I do not need to wait for that long. The property that I bought way back in 2018, worth around $62,000 is now at around $116,000. Bitcoin was around $17,252 that time. Now, fast forward, how much is Bitcoin now? How many times has Bitcoin increases from 2018?
The property I bought doubled in price today, but if I put it on bitcoin that time, I could have multiplied the fund 7.3x. In calculation, it is obvious that Bitcoin value growth is much faster than real estate.
You may be right that the value of Bitcoin increases faster than real estate in most cases . But I think this comparison is somewhat biased and not fully objective comparison You cannot rely on the growth of a specific house to represent the overall growth of the entire real estate market. Each property has a completely different location, liquidity, and potential. A house in the center of a major city can double, triple, or even quintuple in value in just a few year. Meanwhile, real estate in other more remote areas will experience slower growth rates. It make sense when you say that different real state location have different growth patterns, but I would like to see the data where real state overshadow the growth of Bitcoin over the past years? I believe, if we are talking about value growth in numbers, it is best to give statistics rather than just stating some general sentences. I believe that real estate growth is very stable but in sense of which one is faster as of today from 10 years ago, I have never heard or read of a real estate outperforming Bitcoin price growth.

If I a t chase between Buying Bitcoin and building a rental apartment, I will definitely chose Bitcoin over real estate at any time and day, this is because with experience I know the risks that both investment exposes you to as an investor.
So for peace of mind and privacy, Bitcoin is a quiet and low way to build wealth over the time and with no one knowing what you are up to since privacy is the central focus of Bitcoin.

Privacy does not always mean that you're up to something meaningful, some people can be private and then keep themselves away from opportunities, this is why somebody may be investing in Bitcoin but still at the end of the day end up not as wealthy as someone who invested in real estate. The smart thing that you can do for the two investments is that you can have both of them if it is possible for you That way, you're able to secure your future on both fronts.

However, the risks of investing in btc are certainly greater than those of real estate because we don't know what will happen to bitcoin in the future. Real estate, on the other hand, carries less risk, and there's certainly potential for profit. Essentially, with high risks and high returns, small risks also have small returns. So, in terms of returns, investing in BTC is certainly more profitable than real estate, especially if you hold your BTC for more than 10 years

It's very inaccurate to compare real estates, gold and Bitcoin in ROIs in a single year or a short period of time. Because all such assets have their different market cycles which are shorter or longer, and if people simply pick one year and these asset's ROIs for comparison, gold or real estates can have better ROIs than Bitcoin has because throughout that chosen year, Bitcoin likely is in a bear market while gold and real estates are in their bull market with their new market cycles. To be fair, I do not think real estate is riskier than Bitcoin when comparing the two. I also do not think anyone would choose bitcoin because it offer peace of mind or privacy. The truth is that bitcoin offer faster and higher returns than real estate. Another reason is that investing in Bitcoin is easier because it does not require a large initial capital. With Bitcoin, we can start with just $10, $100 or $1000, but that is not possible with real estate.

I think both will end the same in the end, and probably real estate will win. I am not saying Bitcoin will collapse or something bad about Bitcoin. I am a fan of Bitcoin, that's why I am here. Real estate prices are driven by supply and demand too, just like Bitcoin. In an emerging area, the price of cheap real estate will grow fast exponentially. And after it hits a certain level, the price growth becomes slower or just gets stuck.
The same will probably happen with Bitcoin. Bitcoin may still outperform real estate in pure percentage gains because it is arguably still in an early stage. IMO, it probably will keep rising until it reaches a certain level, then gets stuck or grows slower. Now we see BTC prices can pump/dump like 3-6% a day. Before, we saw it being more volatile. There will be one day where the regular (normal) daily price change is only 0.1-0.3%. And at that level, will people still be interested in Bitcoin when Bitcoin itself is not a primary need yet, unlike real estate which is backed by a basic human need like housing?
What people can probably do is change their strategy. From just buy-hold-sell to using it as a productive asset like real estate investment, which institutions already did. They use BTC as collateral to fund their business or buy more BTC.

Having both will ensure our future will be bright i mean, whether it bitcoin or real estate have through an the inflation but every years the value of these investment instrument is never lost it's value but if we talking about which are the most profitable between them i would answer based on the condition in my country.
In my country especially in some luxury places, the price of property can increase approximately 20% per years but the good thing is when you have the property people will haven't the experience bear market like bitcoin which mean having property will guarantee the value of your investment will be increase without faced downtrend like bitcoin
But in my opinion although the fluctuative is still the biggest problem for bitcoin but, bitcoin as future asset potentially will be massive adoption especially in my country so, that's why rather than compare bitcoin to other asset i think it's better to having all of them in our investment portfolio.

Depending on the country and how you will maintain your property to make all the repairs and maintenance to the bare minimum. Also, there’s taxes and possibly force majeure that will bring your investment to financial devastation like in my country Philippines which has a lot of storms and poor flood control.
For me, Bitcoin is the solid winner in the long run because it doesn’t have maintenance cost and taxes(in my case) unlike real estate.
Real estate is only good if you can generate profit like renting that covers proper maintenance, taxes and profit since it’s value is truly increasing too just like Bitcoin.

