For the past two season Real Madrid finished without a trophy but coming to this season they have made some significant changes in the team but we won't conclude yet if the team has gotten better when they have nothing to prove and the league is yet to resume. The best thing to do is not to expect too much from the team because Jose Mourinho and the new players will not turn things around overnight they will like to work with the rest of the players, master their pattern then form a formidable squad together. No need to hype the team yet let's wait till they start playing and getting good results before you can praise them.
You are right, I believe that Mourinho will be able to put the team back to a better form and that wouldn't take much time. Though, it depends how fast the players can adapt to his game pattern because it's not easy for a new coach to immediately, build his team to perfection.

I believe that with the quality players in the team, they shouldn't find it too difficult to cope with Mourinho game pattern because they are smart and very sharp players with great potentials.

If they are going to perform well in the champions league then it stands to reason that they will perform will the the Laliga as well, it might not really look like it but Mourinho will do whatever it takes to make sure his team performs in their best possible form, if they don't do that then they won't be able to make it anywhere in any league they play this season and I don't think Mourinho wants to start this season with anything other than the best.

I believe that the whole sporting world is waiting and curious to see how Mourinho's Real Madrid will play.

I personally find Mourinho a coach who had his golden period. But i still consider him capable of rebuilding a team that can win again and compete in a very serious way.
The whole world is waiting to see how Real Madrid will perform this season. If Real Madrid's coach was someone else, the world would still be waiting in the same way. Because here the issue is not about the coach, everyone is waiting to see Real Madrid's comeback. On paper, Real Madrid is one of the strongest teams. They are full of star players in most of their positions. Along with this, each player is quite skilled and experienced in their place. But due to some internal problems, Madrid's last 2 seasons have been unreasonably bad. We have seen in Real Madrid that the ego of the players has a very terrible effect on the club. So I hope Mourinho can solve the main problem of Madrid and carry the best title in Europe again.

This season would not gonna funny at all. Though I believe that the Real Madrid are not going to fumble as they did last season, this time around everything will definitely be different from thier last season performances. If really all the players work as a team and focus on their matches throughout, the storyline would be change, it shouldn't be as if we are just over hype this Real Madrid again next season, well there are must be a huge challenges thos period. Due to how some teams may also prepare to challenge.
Know clubs will ever agree that they will fumble in any season until they experienced it themselves, either in the beginning of the season or at the end part of the season, all i know that each teams has their ways of fumbling when injury hold one or two key players or at the moment when they couldn't have sign up players that will help to boost up the clubs, were coach and manger of a club neglect of signing such players, so as Real Madrid is busy preparing for a better position come this season, others clubs are equally working jujulously to meet up the standard of any opponent clubs.

Look at Jose Mourinho record in almost all the clubs he has gone to, his team is always ready to compete as quick as possible.
The only ingredient I believe that his real madrid team needs right now is the acquisition of Rodri, because he is going to be the direct replacement of Toni kroos, that left the club a few seasons back, and since then, nobody has done the job he normally does well or even gotten close to his level,  so if they can seal this transfer, and bring Rodri into their team, they will be more than ready to reclaim all trophies they will be participating in this season.

I don't know if you're aware, but the match is over. Fenerbahçe won 2-0. We don't know what will happen in the return leg, but I think Fenerbahçe won't give up after this score. Unless they suffer a major disaster in Austria, they will get a good result there and advance to the next round. Who will their opponents be in the next round? Sparta Prague on one side, Olympique Lyon on the other. In the first leg, Prague managed to win at home. Even though it's only a one-goal difference, Prague went to France with an advantage. Lyon, on the other hand, is a team that can easily close this gap at home. Fenerbahçe has the strength to eliminate both of them. I think Fenerbahçe will most likely qualify for the Champions League group stage from these matches.

Certainly on paper Fenerbahçe is favored by a more competitive squad that is aiming for something more this year. Lyon is coming off a season that was more lacking from a physical and scoring point of view, but is looking for a bit of redemption.

While Sparta Prague, among the three, is the one considered most strongly at risk.

