However for 2 years things haven't been going in favour of them... Can Mourinho win a CL trophy for them? In his previous management period here he couldn't do that.

Arsenal have more time to improve now that the World Cup is on, the club and the coach have plenty of time to study what to improve, even if this season they have nothing to complain about, just a bit of bad luck at the end, nothing special, they can only hope for the coming year which will be full of challenges.

Yes, you are right and I agree with you on this point. Two seasons in a row without a title for a big team like Real Madrid is really disappointing and it may put pressure on their financial situation. But hopefully next season we can see a new Real Madrid. Maybe the arguments we have seen among the players will be completely overcome and every player in the team will start playing for the team. Maybe we can see some changes in the midfield and some changes in other places to make the team stronger.

I would say Arsenal must be happy with the way season ended. Yes that last penalty UCL title loss was bad, there is no denying that. But if you look at it on paper, they won the premier league after 22 years, that is a huge deal and should be something to celebrate for them.

Maybe they are not fully happy because of UCL, but if they lost at quarter finals of UCL and won premier league, I guarantee you that they would be more happy than right now. I'm not expecting a Champions League title from Mourinho next season honestly. I don't see him as a manager who updates himself for today's football completely.

Maybe he can reach quarter or semi finals but even about the finale I have doubts. It depends on the draw too of course... Mourinho is a traditional manager so he wouldn't like to change some main things in his system.

Real Madrid need to do everything possible to achieve a trophy even is not champion league, they will do everything possible to have the opportunity to win a title because two seasons know they don’t have any good trophies and that is the reason why Mourinho is doing everything possible to get all the quality players in the club and achieve a trophy for next season. When they are leading by one goal they should have not defence yet because they games was just started they need to try and strike and secure the goal and add one more but they just have one goal they just focus on defending and that makes them perform poor and fail to win in a penalty shootout. I think he should have learn is mistakes and he will change is pattern of playing for next season. There is a dilemma there, and not entirely sure if it's as simple as people think, it's a lot more complex than that. The point is, sure if they do get better, they may end up winning it this time, nobody can question that, depending on how good transfers they make and how much better they get.

However, they did not faced Bayern, Real, City, and other good teams like that on their way to finals last season, this season they may not have the games they have and may face teams that are much more difficult to beat. So in theory, if they do not get better, they may not even reach finals.

Real Madrid also deserve to take some break so that others could take the trophies, maybe they are just tired over the time and you wanted others to also come in and make history before they resume back 

Every team will not be having same result as well over time without making it up to the peak of their achievements by winning their matches and as well get in the trophy at last, honestly when it comes to major leagues, we know how Real Madrid has been making history over the years, and I don't think anything will also change than for them to have a little we adjustment in their strategy and perform better as before.

PSG is still by far the best team to play here, and while I understand the questions about them already having two may cause them not play that well, they are still the better team. So if they just force themselves to win for like 5 games total max, they could still be the UCL winners, because nobody else is as good as them.

This of course depends on the transfer window and how teams fit, because if any team does great transfers and suddenly start playing great, then we may see a rival for them, but I am talking about right now, at this moment. I agree. It's never easy to play under such a tight schedule. In years with Euro and World Cup competitions things get much more difficult for players.
