What I noticed about corruption in underdeveloped countries is the dynasty system and political patronage; people are deceived into voting for families and corrupt politicians because they are manipulated into believing that only they can help the country get out of from being an underdeveloped countries.
Its a vicious cycle, these corrupt government officials don't want educated people, because if people are educated the government cannot impose their wills and their deceptions.
Well not just families, but they’ve also formed gangs and cliques, and since they are already in power, they already have the advantage and know just how to help their members get back into office the moment they themselves have completed their tenure. And the worst part of it is that, these are all different people but with the same agenda. Politics has suddenly become a business and the country their trading ground where those in power calls the shots, makes all the decisions and the governed has absolutely nothing to do neither are they given the opportunity to say anything contrary to their agenda.
Using my country as a case study today, it's not just corruption that is the problem, but godfatherism has eaten deep into the system to the extent that no past leader is held accountable for the funds or money spent or embezzle.

You will see a governor do everything within his power just to make sure that one of his loyalist is elected into power, and agreement will be signed, that he will still have a say in the state funds, mostly for personal gain, and if that seating governor refuses, he will start using the federal government to fight the seating governor, so that he will be unable to do his job properly until his tenure expires, this shows how corruption has been normalized, which is the main reason most under develop nations are at the level they are currently.

This situation exists in many parts of the world. Countries aren't developing because their leaders are corrupt. Even countries with abundant natural resources are like this. There are always those who exploit them. Countries that could otherwise be self-sufficient are made dependent on external forces. Unfortunately we see this even in countries that call themselves democratic. You see there are elections, but the people's choices don't change anything. It's hard to break the status quo. As long as the people don't have access to enough education, the system will never change.
Excessive leader have actually impaired the development of number prosperous countries. In my opinion the key to this vicious cycle is public education. With earned education, citizens can inspire change out of their leaders. In the absence of knowledge, big changes can only be a dream of citizens who are fed up with struggle to provide the families with just life.

Nothing can be done, because they simply refuse to accept criticism and suggestions from their own people, due to their utter greed and avarice. Therefore, a country's economy is completely destroyed when it is led by corrupt leaders, government, and officials. They have no plans to develop the nation, they only plan to enrich themselves.
Your last statement “enrich themselves” is what I want to actually make more emphasis on.Firstly, most governments are bias especially in underdeveloped countries, they only care for the interest of those they are familiar with and then neglect the mass. And the painful part is that those underdeveloped countries are enriched with quality resources that would create jobs and empowerment for their citizens but the government hoard those resources to themselves and steal public funds and hide them in their foreign accounts. The system is so messed up,accountability isn’t even given at the end of day, poor infrastructure and poor electricity supply. The system is so messed up that bloody protests aren’t even looked into in other to meet up the demands of the citizens.

The problem is that those who regulate the education system remain loyal to the leader and adopt whatever style of education suits their needs. In other words they are deliberately keeping the people ignorant. They try to impose a certain order on them from childhood onward. The millions who do not question this system end up voting for the same leader again, creating a vicious cycle. An uneducated population can't even weigh what is good or bad for itself. For this reason these countries can never develop, yet their ruling elites continue to amass even greater wealth. Wake up people.

Poverty truly exists in underdeveloped countries, even though they are not, in fact, poor countries. They possess abundant resources, but a highly corrupt government makes them underdeveloped and hinders progress and development. I truly wonder how they (the government and officials) in these countries can be so greedy and greedy that they are willing to create a system that tortures and impoverishes their own people. These are truly cruel and inhumane actions and practices.

Poverty does not only exist in underdeveloped countries, but there are also people in developed country that are poor, many are even living in a shelter provided by the government, some even live in the street.  Most of this poverty is self-inflicted, only a few case where they are victims of circumstances.

The fact that even in a developing country ( the one you called underdevelop) there are still people who are living in luxury, and most are able to feed and support themselves, states that, as long as the person strives, he can at least live in a normal working class.

The government being corrupt may bring difficulty to the infrastructure and the country's economy but in personal level, it is the person who has control over his action and with patience and perseverance, he can manage his life and maintain his needs.  People become poor becaue of laziness and lack of strategy.  Illiteracy is not an excuse to not work.

The leaders are not just the problem; the major problem is the rate of ignorance among the masses in underdeveloped countries. This ignorance is a result of the poor level of both formal and informal education, which makes it easy for the leaders to take advantage of them. They exploit them in terms of taxation and still end up not providing job opportunities, incentives for business owners, basic amenities, and every other benefit they should have as taxpayers. The leaders know that the people are ignorant and therefore may not hold them accountable for not performing their duties as leaders elected to represent the people.

Resources are abundant in underdeveloped countries, both natural resources and human capital resources. All of these are either underutilized or overutilized, yet there are no results to show for it. More citizens need to be brave enough to demand accountability from those controlling their resources.

Besides the leadership or corruption there are few more reasons that faced by under developed countries. Due to Poor governance people oftenly do protest the country is encounter by protest in any part. Where people because of low education behave aggressively, try to give harm or destroy public properties. Damages to the infrastructure greatly affect the country's economy. In response government used power or force to dismiss the mob or control the situation. As a result destruction, damages, intolerance create instability that lead the under developed countries in worst or making difficult towards progress. Public always wait for the government for the welfare, while government keep themselves busy in making their own status rather focused on public interest. So in conclusion there is not single reason for struggling there is need of collective effort from both sides to make standard of life better

Education is one of the things that government controls. In the past education was actually used as a tool that, were used to regulate and colonize the rest of the society especially in colonial era. And so government takes special attention when it comes to things like education because through the tool of education government can actually successfully achieve any propaganda that they wants to spread. So the kind of people that government appointed to head education matters.

For government to successfully achieve any goal then such a government should take education seriously. The kind of education that a people have impacts on the future of any country.  Hence government should take seriously the kind of education that the citizens should have.

I will say the term poverty is a general problem that doesn't choose either to sit in a developed country or an underdeveloped country because it has its place in both nation. Just as mentioned above,  it is not only in underdeveloped countries that poverty do exist,  it is present in both countries but that of the developed countries are easily controlled because they have the resources and power to control it more than the underdeveloped countries.  Although I will say one reason it is present in underdeveloped countries is mostly because of corruption

The real extraction equipment has been laid out by the colonial powers which had planned the governance systems to do one thing. Pull resources out. That was the point. The British did not invest in railways in Kenya for Kenyans' mobility. They constructed them to transport copper to the coast. And then independence happens. The colonizers leave. The machine remains, though. You see?

So yeah, the leaders who took over became corrupt. However, they inherited a system which was optimised for theft before they ever set foot in it. I don't excuse anyone. I want to make that clear, people always hear that as an excuse.

But who are the international partners that gain from it all remaining this broken? They are never usually accused of being corrupt. They're simply "doing business".
