That's right Jose Mourinho took over as manager at the right time and as we see it he has spent a long time to build this team but this manager has brought in some players from different clubs who are very good in their respective positions and It can be said that has added star players like Diomande, Cucurella and also extended Vinicius Junior's contract until 2032, so it seems that this team will be unstoppable next season.
You only mentioned most of the good things Mourinho has done, but you forgot that he still hasn’t been able to bring in a midfielder. In fact, Madrid’s biggest problem and weakness is their fragile midfield. They don’t have a player who can properly replace Toni Kroos and control the midfield.

At first, it was very impressive to see him bring in some of the players you mentioned, but seeing that Mourinho still hasn’t signed the midfielder who should have been a higher priority makes me a little doubtful about what kind of results Madrid will achieve later on.
Jose Mourinho has managed to bring in a midfielder from Manchester City and you should also note that City's Bernardo Silva has joined the team on a free transfer, even we all saw it he has signed a two-year contract with Real Madrid. It is true that Jose Mourinho may have brought in a midfielder but he cannot replace Toni Kroos and it is likely that Madrid's new signing Silva will not be able to control the club's midfield as well as Toni Kroos.

I noticed this too the German player was the most reliable player in Madrid's midfield, having spent ten years at the club and won five UEFA Champions League trophies, so it seems that if Real Madrid want to take their midfield to that level, then perhaps they should add a more trained and talented midfielder than Silva to the team this transfer window.
Very true, they will need more hands they are well capable of taking charge of the midfield position because of the long season which will eventually lead to fatigue of players and an experienced midfielder will be needed to cover up for the main midfielder and Silva is just joining this league and will need to adapt. because this is a new coach, a new philosophy and new teammates, so for him to really master the pressure and the playstyle of the team, it will take him sometime to master. But having another midfielder that's experienced to that back up in the midfield of the team, they will do much more and go into any game without any iota of fear, I know that Jose Mourinho is experienced and will want to build up the player to be adapted to the team system but Silva will still need sometime to do that.

The success of a team is not just hinged on how a coach performs in that team or even in the previous team he has managed. sometimes the internal dynamics of a club can even frustrate a good coach that has the best of plan that is capable of yielding the right result in a team. if the players are still looking at themselves as stars that are not ready to play collectively as a team, a coach effort can do barely little to giving them the expected success fans are yearning for. Madrid is a big club with a lot of complexity from players and management. there failure per season is not always a coaching issue but most times a player and management issue.

The success of a team depends above all on the players, but if things don't go well it's always the coach who pays. Real Madrid is a team made up only of champions and it is not always easy to make them play well together, sometimes the problem of the player and the management is tru, but they must be good at understanding it too.

I disagree with you, the success of a team doesn't only depend on the players but rather it also depend on the Coach/manager, if the manager doesn't know how to Coach I mean when to make substitutions and when not to make there will be a big problem and if a Coach doesn't know the players to start up with that is another problem. Lastly, Real Madrid is a great team and not only made of champions anymore because those who you are referring as champions and not longer there.
A team's collective effort is more important in winning. If one only relies on the players, it will not be right because there are many other factors involved in the team. A manager's skills and strategy before a match and deciding which players need to be played and which players should be rested are all things that need to be carefully monitored. If a match is lost, the manager has to be accountable to the team management and sometimes he has to be reprimanded for adopting the wrong strategy.

This is a good example of how Real Madrid has not achieved significant success despite having many stars and valuable players. The responsibility for this does not fall only on the players, the responsibility directly falls on the manager because he has to consider the overall aspect of the team management and if the team does not perform well, he is the one who is fired. Which we have seen in the past two seasons.

Is there a way to bet on Mourinho having a conflict with Mbappe at some point during the first season?

They are both dictators and Mourinho had a beef with a celebrity player in almost every team he managed.

I think if the odds are good I could take that bet.

Tomorrow sees the return leg between Lyon and Sparta Prague, it is crucial for Lyon to win this match, as they lost the first leg away. A draw would be enough for Sparta, and I believe that is exactly what they will try to achieve. I think Lyon can beat Sparta at home, but the situation is far from simple for them, and a solid defensive performance could allow Sparta to advance to the next round.
The winning team will most likely face Fenerbahçe in the next round. Olympique Lyon, a French team going through difficult times, wants to at least qualify for the Champions League to both generate revenue and gain prestige. Therefore, they will first need to beat Sparta Prague at home. Sparta Prague's only option is to play completely defensively and attack with counter-attacks. Perhaps if they score a second goal in such a scenario, they will increase their chances of advancing to the next round. It will be an enjoyable match in France, and I think Lyon will win.