For me, it would depend on the amount I have for the investment. If the amount is not good enough to get me a good real estate property that I believe can get me a good returns when I sell it back or even if I rent it out, then it doesn't make it a good choice to go with real estate and it will be better to buy Bitcoin with the amount and keep holding. For example, if I only have $10k or even $20k for the investment, I don't see it being a good option to invest that amount in real estate even if I manage to find a property that I can get in this amount because the property won't be able to get me good returns and Bitcoin will probably manage to get me better returns on this amount.
However, if the amount is a bit high, good enough to get me either one or more properties in locations where I know I'm going to get good profits after a few years when I decide to sell the properties, or if I rent them out, I should get good enough money for a decade or so that can compete with the percentage of profits I can possibly get if I invest the money in Bitcoin. Real estate is one of the best investment areas in the world because it's a growing market, but it's only for those who have sizeable amounts to invest, and Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are more suitable for those who doesn't have much money to start.

Unlike real estate devastation, Bitcoin investment losses is just a paper loss if you will just hold. Perfect example is how Michael Saylor still gets huge profit despite losing big time on the last bear market.

Bitcoin wins in scarcity, auditability, security, liquidity, transparency, privacy, immutability and hardness. It also has added features like sovereignty, open-source, decentralization, transparency, resistance to censure, divisibility, transportability and programmability.
Real state only partially wins in tangibility, but it does have the biggest feature; you can live in it.

I don't want to compare the two because Bitcoin and real estate are industries with different target markets, so the best choice will depend heavily on each person's investment goals and preferences. If you were to ask me, I'd probably choose Bitcoin because it's more accessible and less complicated if you want to get involved in the real estate industry. As for which is the most profitable, I think it varies from place to place, as we can't compare property market conditions in every region. So, this is a fairly difficult question to answer definitively.

In my opinion, the returns from investing in BTC with real estate are greater than those from investing in BTC because btc consistently experiences significant increases, and the returns from real estate are certainly not as high as those from investing in btc
However, the risks of investing in btc are certainly greater than those of real estate because we don't know what will happen to bitcoin in the future. Real estate, on the other hand, carries less risk, and there's certainly potential for profit. Essentially, with high risks and high returns, small risks also have small returns. So, in terms of returns, investing in BTC is certainly more profitable than real estate, especially if you hold your BTC for more than 10 years
Now i might say you basically have even nailed the core trade-off now i want you to see it as the high risk,the higher the return vs low risk, lower return and it really going to be a lot smart pick for a lot of people like me hopefully if i was in such position to pick what to invest, but the question i might want to ask is that what is that bad if one has the potential to both invest in bitcoin and same as assets, Historically from what i have heard 2011 the CAGR of Bitcoin was massively insane which that should not be completely comparable to any assets as of that time, like having to be hodl for like 10+ years through every bull runs and volatility which it has even paid 100x to investors who hodl till now.

For example, if you buy bitcoin during a downturn and sell it near the top of a cycle, you can use part of those profits to invest in real estate as well.That said, owning a large amount of real estate often requires significant management and maintenance. Properties need to be monitored, maintained, and administered, which can create additional expenses and challenges.And that brings us to what I see as the main disadvantage of real estate it is simply not as easy to manage and maintain as bitcoin.

Having a property on the tourist site is highly profitable. Some areas are bad for real estate investment. Properties in those areas don't appreciate as fast due to several factors. Based on my experience, Bitcoin has created more wealth for me than real estate. The properties I got in my country have not brought higher returns than my Bitcoin turnovers. However, I know some real estate investors who made more money from building than they would have made if they bought Bitcoin with the same amount.

Well i think i agree with your point, the comparison between bitcoin and real estate is subjective, it depends on the angle we are looking at it from because both of them are very valuable assets, there are locations that if anyone should invest a huge capital into in terms of real estate he/she will really make a lot of profit in a couple of years because real estate appreciates over time, however, on the other hand bitcoin has changed a lot of persons life due to its rapid acceptance and excess value that have been placed on it over time, any one that invested in between some years back would have also made remarkable profit. To me i feel that investment is completely based on individual preference if both assets are in the scope for comparison, another thing that should influence our choice of which amongst the two to go for will also depend on the kind of investment we want, is it a long or short term investment, personally i will go for bitcoin because i feel bitcoin has few edge over real estate like; 1. Bitcoin cannot be affected by natural disaster like fire earthquakes etc, on like real estate that a property can completely be burnt down and lost. 2. Bitcoin is easily transacted on like real estate that comes with a lot of agents/lawyers and middlemen. 3. Bitcoin doesn’t need so much work from the owner to influence it’s value, it is independent, all the investor needs is to check the market trend and know the exact time to transact but in the case of real estate the investor has to put in a lot of work and even service the properties most times so they can remain new and marketable.

They are both good assets with good value, but comparing the two, Bitcoin is more valuable and is a good store of value. When we talk about store of value, most people usually think it is all about value, but it's not only that; it also has to do with the safety of having an asset. When considering an investment, you shouldn't just think about value; other factors should be considered as well. You can acquire landed property, but later on, it is possible for the government to claim it for different reasons. If you understand Bitcoin very well and hold it in a self-custodial wallet while protecting the private keys, the profit from this investment will be massive. Let's use the time when Bitcoin was created as an example. Imagine an investor who bought 1 BTC during the early days and is still holding it to this moment, compared to someone who acquired landed property that is still available at this time; the profit from both assets won't be the same.
