What are your predictions on Real Madrid in the CL next season? They normally have a huge domination in the history of this tournament as you know. 15 trophies! However for 2 years things haven't been going in favour of them... Can Mourinho win a CL trophy for them? In his previous management period here he couldn't do that. He stayed for 3 years and qualified for the semi finals in all those years. Next season is a challenge that Madrid must accept because it is enough for them 2 seasons without trophies so there is no other choice for next season to be able to win titles both domestic and UCL titles. For a club as big as Madrid, ending the season without a trophy is already a setback, so it's no wonder that in this transfer window Perez showed his fangs hunting for quality players in order to get Madrid back on track.

The real question is: who will be able to afford to sign someone like Vinícius Júnior? Whilst his wages might not be an issue for some teams, such as Paris Saint Germain, Manchester City and even Bayern Munich or Manchester United, the real crux of the matter is the transfer fee. A player of this calibre and with such an impact will cost at least 180 million if the club is willing to let him go.
Arsenal now has money to sign any player of their choice, but why will Real Madrid sell him, even with Mbappe in the club. It will be Real Madrid loss if they sell Vinicius, which i don't think the club is willing to sell him. Real Madrid are up against their utmost rival, Barcelona signed a deadly winger, Real Madrid have the opportunity of having the best two wingers, why the need to sell one, it's worthless paying attention to such rumors. You even just said reason why they should even sell Vinicius Junior because, actually I'm not seeing the cooperative work between these two players and it's even a waste of money keeping both players if they're not yielding the desired result both of them are fighting for who will be more recognized in the team than the other, and you as know two captains cannot captain one ship. It was like Benzema and Ronaldo, we all saw Benzema in full action when Ronaldo was sold out.

A smaller team cannot pull storm in the Champions League because it's for the big clubs. Most times, it's big clubs in their various leagues that do win the title and not small teams. If you have observed this competition for long, you will see it that it's only the big names that do win it because they have the quality and pace till the end
Yes you're right, I don't think that a team that is not up to the task in their league has ever win the champions League perhaps I'm not right but I will want to know if such has ever happened, of course the UEFA champions this for the big boy to win I don't think anyone will want to start any argument on that, the UEFA champions League is really for the champions, many teams qualify, some smaller teams will even want shake the superior ones at some point but it ends in nothing at the right time as the competition continues, it has always been the big boys at the finals which will eventually favour one of them.

If they can maintain their top form by recruiting several additional players in the current transfer window, it's not impossible that Arsenal can achieve even better results in the Champions League. Arsenal's performance last season actually improved, but they were unlucky, losing on penalties. Arteta needs to improve the team's mentality so Arsenal can be better prepared to face the intense pressure they experienced in last season's Champions League final. After winning the Premier League, I'm sure the team's mentality will be much better and we hope Arsenal can achieve even better results next season.
Arsenal played a very solid final, conceding very little to Paris Saint-Germain for 120 minutes, but Arsenal showed they have the quality to compete at the highest European levels, but to make the definitive leap, some fundamental things are needed, clearly a world-class striker capable of unlocking difficult matches.

If they want to continue to perform like this season, then they have to keep most of their key players and also bring in players who are able to perform better, especially for their midfielders, they still need effective players on this side, and from what I see that they are targeting Morgan Rogers and that is a pretty good player to fill that position. so Arteta needs to pay attention to what things are still his team's weaknesses at the moment so as not to be left behind in the competition, because other teams have gone all out to recruit players to be able to compete better for the next season.
Morgan Rogers would help a lot, but I insist that they need a better striker. Because they got Gyokeres last summer, they are not going to get anyone else and will hope that he gets better and starts scoring a lot more. But I find that a wrong move, Jesus is aging, and Gyokeres isn't getting younger neither, and these players are at their peak, if this is their peak, they need someone better. If they decide not to get any strikers, I am afraid that UCL is not a possibility for them at all.

Arsenal have more time to improve now that the World Cup is on, the club and the coach have plenty of time to study what to improve, even if this season they have nothing to complain about, just a bit of bad luck at the end, nothing special, they can only hope for the coming year which will be full of challenges.

Yes, you are right and I agree with you on this point. Two seasons in a row without a title for a big team like Real Madrid is really disappointing and it may put pressure on their financial situation. But hopefully next season we can see a new Real Madrid. Maybe the arguments we have seen among the players will be completely overcome and every player in the team will start playing for the team. Maybe we can see some changes in the midfield and some changes in other places to make the team stronger.

I would say Arsenal must be happy with the way season ended. Yes that last penalty UCL title loss was bad, there is no denying that. But if you look at it on paper, they won the premier league after 22 years, that is a huge deal and should be something to celebrate for them.
Maybe they are not fully happy because of UCL, but if they lost at quarter finals of UCL and won premier league, I guarantee you that they would be more happy than right now. Only reason they do not look happy was because if they scored one more penalty and PSG missed one more, they could have both EPL and UCL together, in reality, premier league should be enough to be happy about and not really something that they need to worry about for UCL.
in fact what is most important is that they finally won a championship after such a long time and this should make them rejoice more than anyone else, i don't see the defeat from the Champions League final as such a serious thing, they tried after all, they entered as a non-favourite team and still reached the final.