  • Kairat vs Levski Sofia (Levski to qualify)
  • Bodø/Glimt vs Union SG (Bodø/Glimt to qualify)
  • Kauno Žalgiris vs Dinamo Zagreb (Dinamo to qualify)
  • Slovan Bratislava vs Mjällby (Slovan to qualify)
  • Sturm Graz vs Fenerbahçe (Fenerbahçe to qualify)
  • Lyon vs Sparta Prague (Lyon to qualify)

Out of the 10 upcoming matches in the second leg of the third qualifying round, I would rather pick these 6 because they seem easier to predict. What do you guys think about these 6 matches?

If choosing matches by ease of prediction, I would add the 7th match, Crvena Zvezda vs Hapoel Beer Sheva, to those you listed. Crvena Zvezda is the clear favorite, even though they lost the first match with a score of 1-0. The Serbian club is playing at home and I think, due to their superiority in class, they will not only be able to win back the 1 goal, but also score at least 2 unanswered goals.

In football there are many factors that can guarantee the success of a team, however if these factors are neglected then there are chances that even if you have the best of coaches within that team it is still possible for such a team to fail, the first and most important factor that any team needs to survive or succeed is not to allow any form of interference from the club's leadership of board, every department of a football club has its sole responsibilities and interfering in another department especially in the technical or coaching department might infringe on the team's performance and end up disrupting the team's progress or concentration.

Yes, departmental independence is very important for a team's success. The manager should be allowed to do his job independently, the technical department should be allowed to do its job independently, and other departments, including the medical and physiotherapy departments, should also have an environment where they can work independently. Basically, there should be no interference from one department to another.

Real Madrid lacks that independence, there is no discipline between departments, there is no good relationship and there are conflicts among the players. Even the manager was not evaluated properly. Maybe that environment will change in the coming season.

You just raised a nice point maybe, you should go check Polymarket to see if such kind of bet is already ongoing. Yea, there's every possibility that Mourinho might have issues with Mbappe but I don't think it will lead to any disrespect or conflict because Mourinho wouldn't mind putting him on the bench because controlling the dressing room was one of the major reason why Perez hired him couple with his experience.

I'll also prefer Ancelotti over Mourinho but the person that can revive Real Madrid back to their previous strength is Mourinho, it was obvious that a manager that could discipline some players was needed and Mourinho can perfectly play that role than Ancelotti, players like Mbappé don't need too much freedom else his pride would make him disrespect the manager.
It's something Mourinho won't tolerate, he loves players who respect and obey his instructions and won't tolerate anyone that goes against it. Do not forget that Ancelotti failed to secure a trophy and even got kicked out of the Champions League which is why Perez sacked him.

When it comes down to it, I believe Real Madrid made the right decision in hiring Jose as their new coach because there will be a lot of changes, aside from the fact that Jose will not put up with any kind of disrespect. Jose seems to be the person that Real Madrid needs because, from the beginning, his personality will fit exactly what is happening at Real Madrid. This is why we believe he is the greatest man for the position, and now that they have a coach like him, we should not expect anything less from the entire team. I still trust Jose more than Ancelotti because he is a principled man. and even if we all are just anticipating we expect thing to go well actually because of the kind of attention this is drawing.

I understand that Morinho is an expert in picking beef with a particular celebrity player in his team. But also he is not insensitive to players impact to his team. I don't think he will have any beef with Kylian Mbappe at least not in this first season because he understands how to utilise Mbappe for a better result. During his previous job at real Madrid, he was very focused on Ronaldo that he usually said that Ronaldo knows what to do and when to do it. He is a manager that believed that utility players who are result oriented don't need extreme restrictions which was why Ronaldo had one of his best career days under his leadership scoring 168 goals in 164 appearances with 49 assists and 19 Hatricks. He built the team around Ronaldo and he had his successful 3 years period winning the league too.

I think Mbappe is going to enjoy same treatment from Morinho due to his ability to convert every opportunity to a goal and his strength while on the pitch. If Morinho will have such beef in his first season, it will be against any other celebrity player who counters his position on the Kylian Mbappe's role in the team. Morinho loves goals and prolific scorers so he will maintain a good relationship with Mbappe. Mbappe too looks very optimistic to work with the manager which shows how adaptable they may easily be when the season starts. Just like the media saw José Morinho's coming to meet Ronaldo as a battle of two biggest egos and got disappointed, same way his return would be because I strongly believe that Mbappe is about to have his best career experience under the new boss.

Is there a way to bet on Mourinho having a conflict with Mbappe at some point during the first season?

They are both dictators and Mourinho had a beef with a celebrity player in almost every team he managed.

I think if the odds are good I could take that bet.

That’s very likely, you can extend the courtesy to Vini Jnr as well. Unfortunately, there are no such markets to bet on. It would be very unusual but who knows, should gambling sites find this to be demanded often by the gambling community, they can look to add it up to the market.

