The CL winner odds are already out for next season by the way. PSG who are the champions of the last 2 years are favoured the most by bookmakers obviously. They have 6.00 odds.

Arsenal and Bayern Munich follow right behind with 7.00. Barcelona are given a higher chance than Real Madrid. Maybe because of the recent change of manager at Real Madrid.

Otherwise both of these teams were eliminated in the same stage last season...

The PSG Squad is in good shape and they can still go ahead to win the 2026/2027 Uefa Champions League trophy, so I'm not surprised to see how the bookmarkers has favored them to win the Champions League. Bayern Munich still has a good team and they can possibly win the Champions League, I'm okay with them following right behind PSG, but as for Arsenal, I don't think they should jointly follow PSG behind with Bayern Munich as I'm not sure if they would have a successful season as they did last season.

PSG is still the biggest candidate, I understand not all of you want to accept that because they won two in a row, and aside from Real Madrid, nobody did three in a row in the past 50 years, so there was a big deal of this, hell even double is not that common, so everyone thinks a three in a row will not happen and a very low chance.

But you have to realize that PSG is still the best team right now, there is no reason why we should assume any other team will do any differently and beat them.

Enrique is a great coach, but his peak is almost over, he may not win the champions league, anymore this season, Arteta seem to be the team much in their peak, and have a huge drive towards winning the championship after losing to PSG twice in two seasons, one at the semi-finals, and the other in the finals. Another guy is Kompany his fire is burning real high, his peak is also by the corner.

You are literally saying that Enrique is done at age 56? As if you know anything about Enrique, his overall physical condition or anything about his plans. He just won the Champions League two times in a row and you conclude that this means it is now over for him. Someone explain that logic to me. They recently extended his contract until 2030, do you know that? They raised his salary to around 20 million per season and all those signs are indicators for you that Enrique is done.

They didn't extend the contract for one season or two seasons, they extended the contract for four seasons and made him one of the highest paid coaches in the history of football. All that makes you think his days are counted. I am sure that you are the only one with that idea and Enrique knows that he has probably the best European team available right now and they will be able to compete for titles for years to come. What made you think that Luis Enrique's peak is almost over? Before winning the UEFA Champions League last year, Luis Enrique last won the competition in 2015 with Barcelona but 10 years later, he won it with a French club who's never won it before in their entire history and went on to retain it this year, that's to tell you that his tactical style of play is one that can survive decades of football evolution.
These other young managers you mentioned are doing good and also has the chances of winning the UEFA Champions League competition next season but that doesn't mean that Enrique's peak is nearing it's end.

A qualifying round will be played, and the teams in the qualifying round are usually lower-ranked teams. Therefore, many of us don't know them. However, I can say that I know the team Sabah, which won the Azerbaijani league last year. I think Qarabagh performed well in the Champions League last year, but Sabah beat them in the Azerbaijani league. I expect the Azerbaijani team to advance in this qualifying round.

Are you then saying that PSG would win the champions league three times in a row? this same thoughts was with Guardiola, everybody thought he'd do more, but y'all fail to understand diminishing return, it works with everything we have to lay our hand on, including football, as I said, Enrique is a top notch coach, he has the best team so far on the planet, but he'd have a hard time winning the champions league this season or the next, PSG will most definitely finish in the quater or semi finals.

With the level of football strategy he commands it takes a lot of brain power to keep up with it, don't get me wrong, I'm not undermining his age, no, he'd need to rebuild again to set out as a winner in the champions league which would require strength and effort, before he'd conclude at fixing a fresh new strategy that'll outsmart these young managers again, PSG must have lost in two different champions league campaigns. We'd watch, and get to see what would happen in the coming season.

When Luis Enrique accepted PSG offer, I thought he was chasing a domestic league trophy haul, but that wasn't the case. He's managed to pull off a major upset. Winning the UCL trophy twice in a row is not an achievement that most other coaches can achieve, PSG is very lucky to have Luis Enrique because he has succeeded in winning the trophy that Nasser Al-Khelaifi has long been after.
It's hard to guarantee that PSG won't win the UCL trophy 3 times in a row, Luis Enrique has proven his quality, he is also not the type of coach who is easily satisfied with the depth of the squad he currently has. PSG will continue to hunt for new players to improve the quality of its squad so it can compete with other favorite teams who have rebuilt their squads after failing to win the UCL last season.

Why are you even mentioning Arsenal as one of the main contenders for the Champions League title? They got lucky with their path to the final last season, the likelihood of that happening again is extremely low. If Arsenal looked formidable at the start of the season, by the end they had turned into an ordinary team - just one of many. In my view, their chances of winning the Champions League will be no better than those of another 5 - 6 teams, and lower than those of Real Madrid, Bayern, and PSG. PSG will indeed remain among the top favorites. Given their resources in Ligue 1, they hold a massive advantage over clubs playing in more competitive leagues.