It is a fact that Arsenal did not win this league through brilliance, but people forget that. They won it by being deeply, almost impressively cynical. Corner after corner after corner. Suffocate the game early. Let Jover's set piece routines work for you. It worked. But it's not the kind of thing you can do again without evolution.
And the bodies are breaking down. Rice said that he has had nerve pain for six months. Saka is struggling to come off the bench at the World Cup. Timber pulled out of the Netherlands squad entirely. The club even sacked their own doctor DAYS after winning the title.
People see next season like it's just a continuation. Arteta knows it's not, though. The Kroenkes don't celebrate anymore. They are already planning further steps. It was just kind of embarrassing when you take away the "we made it to the final!" thing for the Champions League final against PSG. Two hours of football and only one shot on goal? Against anyone?
"Business as usual" is how you get the 37-point drop Chelsea had after 2015. The hunger changes when you've already eaten. This is all the evidence we have over the past 10 years. I hope I'm mistaken, though. Genuinely.
No one ever wins through brilliance, in gaming, in life or in business. You win through stubbornness, through perseverance, through creating and building, brick by brick, a structure that can support you while you stand up. There are no other alternatives.

I'm not expecting a Champions League title from Mourinho next season honestly. I don't see him as a manager who updates himself for today's football completely. Maybe he can reach quarter or semi finals but even about the finale I have doubts. It depends on the draw too of course... Mourinho is a traditional manager so he wouldn't like to change some main things in his system.

Real Madrid need to do everything possible to achieve a trophy even is not champion league, they will do everything possible to have the opportunity to win a title because two seasons know they don’t have any good trophies and that is the reason why Mourinho is doing everything possible to get all the quality players in the club and achieve a trophy for next season. After the World Cup am sure Madrid will still sigh some good player that will make the team stronger. Let just watch how Madrid performance will be. With how Madrid sigh players this time if they fail to win a single trophy that will be a shameful season for them again.
Artete have do all is best to achieve the champions league trophy last season but he failed with some errors that happened in the pitch. When they are leading by one goal they should have not defence yet because they games was just started they need to try and strike and secure the goal and add one more but they just have one goal they just focus on defending and that makes them perform poor and fail to win in a penalty shootout. I think he should have learn is mistakes and he will change is pattern of playing for next season. Let just watch how next season games will goes they need to focus more in Champions League next season because that is want they really need in the club for now.

Hard work alone without brilliance is a waste of energy and time because is just like someone that is working hard without result. Working without brilliance it will be like channelling the right energy in the wrong direction. So talking about structure without brilliance is something that is definitely wrong. There is no coach no matter how hard working they maybe can't be able to win any trophy without a brilliant strategy.

But it's a different case for champions league I personally do not immediately expect them to win the champions league right away next season and their competitors are settled and good.

There is a dilemma there, and not entirely sure if it's as simple as people think, it's a lot more complex than that. The point is, sure if they do get better, they may end up winning it this time, nobody can question that, depending on how good transfers they make and how much better they get. However, they did not faced Bayern, Real, City, and other good teams like that on their way to finals last season, this season they may not have the games they have and may face teams that are much more difficult to beat. So in theory, if they do not get better, they may not even reach finals.

Yes, the biggest problem of the World Cup for the players has been the long journeys and competitions without enough rest. Fortunately, there is a long gap between the two group matches, giving them a chance to rest. However, the fatigue added to the players who had already competed for long periods in the Champions League and other European cups. Despite all this, the tournament is proceeding very enjoyably.
It's not about the breaks between games, because you have to give 200% on some day anyway (when the World Cup is at stake). This summer, vacations have been ruined for most top players. It's one thing to spend the summer relaxing and undergoing a physiotherapy program designed to restore health and strength after a tough season, and another to tear your guts out trying to win the World Cup. Considering that the workload within the season itself has also increased in recent years, I expect that the next season will again be rich in player injuries.

Real Madrid also deserve to take some break so that others could take the trophies, maybe they are just tired over the time and you wanted others to also come in and make history before they resume back Every team will not be having same result as well over time without making it up to the peak of their achievements by winning their matches and as well get in the trophy at last, honestly when it comes to major leagues, we know how Real Madrid has been making history over the years, and I don't think anything will also change than for them to have a little we adjustment in their strategy and perform better as before.

PSG is still by far the best team to play here, and while I understand the questions about them already having two may cause them not play that well, they are still the better team. So if they just force themselves to win for like 5 games total max, they could still be the UCL winners, because nobody else is as good as them.
This of course depends on the transfer window and how teams fit, because if any team does great transfers and suddenly start playing great, then we may see a rival for them, but I am talking about right now, at this moment. In three months everything could change, suddenly we may end up with something much better, but up until we see some changes from other teams, currently PSG is the best one.

One of the clubs I'm keenly waiting to watch in the CL is Como... Because man, I just admire Fabregas' system. He has built the best game plan he could with that player group in there. I don't want to call them a dark horse yet but still... It's not about the breaks between games, because you have to give 200% on some day anyway (when the World Cup is at stake). I agree. It's never easy to play under such a tight schedule. In years with Euro and World Cup competitions things get much more difficult for players. Especially top clubs competing in many competitions at the same time are likely to face serious injuries next season. For example Arteta is so familiar with this situation.
