I totally agree with you. That's exactly how it goes, because right now love is no longer valuable anymore, as it can never put food on your table. Without being told, we're supposed to know that marriage is a lifetime contract. Even though we often get divorced sometimes, but it's absolutely necessary for us to always make a good decision by choosing someone that wouldn't depend entirely on you every time, because things are actually getting worse every day. That's just the simple truth, nothing more than that at all.
What makes you think that choosing someone that wouldn't depend entirely on you every time is what we are ought to be looking out for when choosing a life partner? There can lots of considerations which of course can differ from one individual to another, but the fact is that the purpose of marriage can not be taken away from looking for companionship, nothing is guarantee in this life and even in marriages, what you are looking out for can happen to be temporary and when it stopped the marriage can end that's when it was not built on companionship, having a woman that is supportive financially in a man's life is good and reasonable but that doesn't mean that those men who their wife's are not supportive financially made a wrong choice.
I don't think there's much here, because what we are talking about isn't anything but a matter of decision, which you have 100% right to make on your own.
So don't get it twisted, because nobody is forcing anyone into something they don't want. It is absolutely simple to understand that marriage is a personal decision, so each and every one of us here knows the right thing to do with our lives.