I admit Arsenal looked really impressive last season and deserved all the praise for reaching the final. But this is a massive competition with so many top clubs from different leagues. There are plenty of teams with the experience and winning mentality to knock Arsenal out before they even reach another final. On top of that, we don't even know the fixture draw yet, and that could have a huge impact on Arsenal's journey next season. Who knows? They could end up facing PSG in the round of 16 or another knockout round and get eliminated.

With that in mind, I actually agree with your point.

Arsenal deserved with a title in Premier League as it's a fourth season they consecutively fight for Premier League title with three previous seasons ended as a runner-up. That title was not won too impressively but Arsenal deserved to win it, and if other clubs in Premier League could not prevent Arsenal lifting a trophy, it's because they performed worse than Arsenal in the last season.

They have a summer for player transfers and trainings to prepare for a next season, to beat Arsenal in matches and in a league battle too. If they want to win the trophy, take it over from Arsenal, they must do it in a next season. I see it's not easy as Arsenal and Arteta are strong, experienced and with a title in hands, they already improved their mentality a lot.

I'm of the same view with you when it comes to Barcelona and Real Madrid. As long as next year's champions League is concerned, Real Madrid could be more favoured than Barcelona because they have started working towards it with their recent signings and interests. It is true that it is too early to decide but I still don't think that it is impossible for PSG to win the champions League again because their team is still almost the same except for the exit of Ramos in the front line who is heading to AC Milan. However, I doubt if Arsenal can make it to the final again this season. Let's say: PSG<Real Madrid<Arsenal<Barcelona.

Isn't every season always like this because as I remember this season also when the Champions League has not started Manchester City, Bayern and Madrid have always been the list of clubs with the strongest probability of even beating PSG in terms of probability at the beginning and in the end this will always happen.

But maybe for next season the situation will be a little different for PSG especially after back to back then the probability will be a little better compared to the 2026 season, it's just not inevitable that some clubs like Bayern or Madrid will always be in a strong probability from the start.

Next season I want to see Manchester United come back to the Champions League and surprise Club Como from Serie A because this is a test for them.

I do not like the PSG three-peat story either. No one remembers that Ramos (the man sold to Milan) failed to make a single Champions League appearance last season. He was never going to play any role in their European plans anyway, so it is not like they are losing anything. It is clearing a salary. The actual issue is whether Luis Enrique can continue to get away with a lack of a proper striker when at some point, someone will realise it.

The thing I am really excited about for next season is the chaos. Like Como's owner is worth more than most Premier League clubs combined. But they are rebuilding their stadium walls as we speak, widening the pitch by hand basically. If the build takes longer than a week, they are unable to host European games at home. I cannot believe that is such a crazy thing to do.

United I will believe when I see it. Carrick signed ederson from Atalanta. The funny thing is, guy did not even find his way into Brazil's World Cup team. So while every other new signing is coming back exhausted from the tournament, United's midfielder is actually rested. Small edge but those things matter in September when everybody else is on fumes.

I do not believe we can foretell this season, as we normally would. Too many moving pieces. It is the first time in many years I have felt that way.

You should think of the last time Madrid did that, and how the club was able to recover ever since then, football is more of a mental game than just running around chasing the ball in the pitch, coaches or clubs that win in tough competitions like Champions league hardly recover from the stress that easily to maintain the streaks, that's why it's so hard to retain those cups for too long, if not Madrid would have been the only team to carry the cup all the time, but it took them another 3-4 years to win the champions league again after the last one in 2018, then city carried the cup in 2023, and madrid 2024, before PSG came to take it two times in a row, you saw how hard it was at the finals against Arteta.

Sorry to say but you actually have to speak for yourself because Arsenal was never the favorite to all football fans, they were the favorite to some while Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain was the favorite to some, yes they were absolutely consistent in the tournament last season no doubt, but what annoys me the most was that rubbish they played against Paris Saint Germain in the final, like how can they play eleven men defense against Paris Saint Germain that even uninformed Chelsea beat three goals to nothing, that game was really embarrassing and I hate that I actually watched that game.

Just because they had a really incredible performance in the champions league last season, a number of persons did saw then as favorite but just like we saw, been the favorite to many does not mean you will win, it only make you the preferred for many person and if you are not putting in the efforts, you will likely loose.

Arsenal did played their best in that game, they were only trying to be really conservative which they did not know will not help them all the time, the y did messed up the chance by been too careful at a time.

But after lifting the trophy 2 times in a row finally bookies are giving them credit.    Arsenal and Bayern Munich are given the same chance. It makes sense to me. Both of them made serious difficulties for PSG.