Fenerbache, Dinamo and Lyon for sure,
Bodo and Sofia, I’m not very trusting on them and
Have zero clue on how Slovan would turn out.

Fenerbahçe will face Sturm Graz in Graz tomorrow, holding the advantage from their 2-0 victory in the first leg.
Fenerbahçe secured a favorable result in the first match. I believe they will defeat Graz there as well.
Ederson, who has come down with a flu-like infection, and the injured Musaba have not been included in the squad.
Graz is a very young team. In the first leg, they ran a lot and expended all their energy. I expect a very energetic Graz side tomorrow too, but Fenerbahçe will be the team to advance to the next round.

The key question is who Fenerbahçe's opponent will be. Lyon? Or Sparta Prague? Prague holds a slight advantage, but Lyon will be the one to face Fenerbahçe.

I haven’t checked on Polymarket whether bets like that are available, but I’m pretty sure there’s no bet on Mourinho clashing with Mbappe. Maybe we can bet with friends, especially those who are Real Madrid fans. Cheesy

Yeah, I also agree with you. Perez main goal in recruiting Mourinho is to manage the players egos, especially in the locker room, because the previous coaches, both Alonso and Albelda failed to do that. Even though both had good philosophies, failing to control the locker room made Madrid gameplay inconsistent.

Perez sees the problems currently at Madrid and the only one who can solve them is Mourinho, who has a tough character and experience in coaching star players. He doesn't hesitate to bench players who go against him. So my prediction is that Mbappe won't clash with Mourinho in his first season and I even believe Mbappe will become Mourinho key player next season, both in La Liga and in the UCL.

Yea, I checked Polymarket for the matter as well...

But I believe there will be a market for something like ''Who will leave the team after the season:he or the player he has a conflict with or none of them" once there are tensions. That one would be interesting too because if it's a celebrity player, then the odds would be somewhat even.

  • Kairat vs Levski Sofia (Levski to qualify)

  • Kauno Žalgiris vs Dinamo Zagreb (Dinamo to qualify)

I think I need some changes in my predictions list. In Kairat vs Levski Sofia I want to pick Kairat becuace they way Kazakhstan football Federation are doing to their league it's just insane so I think Kairat can wn this tie and qualify for UCL. In Bodø/Glimt vs Union SG matchs I think we are underestimating Union SG and I know Bodo/Glimt last season was exceptional but this time Union SG can go through to the next round. The remaining matchs winner will Dinamo as you pick I agree with your pick same as Slovan and Fenerbahçe both can qualify to the next round but I have one doubt about Lyon vs Sparta Prague matchs both are good team don't know who can win this tie but the chances of Lyon are high.

By the names of this ten clubs, all the ones you predicted are popular to there opponent but however some of them are definitely going to qualify while few of them will not because already is not all that won there first leg, especially Bodoe Glimt, I wouldn't give them the victory because there draw with Union St.Gilloise was luck, I'm not saying this due to possession but how strategical Union St.Gilloise performance are, so there chances are more to me than Bodoe Glimt on the second leg. Levski Sofia to win is a good game because watching how they took over there first match, I wouldn't doubt a second time. Lyon has already lost point so they have poor chance but for the rest of the club I have not mentioned, I agree with with your prediction on them.

If i will bet on something like this, it won't be Mbappe, but rather Vinicius.

Remember the racist incident that happened when he was still the coach at Benfica. Mourinho supported his player, now he will be coaching Vinicius, i don't know how Vinicius and Mourinho will continue to live with what happened, something might spark the grudge if Vinicius still holds any against Mourinho. Mbappe is backed by Madrid, i doubt any conflict will happen.

Tomorrow night, there should be no problem as long as Fenerbahçe don't lose away from home. I don't think Sturm Graz can beat Fenerbahçe by three goals, so I expect Fenerbahçe to advance.
Fenerbahçe should take it easy tomorrow, avoid tiring their players, and wait to see who their next opponent will be.

Sparta Prague won the first leg 2–1 at home and will travel to face Lyon tomorrow night. If they can get at least a draw, they will become Fenerbahçe's opponent.
I want Sparta Prague to be Fenerbahçe's opponent because I think they would be an easier team for Fenerbahçe to beat.

Attention aside, he needs to prove that he’s the best man for the job. If he’s not able to make Real Madrid better than they are before, then even the principle that he says he has will all become futile and not make any sense. He has a long time record and as long as he’ll keep to that record and maintain it during his stay at Real Madrid, he’ll be praised the more and with be cheered as the best man for the job at Real Madrid. A big change of play is expected from Real Madrid, and until he gets to prove his presence when the season begins, he’ll still remain a speculation of whether he’s going to do well for the team or not. Real Madrid has all eyes on them for the La Liga and Champions league trophy, let’s see how they can be able to achieve that.
