It will be hard for PSG to see such opportunity on their next champion league tournament, because Bayern Munich and other clubs in the champion league will not allow such luck to happen for the favour of PSG. I know PSG did well this season to lifted this champion league trophy to make their coach and players celebrated well, because there was a lot of prediction that came up that PSG will loose in the final stage but they did well to ensure they lead the final stage to penalty shootout to enable them to beat their opponent to secured the trophy which was their players wish.
If other teams don’t work hard, then PSG might still end up winning the champions league by next season. When the season started, I didn’t believe PSG will win the champions league, and they ended up surprising me. But when PSG got to the final, I knew they just going to win the champions league which is making it 2 champions league in a row.

Let’s see how every team is going to perform by next season, am sure other teams will want to stop them from winning the champions league by next season, but PSG is just a dangerous team, and I don’t even think their performance is going to drop anytime soon.

Arsenal, lol. In 2006 they scored first against Barcelona in the first half and fans were already celebrating forgetting there's second half and boom they didn't win the competition. Fast forward to 20 years later, they enter their second ever finals, they scored first half again, the fans went gaga and started celebrating again, boom they lost the trophy once again for the second time in a row, with this same pattern, Arsenal fans will have to wait till 2046 before they will witness another champions league finals. They still remain the only team to be unbeaten without winning the trophy, they have their own personal record of also becoming the team to play the most matches in the competition without winning it.
But that is still a good record any way, and one thing I will say here is that even your self can see it that Arsenal is getting better, they are getting better in every area. For the first time in 22 years, we won the premier league and this is something to be proud of, it shows clearly that the team is working hard and that what ever trophy we need to win will definitely and surely come, it will only take some time and little effort.

After a child is born, he or she doesn't just wake up one morning and start to walk, run and jump, it take days, weeks and months of practice before the child can even stand without holding onto any thing, and from there, he or she can begin to learn to take their first steps and thats it.. Arsenal is coming, we will win the champions league and it won't be far from now, and I can assure you that it won't take even 2 or 3 seasons now without Arsenal playing in the finals again and possibly winning.
I like your believe in your team though but what if this child doesn't walk even in the next 20 years? Personally, I still think Arsenal got lucky, I'm not going to use some of the refs negligence in some games as an excuse after all every team in one way or the other gets favoured. Arsenal got lucky in my opinion in the sense that they would have closed and win the league long before they officially won it, if you get what I mean. An inform City would have done to Arsenal exactly what they did to them 3 years ago but it's not that same City this season and that's the luck Arsenal had. I put it to you that in the next 3 years, Arsenal will not see the final to play let alone winning it, it's like you didn't really watch your team play from Quarter finals, because if this is the best Arsenal team in the last 22 years, then you guys still have a lot to do. Funny enough, no team will wait for you to start correcting your mistakes without making you make more mistakes alo g the line. Other teams will be prepared as well.

Mbappe has been trolled on the internet a lot since PSG won the champions league for the second time in a row. I’m hoping Mourinho will be able to get Mbappe his first UCL with Madrid. Mourinho has a track record at Real Madrid, he made Ronaldo and Benzema more lethal in the attack, and I believe he could do the same for Mbappe.
It’s surely going to be so difficult being Mbappe right now. To have left PSG under the conditions he did, becoming very unruly in his last days and the paycheck he was getting, even influencing decisions on other players playing time at the club, then he leaves PSG to try and win the UCL with Real Madrid after several failed attempts at PSG.
Immediately he left PSG, Dembele comes up and starts performing, alongside Hakimi, Nuno and Kvaratskelia and the team has got 2 UCL title to their name, of course Mbappe would be trolled a lot and he would be deeply disturbed about it, he needs this trophy.
In my opinion, it makes zero sense blaming Mbappe for PSG failures in the past, making it seem like Mbappe was the problem. Football is not a one man sport, Mbappe carried the team for as long as he could but the other players were underperforming. If we are being honest, after he left the club, PSG spent a fortune in the transfer market for them to get to this level.
I agree with you. Mbappe has built a strong team during his time at PSG which they are enjoying today. Young players at a club can learn a lot from skilled players and be inspired by them. It would not be fair to blame him here. Mbappe has certainly performed at his personal best and scored goals, as he is doing at Real Madrid. If he now leaves Real Madrid for another club and Real wins trophies next season he should not be blamed because the overall performance of the team is not good.

