Believe me, Arsenal's problems is not their attack, they have quality players that can deliver a quality attack. Their problem lies in their midfield. They need to acquire one or two holding midfielders in the likes of Vitinha, Pedri, Rodri. Their greatest weakness is from their midfield. If they get it right, Their midfield would not be easily overrun and they keep defending all the time. With a good central midfielder that is energetic and not like Eze who is easily exhausted would really boost the team.

Another fault is their one pattern of play, Arterta should be more creative so that performance doesn't become stalled as soon as the opposing team masters their singular play pattern.

I'm very skeptical about his fate next season, maybe I'm wrong and he will have a spectacular season.

Arsenal are now in form and they have a high chance of performing better than they did last season only if they can work on their attack. I think they need to get at least four new attackers. Manchester city on the other hand might also do well but it is not certain that they will due to the recent changes in the club.

There are potential clubs in this champion league that are stronger than Arsenal, because what happened this season that made Arsenal to reach final to challenge PSG before they lose I don't think it will happen in the next season. Indeed Arsenal did well to lifted premier league trophy and also to reach final stage to try their best but they couldn't beat PSG to win big trophy from champion league tournament.

I don't think anything is wrong with Manchester city last season despite they did not win premier league trophy and champion league trophy, because they maintain a good position in the premier league and champion league before they where eliminated from champion league tournament.

I don't want to give Carrick a huge accolade yet as he literally came to the Man United squad at the point where alot of managers had already played alot of there cards and plus some of this top managers where triple tasking there teams in the Champions League, PL and also the domestic cup whereas the Man United squad where solely focus on the PL. I think this next season is the time for him to prove his worth.

I agree with you,  in as much as we are not disputing that Carrick has been a good coach since he arrived Old Trafford,  we also need to understand  that last season is not same as this season, and so we may have to wait for this season  to start before further expressing satisfaction with Carricks performance. This season is going  to be even more tight with fixtures for the team than last season,  and that is going to test them on different levels.

Next season could be better than last season or vice versa, it all depends on the development of the players Carrick trusts. The Manchester United squad has almost shown good cooperation they just need a sharp, goal-hungry striker. Cuncha, Mbeumo, Sesko, and Amad have not shown the expected sharpness. Also, in the Champions League next season, Manchester United are unlikely to go far easily.

You guys should chill with the Man city and Arsenal UCL winning chatter. I like arsenal and sometimes city because they made me money from time to time last season but both of those teams have their own issues which I think will hinder them.

• Man City is undergoing a huge transition. Losing Pep was not a job and they would need sometime to adjust to the new tactics,coaching style, etc and all of that is going to time. It might be fast results like we had with Arrne slot in his debut season at Liverpool. I don't think Enzo is that guy.
• Arsenal plays more defense than offense forgetting that teams that win are teams that outscore their opponents.

I, and i honestly think most, think Arsenal could win the Premier League again. The Champions League is too difficult to predict, the teams are all very strong and motivated, and we counted the teams that were at a standstill a year ago.

Teams that in the meantime make purchases and strengthen themselves.

Arsenal did very well last season and that was why they were able to lift the premier league trophy and also reach the champions league final, I totally agree with you that Arsenal needs to get at least 4 attackers because the only problem they were having was on their attack so if they can get very good attacking players then they will be more in form next season and may actually lift the champions league title next season, as for their league title I?m very confident that they will lift it again next season.
I really don?t see Manchester City doing very well next season especially since pep is not in the club again so they can?t actually lift the premier league title next season.

Manchester City didn't have a bad season, they certainly didn't have a great season, but they still played better than a lot of other teams.
Next league in my opinion will be more difficult for City, Arsenal encouraged by this season will certainly want to push on performances again, Manchester United who are in the recovery phase will obviously push hard to secure a good place, obviously they will aim for first place, but it will be difficult for them to easily reach it.
Arsenal just need to improve their attack to be more dangerous, otherwise they don't need much change in my opinion.

Arteta do not want these guys in the attacking line, he wants everybody close to the box, to achieve his defensive game play, all is required to build up the strength of Arsenal's attack is the mind change of coach Arteta, and you'd begin to notice Saka, Gyokeres, Kai Havertz, and Trossard netting more goals.

