Arsenal may not win the UCL this season as well, they had one shot, they got very close and if they won, that would be it, they were not really that much of a team that could win it normally. So if they are not that awesome, how did they reached finals and almost won it and only lost on the final penalty of the finals?

Because they faced very easy teams along the road, that's the reason. They faced simple teams that they did not have trouble with. Their road wasn't City and Real and Bayern and so forth until they faced PSG, their road was like Sporting Lisbon and so forth, simple teams and the biggest team they played against was Atletico Madrid, which they barely managed to beat. Hence, I do not think they will do good next season because they won't be as lucky.

There are series of mistakes most coaches makes at times and this mistake is holding on to a specific game pattern without having an alternative incase there is interruption on the process.
Arteta entered last season with an already existing system that most teams have started finding possible solutions to without any alternative and at last it became the reason behind his downfall,  if not for that understanding i don't think Arsenal would have lost any game last season because that setpiecs tactical display was one among its kind

They have to improve a lot because you can't hope to win a Champions League final with a single lucky goal. You need to have the chance to extend the lead or strike back when the opponent equalized the match. Since it is almost impossible to have an opponent like PSG not score a goal, you can be sure that you have to score twice at least to have a proper chance to win a final like that. Yes if they have a weaker opponent their, it could be enough, but that is giving your fate out of your hands. They need more striking power.

The team they were up against was in excellent form and their attack was sharp. Therefore,, even though Arsenal tried their best to defend, they ultimately found a gap and conceded. Therefore,, I also feel that Arteta, as Arsenal's manager, needs to be more flexible in designing Arsenal's strategy. Not every match requires a defensive strategy, especially in the final. It's a crucial match. So,, hopefully, this will be a valuable lesson for Arteta to make Arsenal an even better team next season.

The defensive strategy from Arsenal in this season quite successful the only one team in Champion League not defeating yet since phase league round until the final match, indeed playing with negative football but must applause tactical from Mikel Arteta success winning Premier League and reach the final round in Champion League without loss one match yet until final round at normal time.

PSG as usual games easily scoring until three or four goals every matches when facing Arsenal get difficulty how to destroy defensive games play from Arsenal indeed have conceded one goal. I think Arteta has understood the simple truth, that beautiful and attractive play does not win trophies.
Arsenal have been praised for their beautiful play for the last few years but have remained without trophies, each time they were second to Manchester City.
This season, Arteta and Arsenal have focused on the result, become pragmatic in the game, and adapted their style of play to the opponent.
Such a strategy finally brought them the English championship title and the Champions League final this season.

No doubt about that we expect them to do well next season and I trust they would if they don't sell out some of their first squad players.
So far no team we can be sure of that is in their level yet, although it might change when the starts because there are new coaches in the league now and they are all good coaches who can actually challenge Arteta for the title if all things go well for them as we all expect.
I'm pretty certain that not all of the new coaches will fail to perform, so either of them will definitely perform well and give Arteta a good fight for the trophy.

I'm in anticipation for the new season to come. It will be a very interesting and competitive season again in the premier league, we've missed seeing 2-3 teams challenge for the title and I'm pretty sure with the new coaches appointed we might see such happen again.

Next season will be a different ball game entirely, and Arsenal might find it difficult to reach the finals because most big clubs are working tirelessly to strengthen their team by buying new players and sell off the weak ones. This past season has been Arsenal's best and I don't think that they will get a better season than this again.

Next season, that defensive style will be very easy for every opponent to read, so Arsenal will need a different style of play if they want to win the Champions League. Because in the Champions League, defense alone won't be enough; there must also be more lethal attacks so that all Arsenal's opponents will be on high alert when facing Arsenal. And I'm not sure Arsenal will be able to repeat last season's success next season with that style of play, because any opponent will surely find a way to slaughter them.

It's not that nice having a single pattern as a team because this can make other teams "to see you finish" meaning knowing you to your finger tip which is actually a disadvantage and a red flag to any team that actually work with such strategy. Arsenal really need to step up their game a bit and  improve more on this very aspect because they can't be battle with this to this point. However, if their is need for them to sign new attackers at least to get things fix up then they shouldn't hesitate in doing that because they really need to put things in order before the league kick off.