Yes, the result of this match was predictable because Dinamo was a clear favorite.
However, I didn't expect such a big 5:0 victory after a very difficult match that Dinamo had in the last round with Thun.
Obviously, this will be a much easier opponent for them than the Swiss champion with whom they had a tough fight last week.
I'm a little surprised that Olympiacos did not manage to use the advantage of home advantage and beat N.E.C, now they will have a very difficult task in the return match.
Union and Bodo played a great match and here everything is obviously still open and completely uncertain.
I expected more from Lyon but Sparta will obviously be an unpleasant and difficult opponent for the French club.

They are all very complicated games, it is difficult to actually establish who will emerge victorious. Of course, on paper there are always the strongest teams, the favorites and those who have, no, an actual gap from their opponent. But on the field a match lasts ninety minutes and the ball is open to everyone. So you always have to wait until the final whistle before decreeing the result, which in this case the result was truly extreme 5 goals, they practically dominated the pitch, they didn't make them move at all.

Yes, I agree, the Champions League is the highest quality club competition and all the clubs in the qualifiers want the ''ultimate prize'', to qualify for the group stage of the competition.
I think Dinamo is on the right track to qualify for the group stage of the competition again, but in the final round they will face a very difficult and unpleasant opponent, the Norwegian champion Viking.
There were no major surprises from the other matches in this round of qualifiers for the Champions League, except perhaps Lyon's defeat against Sparta and I expected more from Olympiacos at home.

When the season starts that's when we wil know which club would do better but since it haven't started yet, we can only speculate about their performance in the upcoming season.
Real madrid has always been one of the strongest team in football but for some past seasons now, their performance has been extremely poor and Which is why Barcelona has been leading in the LaLiga. I think mourinho is buying players to strengthen real Madrid and to restore them back to how they were before as the strongest team in Europe. Yes, real madrid can be able to claim their crown back from psg and their title back from Barcelona in the LaLiga that's if they can get the right set of players they need.

Champions league next season is really going to be very competitive, teams have added players to their squad during this transfer window and are all looking ready to attack the championship league. Real Madrid will be looking forward to claiming back their glory from PSG, and because they've been knocked out three consecutive times without reaching the semi finals if I'm not mistaken, with the arrival of a new coach, and the signings of some Marquee players like Bernardo Silva, and Diomande, and other good players, I think this season, I think it's really going to be interesting.
Moreover, Barcelona have also acquired some big names and a shaping up to the new season, with the signing of Rodri underway, I think that midfield duo of Pedri, Rodri and Olmo will be so solid that teams will find it difficult to go past. Let's hope every other team strengthens the club to be ready for the competition in the champions league next season

First, is Fenerbahçe not a club? Second, is it not a good club? Have you considered the offers given to him by the club with the offers given by other clubs? Offers matter; that's their profession, so money matters as well. Besides, Fenerbahçe can be considered the second largest club in Süper Lig, the very next to Galatasaray, so trying his luck to help them switch the second position to the first position can't be a bad idea, as it would be his glory. The guy is also still young, he may still switch between more than 6 clubs before his football career is over.

He will have plenty of time to play and show off. Fenerbahce is a historically very strong team. i wouldn't put it second to Galatasaray, perhaps in the last period, only and exclusively because Galatasaray dominated in the Super League. But Fenerbahce for me is historically at the same level as Galatasaray.

Greenwood and Talisca's goals were excellent, and Fenerbahçe won the first leg 2-0 thanks to them. Securing such an advantage in the return leg in Istanbul was crucial. Fenerbahçe will use this advantage in the second leg as well. Sturm Graz will want to win the match in Austria, but they will need to score at least 3 goals to advance. Currently, Fenerbahçe has a higher chance of progressing. Fenerbahçe has also assembled a very strong squad. I think they can get through the playoffs with this squad.
Sometimes I wonder why a brilliant player like Mason Greenwood will be playing for a team like Fenerbahçe because he's a stardom. He's no average player because he once played for one of the biggest club in Europe and we're talking about Manchester United. Greenwood is still very young and uprising, and we don't expect such talent to be playing for a turkey side except when he's aged enough and reaching the end of the football career, that's when he will decide to join the Turkish side.

Well Mason Greenwood is only 24years old, so it’s not like he’s at the stage where players usually start winding down their careers.