Arsenal conceded goal last season but what they scored outnumbered the number they conceded. But Arsenal method of scoring goals was well known to other teams cause it was n set pieces and it's going to be difficult as they are known for that already and other teams will develop a way to defend them to avoid conceding against them. Arsenal should better find others means if they want to remain strong next season.

Not a joker to me but he is no longer that direct and explosive as we use to see him when he played for Brighton. He could still be useful but not as a starter for Mikel Arteta.

Injuries filled season for Saka. I don't want to say ill about the guy but he has become a lot selfish last season. I get that he wants that goals for confidence but it will come naturally. He shoots when he should have passed the ball and dribbles when he should have a one two quick passes with his teammates. The only worthy player leading the attacking line last season was Viktor Gyökeres. Improvements better be brought in.

Do you think the defensive game can still work for Arsenal next season? Honestly from my perspective that will be very tough because we saw how they managed to win premier league trophy this season. Arsenal were lucky Manchester City wasn't in their best form this season, if they had been i don't think Arsenal would have won the premier league title.

I feel very happy as Arsenal won their league trophy, but I don't have much confidence with Mikel Arteta defensive strategy because I don't think that will work next season, Champions league final should served as a lesson to Arsenal. They have strong defense already, what they need is to acquire important players for their attack because that's the position they have problem with.

Arsenal, despite their performance in the last season, we saw the lack of compatibility of players within the Arsenal lineup and that is even what affected them in the championship finals where some Arsenal players failed to deliver penalties which is most disappointing, for Asernal to rewrite that story, they will definitely have to bring in multiple players during this transfer window to better they lots in the current season at least for Asernal to make better recorded than last season.

It's a smart move for every team to work very hard on their defense because no matter how strong a team is with their attack, if the defense is not solid, they won't go far with their strides. So my advice to every team out there is they should invest in their defense as much as they are working on their attack, you may have a very strong attack to make goals for you but ones the defense is poor, all the efforts which have been made by the attack will be redicled by the defense with conceded goals. It is just like someone who builds a house to some level and the foundation which will hold the house is poor. The effect of such planning will result to a collapse of the building at the end of it.

It was quite unfortunate that defense wasn't enough for arsenal to win the match against psg because their attack wasn't really that good, being defensive is something that cannot really work against a team like psg,. without having a good attack strategy it is going to be hard to win against them.

True, let me use Arsenal as an instance, the have very good defense with a fairly good attack if their defense wasn't strong enough i doubt they'll be able to go unbeaten for that long or even draw to PSG in the finals, PSG would scored them up to 3 or more goals but Gabriel and Saliba where solid.
 Well all all positions of a team is important even though the players a team have are not the best they should be experienced enough to perform well, just like Kai Havertz scored the opening goal for Arsenal in that finals, if he wasn't experienced he would've been pressured to miss the one on one goal scoring opportunity with PSG's keeper.

My question now is despite the fact that every team wants their team to be solid in all positions, now if for instance they are left with just one option that it's either you have a solid defense and a shaky attack or you have a solid attack and a shaky defense, which will you prefer? And with the look of things Arsenal literally won the English premier League title by having a solid defense and a shaky attack, so does it mean the defense seem to be more important than the attack or what? After all, there is no way that Arsenal will not win, and even with how they were looking down on Arsenal, we still won, and it's a good one.

Carrick has evolved Manchester United differently than the last two managers who handled the club, he may not have done this over a long period, but for the shortest of time he has been the manager, we can assume that Manchester United do have a future to compete for next season title race.

Let's observe his coaching from the start of the the season, and were it will end, he has potential of finishing top four.

Manchester United have do very great last season and before carrick come Manchester United have been strongly in the league competition even without playing any major competition but still struggling, but now that Manchester United change coach the club as start to do well and get the opportunity to qualify for the champions league next season. We will see if Manchester United can do well next season and win some trophies, since they didn’t get any chance to win last season but am sure with how they perform last time they can get some rewards next summer.
