I think some gamblers have experienced this before. You win first, maybe a decent amount, then instead of stopping you continue playing because you feel the momentum is still there. Then slowly the profit goes down. You tell yourself just one more round, one more bet, maybe you can bring it back higher again. But in the end, you either leave with very small profit or nothing at all.
That feeling is strange because technically you had a chance to go home winning, but because you did not stop, it still feels like a loss.
Has this happened to you before? What made you continue instead of taking the profit?
Yes, it has happened to me before, specifically on dices, since it happened to me the first time I decided I would never experience something as mentally tiring again so I decided to me more careful and time the best moment for me to cash out and call it a day. It happens to the majority of gamblers at least once, because when we have a win or a good luck streak it just feels it is too easy and it feels as it is basically just free money for us to stretch our hand and take it. And anyone in such position would obviously try to get as much money as possible from what they perceive to be a good luck streak during their session. It is both a mixture of common sense and also greed taking over one's mind. Bookies and casinos know that phenomenon pretty well and they use them to enhance their profits in the long term.

Sometimes the feeling of losing a big profit hurts more than actually losing your stake. You win a good amount, but greed tells you to keep going because you think another win is around the corner. Before you know it, most or all of the profit is gone. That is why people say knowing when to stop is one of the hardest parts of gambling. Some gamblers don't leave because they are winning, they leave because there is nothing left to play with.
That's right, but gamblers should know and be ready to accept whatever outcome that gambling brings forth without feeling any kind of it, because even if they feel bad about it, there is no point in fight against them, as they will be disappointed and fighting against them will still make one to be addicted and this will also ruined their lives. So, it makes more sense if they make the right decision by engaging in responsible and right gambling, than to fight over nothing.

Just like what you describe, you wanted that one more win and tell yourself that if that happens then you gonna withdraw. But in cases that you won again, you forget everything and then continue to bet. And even if you lose but still in the profit, you think that the casino owe you that money lost. So it's a vicious cycle and probably it's our mindset to win more, or in short, we are all greedy. And when you lose everything, then you think of coming back and recouping, and that is the start of our addiction.

Yes, imagine losing $100 then a day later I used $10 to win $100, do you think I won anything, no it's just me recovering my lost money from my previous bet, the feeling is just normal, I'll not take this as winning, in reality I didn't win anything to my pocket, we have to know that not every wining is actually a win, any win that doesn't add anything to your pocket is not winning it's recovery.
You win when the amount you win is bigger than your losses, if below your loses then you win nothing, that's how to calculate your winning in gambling, you have to work with this formula and stake responsibily. Gambling is not new thing, ask those that missed you it and how their life ends

The problem is that you are already trying to recover, but you want it quick. $10 to win $100, that is already many times bigger than your capital. A realistic gambler knows the right approach. Some are even happy with 10% profit, so it is flipped now. From a $100 bankroll, they are already happy with $10 profit. Just using the figure you gave, if they are betting a decent amount, maybe $10,000 to win $1,000 profit, that is more realistic.

I have experienced gambling but not in crypto gambling, rather I have only experienced physical gambling, but I also want to try gambling in crypto gambling because we are in a new technology era now that I think I also need to evolve as a gambler, right? Regarding the question, I don't seem to notice if I have experienced those feelings before, maybe I will only know when I play gambling in the crypto space of casino gambling.

That's why it's important to be able to stop in time. It was because of such a sad experience that I learned this. It seems to me that any gambler can learn the ability to stop only from his own experience. No matter how much a person is told that it's time to leave, he will ignore it. Well, that's the way we humans are built.

I laughed as I recalled the incident you mentioned and yes, I agree that perhaps not everyone who gambles only experiences losing their winnings completely there are many others who have gone through this as well, including myself. This is something I consider quite common, so it’s no surprise that many people have experienced it in fact, they’re bound to have. For me personally, this is a funny incident when I think back on it do you think everyone feels the same way I do when recalling something like this?

