That's the biggest football suprise I've seen this season. after that 2-0 i was very optimistic that Roma would, i had zero hopes on Manchester United but football thought me a lesson "don't be too sure until it's over" I don't know what Carrick did to make those players sut up in the second half but it helped.

Real Madrid need to try hard in this second half in order to create history for themselves because they haven't won AEK Athan at home. The first half was very interesting and I didn't expect such performance from the host team. Real Madrid should make proper use of their quality and chances in this game so that they can get three points away from home. Though, it's not going to be easy.

It’s rather surprising how AEK Athan has being able to hold out a good game. I didn’t expect that they would be able to keep Real Madrid at bay up to the 80th minute of the game. Possible, mbappe almost nailed it but it was an of the woodwork. Mourinho already brought in 3~4  players to speed up to game and it seems to be working a bit so far.

From my view, if AEK continues to attempt for goal without switching to a defensive game, the game will eventually end 2-2 because it makes the forwards fall back to defend aswell and this slows down their attacks .

Tbh, AEK has some pretty solid defense in tonight's game.

So if AEK Athens doesn't score Real Madrid won't score! AEK scored the first goal, Real Madrid followed by scoring 30 minutes after the first goal and the first half ended in a 1 - 1 draw. I watched AEK scored the second goal around 70+ minutes and Real Madrid responded almost immediately with their goal to make it 2 - 2 and I'm now wondering if AEK doesn't score won't Real Madrid score! It's as if the match is taking a toll on Real Madrid or AEK is putting up their A game to make sure they hold Real Madrid.

It was a narrow victory that Real Madrid secured in the dying minutes. I think Real Madrid certainly deserved it , as it was very clear that they gave it their all, particularly as the match drew to a close. A rather good strategy from Mourinho , even though he didn’t bring some of his key players for this match , but the substitutions he made in the second half brought about a more positive turnaround . It’s just that their initial formation didn’t seem to work particularly well ... with Vini on the left and Yan Diomande on the right , it turned out to be no better than simply playing just one of them on the left flank

I think Liverpool players suffered fatigue that resulted from the match against Arsenal because they gave their all in that match but Arsenal defenders frustrated all their efforts. If they had given this match against Fenerbahçe more priority they wouldn't have exhausted themselves in the Arsenal match. When he brought in Carreras, Brahim Diaz and Carlos Espi in the last 10 minutes of the game, I know he was looking for a third goal that could be the potential winner. He succeeded in getting the win even when most of us expected a better performance from the 15-time European champions.

For the Vinicius and Diomande positions today, it's obvious that they didn't work, Jose Mourinho will have to make that difficult decision of letting Diomande play in the left wing in important games. And if Vinicius wants to retain that wing, he should step up his game.

Why are clubs finding it hard to hold a lead against Real Madrid.  First it was Roma , they were leading with the scoreline of 3-1 with few minutes to full time. They eventually bottled the lead now Aek has done the same. I still don't understand how they were not able to defend properly.  When Aek took the lead at the 75th minutes I was already rejoicing, then all of a sudden Mbappe score at 78th minutes and ended my hate watching hopes.  Honestly watching Vini play make me sad , I don't think he can regain his form back. He looks lost whenever he is with the ball and I know Mourinho doesn't like a player who doesn't perform well.  But now vini is a big star in that team , my question is, will Mourihno starts benching him for Diomande? Because diomande is currently doing well in that position in the last 2 games.

The game was unexpectedly tough for real Madrid, they didn't expect this performance and fight from AEK Athens, it's seems it was because they were at him that made them have the courage and energy to play the way they did, no one expected the match to end in a die minute the way it did, but real Madrid really showed they were the better side and that led to their winning. Madrid have made two important comebacks so far this season, after loosing 2:0 down the their last match against Roma and later won the match, and have once again made a comeback today against Athens which happens to be stronger than expected. It is called football, it has to be competitive and be unpredictable sometimes. AEK Athens is not a useless club as you think so they can give any club a tough time when they feel like. Today was a tough day for Real Madrid, yet they fought back. They were returning the goals back to AEK Athens without long, which proves strength as a team. If not for the equalizer delivered by Mbappe and the winner at the injury time delivered by Valverde, the match would have turned bad for Real Madrid. They held the field but that's not what to measure a winner with.

To be honest, I don't like Vinícius Júnior's performance for Real Madrid at all, Madrid could have won a match better without Vinícius, Vinícius is responsible for the second goal Real Madrid conceded today, because he could have caught the pass if he wanted to but he let it go very badly and that's where the opponent got the ball and attacked and Madrid conceded the second goal. Real Madrid have won the last four matches very well without Vinícius, but today Vinícius came into the match and Madrid was in a very bad situation today. Liverpool are just stupid, I was really disappointed in this results because I actually predicted them to either win or draw the game then the goals will be over 1.5. I was pissed off when they conceded the third goal because I knew they don't have the pressure to score another goal although Virgil had an amazing opportunity in the last play of the match to actually score but he fumbled it. Football is getting more and more difficult to predict every day, because I never expected Liverpool to lose this game.

They sort of played jokingly, but whenever AEK Athens would score a goal, they would wake up and put up their game. The substitutes who were brought in did pretty well. One thing I noticed is at one point Real Madrid may have to just let Vinicius go.
