Is there any remarkable thing you have done with your gambling winning?

To be honest nowadays I have been seeing people talking much on addiction which I think is not a bad idea but a good step to draw back their attention to know when they are on their right senses or not.
To sincere, many people talks about loses but I haven’t heard them talking about what they had won through their gambling and what things they have been able to do with their gambling winnings, like during their period of gambling what have been Abel to do with the amount won so far gambling whereby you would looked at yourself and said: “If not that I placed this bet I wouldn’t had won such amount that I used in acquiring something that such person cannot never forget in their life”.

Question is that have you found yourself in such scenario before?
And if you do what can you truly boost with your life on what you had ever achieved from gambling? Here is open for much interaction and I have been focusing on our local section for a while and I decided to expand my thinking and level of reasoning to know if others are also In line on what I have in mind or not. In my case, after winning the max win in slots (Lab Lunacy) at Stake.com, which is x5000 (bet was $0.1 = $500), I withdrew a huge chunk of the winning money ($450). Left $50 to play some more. After withdrawal, I  made sure that I would buy something that would be usable long-term for the family. I bought a new mattress for me and my wife, then some items for the kitchen and the dining room.

It's not remarkable, but it's worth it. Everything that I bought was noticed by my wife, and she was thankful for it.

IMO, as much as possible, let's spend those winnings on something else. If it's important, then buy it. As long as it will help us spend the money on something better than gambling it back and losing it all again.

I have not made any significant profit in gambling till now but I once made a profit of $300 by betting on a cricket match and I could not do anything significant with that profit but I bought a bicycle for a poor boy for $150 to go to school. I am not a gambler who bets big, nor am I a gambler lucky enough to get big wins. But some of the wins I have gotten are enough to buy some better devices. I was once won more than $3500 in land base casino. Played some and then keep the majority. Spend that money having good food with my family and bought some gadget like mobile phone and gadget.

Before you could even think about doing any remarkable thing with your gambling profit you must have won such a huge profit first. You can win just a $100 and expect to do something remarkable with it. There's are gamblers that have never won close to a $100 over the long years they have being gambling and for this type of gamblers there can't be anything you would expect for them to do remarkable with the peanut winning they're lucky to get.

I don’t think I’ve ever made as much money as the examples here, because I don’t even bet enough to make that much money  . For example, to win a $1,000 mega jackpot I guess you’d have to bet at least a few thousand dollars on average, unless you’re extremely lucky.

One doesn't need to be a nerd to understand the bitcoin, the thing is almost the same as the money we currently use but with better thing called decentralization and they don't even need to understand how blockchain works and why it is not going to be hacked, and why the transactions are not reversible. Because the banking system we use is more complicated and less transparent and I would be surprised if they even understand what inflation do.

The money I won from gambling went back to gambling, the reason I said so is because I have actually lost more than the amount I won, those days in school, each time I win, I usually spend the money in the campus on school stuffs, it could be food or some other needs in school. You might probably had missed reading those threads being discussed here related to this kind of discussion.
In fact, loosing records had even more less of most gamblers concern because they don't to keep the boredom alive in their heads so they let it slide.

Winning records has been much interesting to keep for every gamblers if I am not mistaking I don't think it is clearly advisable for gamblers to keep records of their past gambling results else it could trigger mode of emotions that might wrongly be encouraging.

However, there had though been a lot of people talked about what they did with their gambling incomes which I can not go in details because i don't find it necessary to keep the records.

Throughout my gambling journey, I've hit some big wins several times, to the point that I've even lost count of them. The last major win I remember was from roulette, where I won more than $700. Unfortunately, I never saw that win as something particularly impressive. If I compare my total gambling losses with all the winnings I've collected over the years, the difference is obvious. The overall picture is very different from what a single big win might suggest.

So until now if I get a big win, I withdraw 60% and use it for vacation and 40% goes back to gambling. Nothing impressive.
