Barcelona really do, and their point of confidence is valid. Keep aside that La Liga doesn't have the best and strongest teams when we combine all the teams that will participate in the Champions League, Barcelona is very separate than the rest of the clubs, this performance could step up to any team, including teams from the most prestigious league, it will be hard to stop the attack, or stopping Barcelona from progressing to win the Champions League.

It is too early to draw conclusions based on a single game, and if one recalls how much Arsenal struggled to win matches at the end of last season, one could even say that little has changed. A 0-3 loss is a heavy defeat, but in essence, it is no different from 0-1 or 4-5 it means dropping three points. It goes without saying that neither City nor Arsenal expected to finish the season with a 100% points, so in the long run, these three points might well be consumed by other events (events that Arsenal fans will hope are successes). Incidentally, despite this result, Arsenal remains the bookmakers' favorite in the title race.

You are right but even if they face a strong opponent they will still perform well just that their defense is not strong like you said and those strong opponent can easily take advantage of them but I can not really say they have not face a strong opponent because the teams  they have been playing and scoring those number of goals, is not all the team you call or consider strong that can score or win in such a way but I believe they are better and stronger this season and they will definitely do great.

Honestly, i haven't seen these serious deteriorations that you say, i think it's part of the normal path of a team to make some mistakes, it's okay to make mistakes and then make amends.
In the end they are in first place in the Premier League, so honestly i don't see these mistakes that you say. Maybe you're referring to something else?

Mourinho couldn't win the UCL during his first time at Real and he had significantly stronger squad back then to be honest.

Just saying.  Of course they are still among the favourites, but behind at least Barcelona and Arsenal (PSG too, imho) and the current odds mirror that.

If we look at Mourinho's statistics, the Real Madrid manager is absolutely right. However, Mourinho knows all these things and he doesn't want to fail. Yes, it's clear he needs someone like Cristiano Ronaldo, he needs a Benzema, but he doesn't have them. He has to work with the squad he has built so far, where his secret weapon, as we all know, is Espinosa.

Now, I'm sure Mourinho needs to change his strategy. I'd say he should trust Endrick more—a player who is very hungry but for some reason hasn't had much luck when he gets minutes on the pitch. Mourinho has already given him some playing time, which is progress. If he did, it's because he saw something interesting in him.

I trust in Mou's experience and his vision of football. It's clear that during his time at Real Madrid he lacked that final bit of luck in the Champions League, but I believe there's always a good opportunity for redemption, and Mou's chance for redemption has arrived. Experiencing a single loss doesn’t make Arsenal fall apart because Arteta will definitely evaluate that loss as a lesson so that in the next match they can do better. Sometimes a single defeat is important for the team to play with more spirit and be more motivated to make changes. 

If we look at Arsenal losing to Brighton, it's actually quite understandable because Arsenal performance in that match was pretty bad they couldn’t get out of Brighton pressure. And it’s another mistake by Arsenal because they already knew Brighton was pressing high, but they still tried to play idealistically, play stylishly. Even though, it’s okay to not be okay.

Brighton played pretty well in this match, and their players were able to follow the coach's system, plus they could maintain high intensity for the full 90 minutes. Arsenal didn’t just lose but they were trapped in tight spaces, couldn’t be creative, and even moving around was difficult.

But Arsenal loss against Brighton doesn’t make me pessimistic about them getting a win against Lille in the UCL continuation.

Arsenal will not face any difficulties in the UEFA Champions League group stage matches as last season's UCL finalists we know face much weaker teams in the group stage, in fact they will play League One club Lille in the second match of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League.

But currently Arsenal have performed poorly in their fifth match in the Premier League as I saw in that match they were completely ineffective against Brighton as they conceded three goals but failed to score any goals.With so many talented players in this team, it looks like they will be able to pull off a win in their second Champions League match. This season is a big challenge as everyone may have noticed that Arsenal have been a bit weaker in the early stages of this season's Premier League.
