Oh my God I can feel your pain. If you got 10 out of 11 picks right, there’s absolutely nothing you could have done about this betting slip. I don’t know what you bet on the Brazil game, but Brazil lost that match entirely because of their own mistakes. It was more likely that they would have scored the first goal and more, but they just couldn’t find the back of the net. It's sad to lose a bet that was so close.

My gambling experience this year even though I didn’t lose a lot of money, was still a learning experience. It was good to stop every now and then, take a look at where I stood.

My bet on Brazil was over 1.5, which simply means that brazil will score more than 2 goals in the match, but unfortunately, they ended up scoring only one goal and this is why this bet was lost, assuming Brazil had a second goal which managed to end the match in a 2:2 draw, I would have won the bet along with the other 10 matches that won and I would have walked away with a cool over a thousand dollars because I placed the bet with $2 dollars.

What is most painful with this loss is that I was made a very good cashout offer (about $300), though not close to the potential winning but I refused to take the offer because I was kind of sure the bet would end in my favor, I was greedy I accept, but who wouldn't choose a thousand plus, compared to just about three hundred?

I don't remember all of that, because nothing really amazed me. There is only one thing I can be proud of right now, even though it might seem ordinary to some of you. The fact is, I still have 100% win rate on the bets I placed during the world cup. None of my picks were wrong, that means I was happy at the expense of your disappointment regarding the Brazil & Norway match. I’m sorry about that, if I had the choice, I think it would have been better for me if Brazil had won, so that the win with those 522 odds could have become a reality.

So far this year I'm afraid I haven't won any big wins, neither in casinos nor in sportsbooks.

Perhaps the one which have given me the most potential profit are sports bets: I remember losing a couple of bets in the last minutes of stoppage time of a match, and a few parlays by very few misses.

However in casinos I would say that the big prizes were always far away, and the money back didn't even give me enough to recover and play a little longer.

But this is pure chance, the first semester has been like this, the next one may be just the opposite. And deep down I don't care too much, as long as it entertains me and allows me to keep dreaming of the day when I could get the victory of my life.

How much did you bet in total this year?

My main focus was on sports betting too. I also had some good wins on multibets or parlays, mostly 8-20 odds. However like you I also had some serious heartbreak after missing a few bets for a short time. And lately I have been playing casino or slot games very rarely. In fact these are mostly played by teenagers. The variance is much higher there and the house edge also creates a lot of pressure for me.

Anyway, overall I am in a small profit but nothing life-changing . I did not have to face any big losses because I had strict bankroll discipline. Hopefully the rest of the year will be better especially with World Cup quarter-finals coming up.

I don't play those slot games or any casino original games because I think house is always going to win against me and it's better to not waste money on such games.

I place sports bets and I play online Poker, and to be honest, I haven't made much profit this year, I'm very sure I've faced minimum losses but when it comes to profit I have not made any profit this year.

But, still we're in the middle of the year and if things go well then I expect some good profits from sports betting and from Poker, but again those will happen if my luck favors me.

I must say I play for fun and enjoy the games that I play and sometimes even if I lose my bets I still don't get sad because for me gambling is an entertainment, I never considered it as a source of income and I'll never consider it that way in future.

I decided to limit the rate at which I gamble this year and that has really helped me a lot which I think is the best thing that I have done for myself in order to cut down losses financially. if you dont wants to involve yourself in gambling expensive, do well to know your limits in gambling, because if you gamble and lose and decide to pursue your losses...It will make you to lose more..what gambles dont know is that, when you began to lose in gambling do not be curious to win, but most of the gamblers do be curious to pursue their losses...

Of course, It is not right to be overconfident in betting because the outcome cannot be confirm, either a win or a loss can happen. I do not do any calculate but I am a very good gambler not because I am winning high amount of money but because I am only losing small amount of money if I am losing. Right now I do not know if I am in profit or loss because I am not counting it but if I use high amount of money I will probably know. Disappointment is something very common in this sports betting industry, not just this World Cup. All games have always been hard to predict, but we just have to still try our best and see what we can achieve by putting our skills to work and not putting our entire hope and expectation on the game as it's entire on us to make the call, sometimes we get it right other times we still lose and accept it the way we see it if you are lucky to be on the profiting side that's good thing to celebrate.

This is a very good decision, and it is the same decision I made this year. I have really reduced my limit in gambling, and I haven't been gambling regularly like the previous year, which has allowed me to save a good amount of money.

Not bad actually, I made some profits but I also incurred some losses as well but one thing I have learnt to do is to learn from my mistakes and try to be better. Frequently checking your losses quite effective alert to gambler. Quitting the gambling industry when you realize you're losing is very smart move. It is not necessary to strangle yourself into playing anymore when it must end with disappointment. The person should opt to lead a peaceful life as opposed to being overcome with the constant wolf of gambling.
