Is the phone number for registration mandatory or there is a way around it? For privacy I prefer to register with just email addresses on a casino which I find easier to manage for different casinos.

I also tried to create an account here but when I saw that phone number was required, I left without creating an account because from a privacy perspective, it is better not to use a personal phone number.

I see some casinos have same registration information but it's optional like you can register your account with either a phone number or an email address. The phone number can be in account security and you can turn it on if you want or just ignore it.

With Rizzy, it's mandatory because registration requires both email address and a phone number but generally for privacy of users, I agree with suggestion to remove this mandatory information.

However, is this requirement related to the casino license and AML?

Strange if they do not disclose the wagering requirement of the bonus, it is like a trap if the wager requirement is disclosed once a player activate the bonus. Unless, the wagering is somehow dependent on the amount you deposit, but that should also be clearly stated somewhere in the rules.

What disappointed me is that once the bonus was activated, I couldn't cancel it anymore and my balance got mixed with the bonus balance  . According to support, if the bonus expires the entire balance could expire too since it's all treated as one balance now. So it's better to not play with bonus I guess and now I wait if it's true if my balance will be gone if the bonus expired, hope they will bring that feature soon so players able to cancel their bonus if they want to.

It wasn't a very good first impression or experience for me and it will definitely be my last time playing here unless they change the system.

Their bonus ToS and their general ToS doesn’t indicate the wagering requirements which should be disclosed already there if their intention is to be transparent.

I doubt there’s a miscommunication here or else the support will just redirect user to check on the bonus TOS for the details. I ask the support again and she gave the same response.

Normally, wagering requirements on welcome bonus is the most ridiculous among all type of bonuses.

The phone number for registration is mandatory. If we don't fills, we can't continue the process, I tried to register without filling the phone number but it said Field Required.

We hope they remove the phone number during registration, I also not feels comfortable filling my phone number just for gambling. But I guess we can use disposable number which we can search on search engine.

Here's the issue, not showing the wager requirements before depositing is more like you  paying for what you have no idea what it looks like. This is worse because you might end up making payment and see that the wagering requirements are too high which would discourage you from pushing any further to get it. They either reduce it or they put it in a way that the wagering should be in consonants with the deposit so that one can still be able to partake in the bonus.

Most of the casinos have high wager requirement on their bonuses and I didn't get surprised seeing this implemented on their casino.

But who knows maybe they might try to do some changes, especially if many people will suggest to lower down their wager requirements. Somehow many people like to see that happening, since their bonuses will be appealing if people feels that there's a chance for them to win something from them. Maybe 20x requirements is fine, although this is high but I think tolerable for lots of gamblers here.

It's probably part of the regulation they are under. It is not uncommon for casinos to ask for a phone number during registration. From my point of view, they are pretty up front about their KYC(at least compared to casinos that claim to be a "no-kyc" casino). I mean, they never claimed to be a "no-kyc" casino, and if you look at their terms and conditions, it is stated what a gambler should do when registering.

I agree with you; it's better to have prior notice about the KYC for a gambling site rather than asking for it later. That means users will know from the beginning they have to go through the KYC process, which means if they don't like KYC or using mobile numbers, they would simply skip it and move forward to another gambling platform.

I have to say that this brings few red flags;
First the casino reveal the wager requirement once it is activated only, secondly is that there is no option to cancel the bonus once it is activated.
Why they do not learn from the other existing casino about how similar bonuses works?
Anyway while it is already disclosed, so the wager requirement is 40x but I still wonder, how much is your deposit?
Just wanna make sure whether the 40x is applied to the bonus only or it is applied to deposit+bonus which make it 80x.

You're right cause I've confirmed it, I thought it was optional but noticed that I couldn't register without a phone number, well I managed to register but I think the owners of the site should consider making it optional cause from the comments here, many people are more concerned with privacy and won't want to expose such information online. Another thing is the mandatory facial verification process, verifying the email and number is enough, some people could consider email and phone number but not that cause of privacy, if they want more customers from this forum they'll have to reconsider some policies cause there are other casinos that are reputable who doesn't request for such, potential customer from here would stick with them than perform facial verification with Rizzy.com, Welcome anyway.
