I had such experience long time ago ,but I have learnt my lesson which cannot repeat itself again ,I was lucky enough to win instead of withdrawing and chill ,I decided to double my winning at least to win more because I was so optimistic about everything, the beginning was giving me a lot of vibes, not until I realized all the money is gone ,so as it stands now whenever I won anything I don't try again ,I continue the next day or week ,but I make sure I don't win and still be a loser ,funny I remember how painful it was for me when I had that experience.
It's good that you've learned your lesson, because even now most gamblers are still making the same mistake. However, since gambling involves money, gamblers will always make mistakes by trying to double their money. At the same time, we shouldn't take it as a source of income, because that's exactly what's affecting most gamblers even now.

Of course, when you learn from your mistake, you'll definitely stick to discipline and self-control all the time, because you wouldn't be happy to see yourself in that situation.

I'll take the feeling of what OP indicates about winning with my bets and still feeling lost. Like someone who's won and yet, have that urge to chase their losses.
What the gambler has lost is too massive or much so upon winning the small or average amount doesn't make him happy and in the mode from the person he is still at the losing side but he has to be happy that he has won percentage of his lost. It would have bad he lost that game too. One thing we gamblers have to understand is that gambling is not meant for us to win at all time but to try our luck. And in the process we lost more than the winning. And if really it is for fun. We should not bother about the losing but having the hope of winning one day. And that is why it's good to use spare funds. And not funds budgeted for a good project in the home.

But it can't be denied that thought even if a bit is recovered, there's still the sadness they feel about being not content.
Those who cannot be happy even after recovering a little bit, continue to play again. Because then it becomes necessary to recover the entire amount of their loss. And that is when the problem arises. They keep playing again and again and finally lose even the small part that they were able to recover. So it is better to be happy once some money is recovered. I have noticed many times that if you continue playing even after a big win, the money you won in a big win will eventually be lost. So when gambling, once you get a big win, it is better to stop playing like that day.

Self-greed is the problem of many. They want to earn it all at once if the opportunity arises, forgetting that it could be their downfall, to lose all they have gotten.

I have felt this way in the past, to keep gambling because I found myself lucky to win in three consecutive bets with little money, and I think of betting with big money in my fourth bet to win a bet of much more, which I lose all my previous winnings combined. That experience taught me a lesson, to learn to quit gambling on time without wasting time(whether I am winning or losing)

This will be true for those who have high control to stay aware that every win is an early warning to quit, but most people who win big feel themselves very lucky and can make even bigger.
But the reality is that it all turns around and the winnings go back to gambling and end up losing all their money.
This keeps repeating itself and the problem is in their psychology, they can't stop playing and enjoying the profits they get at the beginning.

I see huge reason in what you are saying when I compared that to my experience. Feeling unfulfilled with winnings is kind of problem that many players will not notice that is similar to how greed work. It is greed because instead of appreciating the winning gotten, the player is engrossed in regrets for not betting bigger money, and this is exactly how he will raise the bet size and possibly lose rhe money back in the process.

I think some gamblers have experienced this before. You win first, maybe a decent amount, then instead of stopping you continue playing because you feel the momentum is still there. Then slowly the profit goes down. You tell yourself just one more round, one more bet, maybe you can bring it back higher again. But in the end, you either leave with very small profit or nothing at all.

That feeling is strange because technically you had a chance to go home winning, but because you did not stop, it still feels like a loss.

Has this happened to you before? What made you continue instead of taking the profit?
That is major problem for the gamblers that sometimes they didn't know how to stop while lose or win. Usually they will feel if continue to gamble it can recover their loses or while win they feel at that time they were still lucky and gets more money but in fact, this behaviour will makes them losing all of the money.
I have to admit that this situation sometimes trapped me that while enjoying the games and gets profit usually i want more and still curious to know whether i can able to gets a lot of money or not.
But after several times faced this condition i have to says as a gambler, we should think smart and know the right moment to stop because if people can do that i am sure they can avoiding to lose more or while win they can secured decent profit.

Greed can lead you to destruction, so it is good to control your greed and gamble. But most of the time gamblers cannot control their greed by winning or losing money and as a result they face financial losses and gradually become addicted to gambling. Gambling is only for entertainment, it is not right to gamble with extra money in the hope of making quick money, it is better to gamble for entertainment with what you can afford to lose.
Yes, greed can lead to destruction, but it can also boost our hunger emotion.
What i mean is that it is good to be greedy, we just need to understand when to apply it and when to walk away.
No matter how a gambler knows how to control his or her greed, if the gambler still fails in the area of understanding their gambling psychology and bankroll management, they will still fail because having control of our greed is necessary but not enough for any gambler's long-term success.

It is good to be happy if you recover some money. But in my opinion, if a gambler thinks about recovering his money while gambling, he will face big losses. Gambling should be played only for entertainment. If we go to a picnic spot for entertainment, then an amount is spent there as entertainment free. In return, we get entertainment. Gambling should also be viewed in the same way. If we think of the money invested in betting as entertainment fee, then there will not be much difference whether we lose or win the bet. But if we think about recovering the money used in betting, then there is a possibility of losses. So I would say, thinking about recovering the money in betting is a sign of big losses.

When I was a newbie in gambling, I made these mistakes many times, like I used to gamble continuously even after a big win, because I thought that if I kept gambling, I would be able to make several times more profit. Now that I have realised myself from this mistake, if I can win big, I take a break from gambling for a few days, or I withdraw all the profits instantly, and I never gamble with the full amount of money. Because of long-term gambling, no one can make a good profit; rather, they face much bigger losses.

Greed is one of the things that makes us fail all the time. We can't generate money that way. If greed appears and we let it take over, well, that's where it all ends. We can't go beyond what we want because it's our main obstacle in everything. In light of this, we need a lot of willpower and a lot of discipline. Is it easy to achieve? Well, not really, but for that, we must gain experience and apply it.

That feeling are always there unless when someone has experienced loss after trying to raise profit only then will they be able to learn from their mistake. If not, that desire to chase more profit will never quench it's higher than thinking about the possibility of losing the money back to the casino. Some people even after their experience they still don't learn from it and from time to time they still fall victim of chasing more profit after big win.

To tell the truth, I have never felt like this because I have been gambling for a long time and I keep a limit and fortunately I can win the maximum time and withdraw the money along with the profit. That is why when I win, I never think or feel that I have lost. However, such a feeling can happen to those who actually lose regularly and have lost a lot of money in gambling, even if they win occasionally, they will not be able to satisfy them because the win is very insignificant compared to the amount they have lost before. They still continue gambling because they have a hope that they can win a big jackpot from which all their previous losses will be recovered and they can suddenly become rich. The matter is completely emotional. However, to tell the truth, I have never felt like this, rather when I win, it satisfies me and I happily withdraw the money from there.

And one crazy fact about greed is that, the more you win, the more you still wanna win more, because no win is ever enough for a greedy fellow. And for some, it’s not actually greed but the inability of letting go off past losses and thus the will to recover those previous losses. The moment a gambler allows himself to walk that path, they’ll wanna use every single opportunity to regain previous losses, which pushes them not to regard or appreciate whatever amount they win, since it’s not always enough to cover the previous losses.