I don't understand what you meant by Mbappe has build a strong team in Paris Saint Germain, if he did build a strong team why didn't they win the champions league in his time or period of staying in Paris Saint Germain? Dude sometimes a person can deprived the whole association or organization and opportunity or blessings and I think that was what Mbappe did to Paris Saint Germain he was like a barrier to Paris Saint Germain, check Paris Saint Germain achievements immediately Mbappe left.

I wouldn’t say Mbappé was a barrier preventing PSG from winning the Champions League. PSG consistently made deep runs in the knockout stages, reaching both the final and the semi-finals. They just lacked that little bit of edge to go all the way, and that's not something you can pin on a single player. Besides, PSG have been dominating Ligue 1 for years, which shows the club is in great shape, so there's no way Mbappé alone was holding the team back from achieving success.

Wow, you lasted a couple of days before making a thread about the next season?  Cheesy Wink

Ousmane Dembele said they are going for the 3rd one next season, I know that PSG are the best team in the world right now but I don’t believe or think they will lift the champions league title next season, they lifted the champions league this season by luck, and the reason why I said they won by luck was because penalty is a game of luck and they won the champions league by penalty, next season any team that will meet them in the final will win them that’s if they will even make it to the final again next season.

Does Dembélé think he'll be signed by Real Madrid? Real Madrid will win the Champions League next season, it's simple math.
As for Dembele, this season he is not at all the same as last season, I wouldn’t make any big statements if I were him. It's too early to talk about next season as this one isn't over yet and the main event is ahead - the World Cup, but I wouldn't consider PSG as the main favourite next year, they'll probably be third after Real Madrid and Bayern. And that's mainly because they can pull off tricks with rescheduling Ligue 1 games.
Hahahaha….. what Dembele said is just banter and hype for his team. It’s not an easy feat so he has to milk it as much as possible. Everyone thought he’ll never make it and imagine he’s won the champions league and the Ballon D’or before Kylian Mbappe who left PSG for Real Madrid.

What math suggests that Real Madrid will win the next champions league, I’ll like to know that one specifically.
One can Say Ousmane Dembele have had the better career than Kylian Mbappe.
Very mad Realisation!.

The thing is that PSG pattern of gameplay haven't really understood by most of the teams in the competition. There are so many things that would change if their style of play is later understood because for now PSG are the raining team just like the way other teams like Real Madrid and also Barcelona have had their fair share of spell in the European stage. At some point everyone and every club will get a hang of their style and things won't be this easy anymore.

I’m curious to see how Maresca will set Manchester City up and whether Haaland will manage to remain the devastating striker he proved himself to be under Guardiola game style. He certainly needs to implement a style of play that encourages plenty of crosses for the Norwegian. In my view, Cherki will play a key role in Maresca’s system, just as Palmer did when he was at Chelsea.
Haaland remains the striker he is, whether Pep is in charge of the team or Maresca because Haaland has already built himself to that level. He will continue to score more goals but it might not be as consistent as before because you cannot be in your best form all the time. Recently, before the end of the league, he hardly score goals like before which is what I'm talking about. However, if he's in his best form, banging the net is a norm for him.

Haaland is now 25 and you bring up that he can't perform on the same level all the time. If usually a player reaches his peak, what do you think how old those players on average are? Wink I think 25 and a few years after that is the time when players mostly peak and Haaland still has potential to improve.
I am not talking about his age because he is still very young to keep up with his pace but what I mean that he cannot be on his peak performance always is because he can be injured and that can affect his performance when he's back. There are other factors that can make a player decline in performance in a particular period of time which you know that. Look at Neymar, injury has made him decline in performance a lot.

Yes, that is true, but Neymar has forever been far more susceptible to injuries. He was injured all the time or he had other reasons that were supposed to serve why he can't play. It was the same all the time, injury injury. Haaland isn't the same. Haaland is a beast, but only if he is benefiting from the tailored setup. H can't play everything, he is an attacker who wants the deep room. Sprint.

Rumour has it that Haaland might be signing for Real Madrid this summer. It’s a long stretch because I don’t see Real Madrid trading Vinicius or Mbappe for Haaland. Notwithstanding I think Manchester City players must have realised that it’s going to be difficult days ahead without Pep and Kevin De Bruyne making the play, Haaland goal numbers will certainly reduce.

This depends more on the tactics of the team's coach, so the pattern can change over time, and even within a single season, they can employ different tactics several times. This is done to make it difficult for opponents to predict their movements when PSG attacks the opponent's goal. On the other hand, other teams also tend to change tactics less frequently when the old method is still considered the best option for defeating opponents in a major competition like the Champions League.