After everything that happened to him at Manchester United, i would assume that he just wanted to rebuild his career and reputation from the scratch after leaving Man U.

And besides, he did well when he was at Getafe, then followed it up with two strong seasons at Marseille where he was scoring consistently and proving that he could still perform at a high level so I wouldn’t say he fell off or anything.

Also, you seem to be belittling Fernabahce and making it sound like it’s just some random Turkish Club that players join when they’re finished.
They are literally one of the best clubs in Turkey, and they regularly compete for the league title, they play in European too and they are willing to spend big money on a player if they see fit; do you think they would have payed €39 million for greenwood with a long term contract if they didn’t see him as a key player?, i assume they wouldn’t.

The reality is that Greenwood’s career has been influenced pretty much more by the circumstances surrounding his departure from Manchester United than by his footballing ability and despite him continuing to perform well, some big clubs in Europe still have been hesitant to pursue him because of that controversy.
So as a result, he has had to take a different route to continue his career but that doesn’t mean his talent has disappeared, it simply means his options have been more limited than those of a player who is judged purely based on his footballing ability.

I guess after this result we would be able to get past Sturm Graz comfortably.  Grin  We could have actually got a much bigger score gap than this. But the opponent's goalkeeper did a pretty good work!

Talisca is doing a really nice job in the absence of a real striker. Greenwood also scored an amazing goal in his first starting 11 match. I just hope we don't fail in reaching beyond playoffs in qualification stage.

Aarhus managed to defeat Sabah in the first leg at home. Aarhus was the favorite in the first match at home and won without making any mistakes. After leading 1-0 at halftime, Aarhus extended their lead to 2-0 in the second half but conceded a goal just three minutes later, and the match ended 2-1. Aarhus will most likely be the team to advance to the next round. Despite putting up a good fight on the road, Sabah couldn’t even manage to come away with a draw.

The home team was favored by the atmosphere in their home and by the fact that they had a more stable and stronger squad on paper. It is a team that has known each other for a longer time and has a game that is not excessively dangerous, but just enough to cause harm. While i think the visiting team suffered a bit this away match.

I think this win against Sturm should be enough for Fenerbahce, even away, because they played very well defensively. And I think if they can score another goal away, and I think that's entirely possible, then it's all over for Sturm. As for their potential opponents, Sparta or Lyon, I think they can beat them too. And frankly, I thought Lyon could beat Sparta, or at least not lose away. Now Sparta has won at home and has obviously made Lyon's task more difficult, but I think it will be a completely different game in France, and I expect Lyon to face Fenerbahçe in the next round.

It depends on how Fenerbahçe decides to approach the match. If he wants to defend the result and risk a retaliation of the result, then he will play more defensively, which in my opinion he shouldn't do, but he should at least try to find a way to score, to gain an even bigger advantage.

In matches like this, it's crucial not to be defensive. Fenerbahçe already has a two-goal advantage and the lead going into the return leg. Their opponent will take risks and leave gaps in their defense. If Fenerbahçe's forwards can score another goal, they'll secure the win. Sturm Graz's only hope is to take control of the game after scoring an early goal at home. If they can't do that, Fenerbahçe will advance. Fenerbahçe's squad is also in a better position than the Austrian team. Therefore, Graz has a great chance, and an early red card for Fenerbahçe could change the course of the match.

The talk was directed at RealMadrid if I'm right,I think poor performance is not something that's expected by any team and that's  because of how prepared they were before the seasons kicks off, but that shouldn't stop any team to make preparations for any season thats to come, we can see that RealMadrid is very prepared for this season, and I also agree with you that other teams are also doing the same but the difference here is quality of each club players, if you actually watch football, you will understand that with the players that has been signed by RealMadrid, it will be difficult to say that the team will flope next season.

Mourinho has been the head coach of Real Madrid before and has a lot of experience in managing the club. It won't take him long to understand the players' mentality and how to motivate them. The club has talented players but needed a skilled coach because after Carlo Ancelotti left, Xabi Alonso had a very short time in charge. Xabi Alonso was a relatively young coach so he didn't get along well with the players and was fired after 6 months. Álvaro Arbeloa took over as interim coach but he was also young.

