I am  also a very die hard fan of Lionel Messi, and in this post, you were making a lot of sense until you began or started saying that there will never be any player in the world better than Lionel Messi, this is absolutely a very wrong thing to say because Lionel Messi is not God, he is the best football as of today and I understand, but never make such statement that there will never be any greater footballer in the world, saying things like this is outright disrespect and disregard for the future and coming generations.

Algeria failed to withstand the pressure of Argentina, we can’t even compared the performance of both sides, yet some people think Messi can do this against every team he plays against in this World Cup. This is just an over hyped in my opinion, Ronaldo scored a hat trick in the 2018 World Cup against Spain, and nobody hyped him the way they are hyping Messi just because he scored a hat trick in the first game of the World Cup.

However, Leo Messi broke the record to be become the oldest player to register a hat trick in a single World Cup. Mbappe also did the same thing in the 2022 World Cup final against Argentina, and the internet does not hype him this way. It is difficult to tell what kind of people are worse in the modern world, whether it is fans of singers, bands, movie stars, influencers, sport players or some other famous type of personality. They are integrating a meaningless thing, the act of idolization itself, into their own personal identity because their life is shallow and empty, that is why they want to artificially add value in ways that do not work. Of course he is overhyped, he is a bland and boring player even if he may be currently the best. The magic is not always found in the stats. If you keep focusing on numbers then you are missing out on what real soccer is, similarly players do the same mistake with being focused on the cost of some transfer. How much a player is worth on the market is also meaningless. The days of real magic in soccer are in the past.

To me Messi is not over hype, he just knows how to handle the ball better when he is with it and that says it all at his age and he is doing marvelously well on the pitch.

I thought that the World Cup 4 years ago in Qatar was his "last dance" and the last chance (which he used) to win the world championship title, but his performance at this World Cup thrilled me again and now it no longer seems impossible to me that Messi will lead Argentina to a second consecutive world championship title.
His biggest competitor will again be Mbappe with France and I think that their match could again decide the world champion but also the title of the best footballer of all time because 2 world championship titles will probably be the decisive factor in all discussions about the football GOAT.

This point you made here will be the reason why I won't have anything much thing to say here until we see the best of mercy in this FIFA world cup, of course mercy and Ronaldo has created history in football sphere but what I don't like doing is eye service, the world is very much fresh and there are a lot to come.
