrid. The club will likely bring in more reinforcements and offload some players, but either way, Mourinho has a massive job on his hands to sort out Real's game. I don't expect a successful Champions League run from Madrid, as I'm still not convinced the team will click under the new manager. If Mourinho can guide them to the La Liga title, that alone would make his tenure a success.

In your logic, Arsenal also don't deserve to be praised then. Because of scoring from set pieces the most instead of open play. Football is a game of strategies. Arsenal were the team with the strongest defense this year in the CL. This is why PSG had difficulty in playing their usual game all match long... But they still eliminated even the best defense and became the champions.

The all defense mechanism cannot always work against some one like Enrique, Arsenal has this advantage that their defence has built the solid form over some time that PSG could not just penetrate like they did against Inter, it was obvious they were very hard on Arsenal's defence and could have gotten true but it was their first time against Arsenal and I believe if they should meet again, it will definitely not be same.