Real Madrid needed an experienced coach like Mourinho to manage and inspire the young and talented players they have and I think he can succeed.

The new manager is a good manager but I still don't believe he can help Real Madrid. Let see if he will prove me wrong.

I strongly believe that if Mourinho manages to give Real Madrid a real identity, Real Madrid can go very far in the Champions League. But i also think that there are teams that, more than Real, want to win it again and that have all it takes to do so, such as Bayern Munich, who have a score to settle, i would say more than evident with the Parisians.

I think everyone agrees on Lyon right now. They will definitely get the score they need to advance in France, with the home advantage, because they only lost 2-1. If Fenerbahçe eliminates Sturm Graz in the return leg, a great match-up awaits us. Because both teams will have good players. Whichever team we face, I'm making this prediction thinking Lyon will be the opponent. The French have many quality players, and Fenerbahçe also has players like Kante, Guendouzi, Greenwood, Asensio, and Skriniar who know France very well. I think it will be a good match-up. If Sparta Prague is drawn, I think it will be a much easier match for Fenerbahçe. Because, in my opinion, Lyon is currently the stronger opponent.

Lyon is definitely the strongest team to beat. Historically it has always been a very strong and very competitive team, even if in recent years it has also had some financial problems. However, he meets a Fenerbahce who has chosen to rebuild a team, choosing very strong players who can easily damage Lyon's defense.

Seeing what PSG achieved last season, it has made many people believe they can win the Champions League trophy for the third time this season. While it's not entirely impossible, it won't be easy for PSG either, as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and many more big teams are also preparing to win the trophy. So far, they have streamlined their squad and will recruit new players. Enrique is truly preparing them for the next trophy. But whether this squad is capable of competing for the Champions League trophy remains to be seen. If PSG is able to win the trophy once again this season, it will be a historic achievement for them.
Luis Enrique is a fantastic coach and strategist even though I don’t like to praise him much. What he has achieved with PSG is bigger than what he’s done so far in his career. I mean giving them their first Champions League trophy and not just once but twice in a row…. Ahh that’s a thing for the Cinemas and he did it playing fantastic sweet football.

One thing is to have the right ammunitions as a coach and the other is to know how to use it. Luis Enrique has both in abundance. He knows how to utilise the players to their maximum potentials, who would have thought Ousmane Dembele would be a Ballon D’or winner.
I used to underate Luis Enrique, and when Manchester United board was seeing him as a potential head coach i was not happy because i had a belief he cannot change Manchester United performance but after seeing how he has transformed Paris Saint-German and won 2 Champions league for them i am regretting why Manchester United board did not go for him, because Manchester United would have been the one to benefit what Paris Saint-German has benefited since appointing Luis Enrique as their head coach. Luis Enrique is a good coach, and he can still deliver a 3rd Champions league for Paris Saint-German.

Mourinho will probably be more excited about winning the Spanish league trophy than the UCL and will prepare accordingly. It is not easy for any team to focus on multiple tournaments in a season. The upcoming season is just the beginning for Mourinho and he is currently preparing the team and its positive output will be on his strategy as his primary task will be to rebuild the team and secondly to maintain the discipline of the team.

At this point, I have lower my expectations for Real Madrid next season. Signing attacking players doesn’t mean you can dominate every opponent you play against. I expected Real Madrid to sign Rodri, not Yan Diomande, because they have one of the best attacking players in Europe. From the past two seasons, Real Madrid has lacked a good defender and a defensive midfielder. Rodri has changed his mind to play for Barcelona. If Barcelona can get the deal done, then La Liga will be more difficult than we thought next season.

Fenerbahce has a good team and good players, as I thought, a possible loss against Sturm Graz was difficult.
In Istanbul they can win easily, in Austria it will be a good challenge, Sturm Graz tried to give their best and not lose face. We'll see what happens in the other games too.
So i give to Fenerbahce a good outlook because they work good.

Fenerbahçe performance in the last game was better than in the last two games. I thought Sturm Graz would give them a tough challenge due to their performance against Heart. Fenerbahçe won the first leg by two goals, while Sturm Graz will host the second leg. It’s possible to make a comeback from two goals down, we have to wait and see how the second leg goes.
