Trading is only risky, Yes that is true. It doesn't necessarily mean that once you go into it, you will lose all your money. Yes, long-term investment and holding Bitcoin is safer, but at the end of the day, nobody guarantees you anything.
If you are investing in Bitcoin, I think you can divide your portfolio, some for long-term investment and some for trading if you have the experience. Remember, the key word here is experience.
Also, note that for you to be good or better at trading, you need to be willing to incur losses at some point in time.
Where did you learn this type of trading? There are trades you will enter and you can lose everything and it's nothing other than leverage. Whether you like perpetual trades, futures, margin and other type of trades that are not spot trade, you can lose everything you have on it as long as it is not sport. You see that future, nothing scare me compared to it yet traders that does it every time and lose everything, there are many of them crying on front page of Binance.
I have never seen a person that bought the right coin and regret before. By right coin I mean Bitcoin and some top altcoins. Some alts are actually been disgraceful since the last year but I can tell you that they are better than some people that are chasing profits they will never make from the market. You see those things they show off, that's not what they trade and sometimes, they do edits pictures from real traders that show their side of winning.
