Ronaldo will be good if his team plays to his tune but when the players choose to do it without his style of play you'd see him struggling on the field of play, like I said before he got lucky to have those goals, if he had been up to speed I believe he would have scored more than those two goals but bro is getting slower by the day. Honestly, Messi is truly amazing and is playing brilliantly again at this World Cup.
I thought that the World Cup in Qatar was his "last dance" and that after that long-awaited World Cup title he would retire from the national team and professional football, but he continues to play at the highest level and is almost single-handedly leading Argentina, with his 5 goals so far, to a new title.
If he manages to win a second World Cup title, he will become the greatest legend in the history of football, but I can already see his successor, Mbappe.

Anything is possible in football, but I don't think Ronaldo has much chance of catching up to Messi in terms of goals. Of course, I'd like their probably last World Cup rivalry to be as spectacular as possible, but these first matches for Portugal have shown that they don't have much chance of staying in the tournament for long.

A 48 team tournament. So you get these early games which have a very wide difference in quality. Then it suddenly comes to the end. Everyone you play in a round of 32 knows how to defend.