This is normal for regular gambler, mostly when one will with small amount due to lack of confidence of staking higher amount while booking the bet , it will be very painful killing the joy of the wining and make the wining look as if you lost because your focus will be centered on if you hard used bigger amount what the outcome would have become as game changer which would have cover up many losses incurred in the past as regular bettor this always ring in our heart occasionally. Flashing back on my past experience where I used lesser amount unlike the way I usually use bigger amount and that very game happened to enter I was so depressed because I lost what I would have gotten after series of lossing in time past but stake with small amount that enter is more if regret of not using bigger amount than the wining to me.

I think that is not exactly what OP asked, but idea is close. I remember I was gambling and during my session I got an unpleasant phone call that ruined completely my mood. And I remember how winning did not bring any satisfaction or happiness to me. I was both winning and losing; losses were disappointing me and winnings did not bring any joy. My mind was busy thinking about something else. If I am not mistaking, I have lost my deposit that time and was kind of playing in a way to lose money. Kind of feeling when you win but wish you lose and end playing faster.

Has this happened to you before? What made you continue instead of taking the profit?
Everything is simple. People are weak, people are greedy, and people tend to exaggerate their capabilities. There is nothing new here, and everyone regularly gets under such emotions, and not necessarily in gambling. We all make mistakes, and we shouldn't judge ourselves too harshly. Having learned something from our own experience, we avoid repeating our mistakes from time to time. But those moments and those feelings of winning, and the desire for more, are so positive for us that few can stop in time. Self-education goes through several cycles in order not to be mistaken in thinking that it is simply impossible to win regularly at gambling; you just need to accept it.

Welcome to the world of gambling when you will be allowed to make small wins that will increase your confidence to think that you can make more money when you gamble more for you to lose everything you have won and even lose more money. Slot games can be very tempting ans if you aren't contented with the little you have won, you could bet more and lose everything you have.
as gamblers, there's something fundamental what we need to learn, the more you learn to understand this fundamental the better it is for your sanity, that gambling is a game of uncertainty where the player either wins or losses a gamble majorly through lucks. Meaning during gambling, there is nothing like a script that you can play to win, as things will never work straight to your assumptions rather on the basis of your script. So just do your thing and work harder on your emotions and habit rather than anything else that looks like a pure script written by you or any other person

So, it makes more sense if they make the right decision by engaging in responsible and right gambling, than to fight over nothing. Gamblers must be prepared to lose and accept it gracefully. If they react negatively to a loss, such as not accepting it, something worse could happen. The key to fighting back is emotion. We often get emotional when gambling, and that's what we must fight. So, when we win, we should be able to overcome our emotions or greed by feeling satisfied with the gamble and withdrawing our winnings. It's a feeling everyone, including me, has experienced when withdrawing a small amount after a big win. This feeling is likely felt by everyone who gambles, and there should be lessons to be learned to avoid similar experiences.

This has occurred to me several times because of taking cash out. I don't know if other gamblers do feel it but anytime I played a game sports betting to be precise and I took cash out before the end of the game due to some certain challenge and conviction and later the game ticked green at the end, I always feel so bad and angry the one I collected won't look like a won ticket even though the cash out is more than the one I didn't collect. This is the hardest and disgusting feeling someone will ever have in gambling.

Yes, as a gambler, it has happened to me many times. Maybe that is also one of the reasons why, instead of stopping, I continue to play even if I know things could go the other way if I keep going. I just think, I may have won this amount this time, but I have lost more than this before. I don't think that I'm in profit for that period of time. Instead, I think that if I hadn't gambled during that period, I would have had more money than this, so I keep chasing it, hoping to at least break even.
Since luck doesn't come often, I continue to play until I can no longer stop, and eventually all my winnings go back, or I'm left with only a small profit. The problem is that once you win, because you're feeling lucky at that moment, you try to win even more or, worse, chase your losses while thinking about "what if" situations. What if I win more? What if I get lucky this time and recover?
So, sometimes contentment is the key.