Funny thing is that Man City his the only team that can keep Haaland, especially with the quality of squad they have now. But honestly looking at Man City and Haaland, I don't feel Haaland needs a Maestro like KDB to score all his goals, even without Pep, Haaland is still going to find a way to put up numbers, although it wouldn't be as much but it would still look good

I agree with this point,  a team who were able to win the title through the season cannot  just be assumed as been lucky alone like they did not put in some really good work to have gotten there, in a very competitive league like the champions league or the Premier League, it will take some really seriously commitments and consistency to even get to the finals like in the champions league, so it is not just luck but work and effort from the team against others who did wished to have won like they did.

Mbappe has nothing to do with the team’s performance and if they didn’t get to win the champions league competition with him, that was because the luck was not on their side and everyone in the team is to be blamed and not only pointing fingers on Mbappe. They have never been a time in the competition while Mbappe was still playing for PSG did he had the chance to qualify their team and failed to do so. I just feel it’s not their time to have won it that’s why they failed to win it.
People  will alway want to point fingers at kylian mbappe for some reasons and you can't blame them if they do, the team was relying  on him as dey build the team around  him and if he eventually  doesn't  have a good game they are most time not productive. Him leaving  paved way for other and the new management  was ready  to spread the grace among  all player there by no player is given any special  treatment. Mbappe is Tallentes no doubt  but his presence  at PSG is one of the reason  ne struggle  to win the champions  league  those time if you look at the teams winning  it are always a team the collectively  work together  and not a team that pin point some player to do the job, You can think anything  though  that my view.

Mbappe is Tallentes no doubt  but his presence  at PSG is one of the reason  ne struggle  to win the champions  league  those time if you look at the teams winning  it are always a team the collectively  work together  and not a team that pin point some player to do the job, You can think anything  though  that my view.

Am  no Kylian Mbappe fan but one thing I can never sat is Kylian Mabppe is talentless, PSG winning the Champions League doesn't mean all the problem of the team before was Mbappé's fault. Facts is that we can't diminish Mbappes performance in PSG, too bad he didn't fit the style of Luis Enrique vision of PSG and that was the problem for Mbappe

The question is which team will stop them from winning the Champions League trophy next season because as other teams are signing players to improve their team, PSG won't fold their hands to that without doing the same. They will get their team prepared for that, to win their league trophy and also come top of the Champions League. If luck should find them, they will lift the Champions League trophy for the third time in a row, joining Real Madrid to make such history.

Funny thing is that Man City his the only team that can keep Haaland, especially with the quality of squad they have now. But honestly looking at Man City and Haaland, I don't feel Haaland needs a Maestro like KDB to score all his goals, even without Pep, Haaland is still going to find a way to put up numbers, although it wouldn't be as much but it would still look good
I doubt it. Haaland is a 10/10 finisher but he needs someone in the midfield that can make the runs and supply him balls. Kevin De Bruyne was directly or indirectly responsible for a huge number of goals Haaland scored in the last couple of seasons. Don’t forget that Marmoush and Cherki are competing for goals as well.

Haaland would do well in Madrid with a 4-3-3 formation, Vinicius, and Mbappe by his side, an opportunity he'd not misuse, however, it's all rumor, playing in city next season will require him to change his kind of play, he should become the hustler, not just a finisher. That way City will still make more chances of winning, in the next season.

Once Real Madrid can sign more creative midfielders, Haaland can also be a best fit striker for the squad, if they have Mbappe and another winger from the other position, they will perform really well and will become the most dangerous attack in the world, but is Manchester City willing to let him leave the team?

Real Madrid is trying to buy all the best players in the world because of their influence, but I think some teams can’t allow that to happen because side they also value their players as football is all about investment now.

Erling Haaland's style of football will make it difficult for him to adapt to Real Madrid's playing pattern. He's a sharp and lethal striker, no doubt but he is more prolific when he's getting all the passes in the final third. Real Madrid style of play forces you as a striker to sit deep sometimes, create chances with your moves and score. Haaland doesn't move that way, he just wants to collect the ball and hit it home, that's why I don't think he'll succeed as a Madrid player.

Coupled with the selfish play between Mbappe and Vinicious, Haaland will have a hard time there, but with the right collaboration, which is almost impossible those two can't be doing the dirty jobs for Haaland like Semenyo do for him in city, Haaland will make more goals in a set up that allows Mbappe to swallow his pride and ego and pass games for him to finish, he hardly miss his super kicks.
