After that, I just enjoy the match until it’s over. Besides, I only bet on matches I’m following. I really hate betting on matches I can’t even keep track of or watch at all. There is nothing actually wrong in having the mind and mentality that they are going to make profit because surely they will win but it is not certain that they must win because I have seen people that haven't made any profit since they started gambling and i think the best thing for these kind of folks or gambler to do is to stop gambling because obviously it is not meant for them. That's the point. Only bet on matches that you have a good knowledge on in order to have a good hedge to make profit. I don't bet on random games without any idea of because it will make me get angry after losing.

If l lose the game, at least I have already entertained myself with the game which will make me not feel bad towards my losses. Just like in this world cup, I might not bet on the group stage matches because I want to study the teams performance before I will start betting from the round of 16.

Nevertheless, the main purpose of tracking CLV is not to make promises of becoming rich overnight. This is just a tool that you could use to be honest with your brain and increase your edge in long run. This calculation will make you understand where your skill or edge is working and where you are just winning by the power of pure luck. That means it make you enable to separate skill or edge from variance.

If you could beat your sportsbook's closing line then in long run your EV will always be positive. However short term result may fluctuate due to luck.

I have been gambling for years now and frankly speaking i don't know whether anything called closing line exist talk more of tracking it. I don't do too many statistics when gambling, i only check few things and pick any team i feel will win the match.

Secondly, i don't track my winning nor loses, the way i gamble is very different from how others gamble. I gamble with a different mindset and with an amount or money i can afford to lose, so it doesn't matter whether i win or lose.

I don’t know if there’s any benefits of keeping track of closing line value, for me I don’t bother with it. When I check my tickets and it’s good I.e I won I cashout and if I loss the bet I immediately go on with other things I don’t keep track of anything.
