In what way can gambling be called entertainment?

Those who consider gambling an entertainment never chase the losses because for them losses are part of the game and they even enjoy losses. The ones who say gambling is an entertainment often observe gambling responsibility deeply that's why they won't lose a lot of money when they gamble because they've set limits to their spending per day or on per week basis.

I personally consider gambling as an entertainment and I kept a small portion from my earnings for it, I only gamble when I feel to gamble and that means sometimes despite having money in my casino account I don't gamble for weeks. Everyone is different, some people who gamble daily might get addicted to it but those who gamble for fun don't get addicted ever.

That is why its necessary for one to approach gambling with the right mindset because first approach really matters and it changes everything, so that even if things change, they stay with the right mindset and uses it daily for own good and this makes them to treat losses as part of them, because that way they can have the mindset that they can also lose anytime and that's why betting with what you can afford is really advisable.

Gambling is not treated as entertainment by everyone, but it depends on the individual's desire. Many consider gambling a source of income, so gambling is never entertainment for them, because they try hard to multiply their money, and gambling involves risk, which is not affordable for them. If asking, if you have to spend money on gambling, why should we consider it as entertainment? Many times, we do some gaming where we have to spend money to buy points or credits just for level boosting, from which we don't get any profit. There is a possibility of profit as well as loss from gambling, but if there is a loss in gambling, no one enjoys it; everyone enjoys the profit. If you are doing responsible gambling, then gambling will seem like just entertainment to you. Otherwise, gambling can never be entertaining for those who choose it as a means of income.

IMO, there are 2 strong basic foundations for gambling to be called entertainment, as follows:

- Not make multiple deposits in a gambling session
- Total amount of deposits made in 1 month is a maximum of 10% of monthly income

If you look at the 2 characteristics of a gambler, I can assure that they're not addicted & consider gambling as entertainment only.

Gambling is a different kind of entertainment, the kind where you can get rewarded while having the fun or even lose your money on the process, you can consider any of those cases happening but someone can actually decide for themselves how they want to treat gambling, I believe you are aware that some people take gambling as a means of making money and not for entertainment while there are also people who will take it for just fun and thrill, they don't chase after loses.

You can see very rich men, making millions from business and investments, but still gambling but they do not care about the losses because they are gambling with the money they can afford not lose.

Some people  go in to gambling because they want to make fast money, everybody doesn’t have that same reasoning. Some people go into gambling just for entertainment and fun, just the same way others also  spend money in going to cinema, watching football or enjoy other activities, that’s how gambling is. That’s why you can see a very rich man who makes millions from his  investment and his business but still is still gambling from time to time. But  the difference is that they don’t depend on gambling as a source of income. And they only use money that they can afford to lose, so even if they lose.  it won’t really affect their financial status or reduce their standard of living. So whether you are poor or rich, gambling remain an entertainment, that the house always have more advantage in long run. Rich people can see gambling as entertainment because they will never feel the pain of losses because they have already. That's just the way it is with seeing gambling as a source of income. There was even an argument between two people that I know recently about porn, it was from the argument that I noticed some people are paying for pornography. I know very well about humanizing, some people can not do without it and they pay the women money. If people can go to that extent seeing it as fun, definitely gambling will be fun to some. Some people just use gambling to pass time which is what it should be. If you've the right mindset towards making money, surely you wouldn't consider grabbling with all it's uncertainties as money making medium, you should just have fun with gambling and move ahead. In all honesty, seeing gambling as a form of entertainment does not absolutely bar or prevent you from spending money given the fact that you actually have to spend money in order to play. But what it prevents is addiction and overspending because it somehow stops you from spending above your budget.

To give you an actual example, if you view gambling as a form of entertainment, then there will come a point that you would get bored and eventually stop. It's entertainment because there's always the chance for a win. Sure, we must accept that the money we will use will definitely be gone any moment, but still, the thrill that it gives whenever we are near a chance to win something big is there. I think that's where the entertainment factor of gambling is. The thrill that it provides for the gamblers, with the hope of at least winning something. I have said this over and over again that gambling can not be called entertainment when money is involved, this automatically mean that once you stake your money betting on something to get something in return, it is no longer entertainment because emotion is attached, when you play game without Money, it can be seen as entertainment because you want to play such game and to have fun.
