first half of the Year, what is your experience with gambling and or betting?

Exactly, this year's World Cup has really gone beyond prediction, with the way big teams are getting stuck with smaller teams, any strategy is getting beaten. Brazil lost to Norway yesterday, which I honestly didn't expect. Portugal lost today, although I was able to predict it to some extent. In fact, the world of sports has now become such that at the end of the day, performance on the field is the last word. Nothing is 100% certain in gambling or betting. However predicting the quarter finals will be a little easier, hopefully because we already have some idea about the performance of the quarter final teams.

Brazil, yes it was an unexpected result, but Brazil played poorly from the very beginning of the match, although I expected a completely different game from them. And for the Portugal-Spain matches, Spain were the favorites for me, but at the end of the match I already had big doubts that Spain would be able to win, and I thought that this match would end 0-0. Such difficult matches as Portugal-Spain, it is always difficult to determine who will win. And matches with favorites have always been simpler. But at the World Championships, much more sensational results happened than anyone could have expected.

I didn’t have a very good time in this first half of the year, it was a terrible time, I lost so much money while trying to gamble, my loose was greater than my winnings, but I have to accept my looses and keep going, not like I haven’t won gambling, but some looses are something that I would say it’s completely out of my control.

Personally for me i decide to stepped back little from gambling in this year 2026 since i loss so much in gamble in the past few years. Although it wasn't  easy in my decision but I have no choice but to limit myself so as to stay balanced in my finance. However, my decision in backing off gamble has earned me so much and I can actually figured out some tangible things I have achieve with my live in just within this time frame I stood back. Maybe, this was the boldest move I made and I'm not regretting it.

This year, I had a different resolution. I decided to completely avoid casino games, and I’ve been fairly successful at sticking to that so far. Also, whenever I bet on sports events, I make sure to do proper research before placing any bets.

That was the plan, and now that we are halfway through the year, I’d say I’ve done pretty well. I did lose a significant amount in the Indian Premier League final, but that’s acceptable. Before that loss, I had made good profits during the Cricket World Cup. So, overall, I’m still in profit and have a positive bankroll. So yes, so far, this year has been quite good and rewarding for me.

I least gambled this year than other years, we are just half of the year and this has been my experience, I don't know if it will change before the year finalize but my overall experience has been great. Being on the profitable side might not be the case for me, I can't tell without checking my records, but I've conveniently lost money, but also gained a few times.

Its kinda same experience with you but I can count how many times I gamble since the beginning of the year till now and that its because I don't want to lose so much money as I did the previous years, which make me to have a terrible experience and I hope I will just maintain till habit until the end of the year, also with the way the matches are going makes it difficult for me to bet any game which I might even be able to win.

Apart from the money I made from world cup matches I am having a hard time going back on online casino right now due to personal problems and so far I can't say that it's been a worse experience yet.

That's a good one, because stepping back makes you stronger and helps in preventing some errors that will make which might not be useful to your life. And in order for one to sustain responsible gambling, they had to walk away when they are not having fun when gambling, that's doesn't mean its a sign of weakness but it shows how important your mental wellness is to you, as it helps you to manage your bankroll and stay with your limits.

Though i don't have any screenshot to display here but I would say I don't really make any profit on the first half of this year 2026. I was very active on soccer when season was on , and sometimes I make profit, sometimes I record wins too, but in summary, I have lost more than I have won. In this 2026 world cup tournament, am not really active, and if am not mistaken, I have just gambled like once or twice on the 2026 world cup tournament, and it didn't end up successfully. However, we are about entering another soccer season which might likely begin from August which is the second half of the year, and I believe the second half of the year 2026 might be more positive because the gambling approach this time is likely going to change.

Sincerely it’s not actually that easy because things aren’t moving the way it should be but I believe that when you have the necessary luck while gambling definitely there would be a winning, but if you’re not lucky enough then you would keep losing, that is why most time it’s always advisable not to Chanel our efforts on gambling with the hope that we would win something very special from gambling.

My gambling experience so far has been pretty boring. Maybe 2026 won't be my lucky year. I'm mostly losing small amounts and I'm still waiting for a decent win. I will return to sports betting after the end of the summer and  I'm not interested in betting on the World Cup matches.
My primary gambling experience is related to some low IQ games like crash, blackjack and plinko and things aren't going well. I've played a game of plinko on a famous crypto website(not a crypto casino, it was more like a GPT crypto platform) and the plinko game seemed rigged. Yes, im also something in between on which nothing spectacular or something that would be destructive when it comes to winnings or losses. This is what i do experience year by year on which I say that it is good because I do able to maintain up my sense when it comes to control and moderation on which this should really be on how gamblers handling out their gambling activities. Now im still on the middle ground or level when it comes to winning and losing. I do make use of some weekly budget whenever I do tend to make up some betting on sports and a mixed up of some casino games on which I do find it just that fine because im not really that go beyond within my budget and thats something the best thing. Yes I completely agree with you and I have also been very disappointed and lost money betting during the World Cup. I don't bet much and I bet on matches where the chances of winning are somewhat higher. The biggest loss I have faced was the match between Brazil and Norway. During this match I thought there would be a lot of competition but the result would be Brazil winning, but the match ended up with Norway winning and in the end I lost money. But I didn't bet beyond my means.

This is the best decision that you make for yourself if you do not want it to lead to addiction. I have had this experience before in gambling in the past and I think I was even addicted. What I did was that I stopped gambling for a long period of time. Probably this is the reason now that I do not gamble frequently. Also now if I lose in gambling, the less I will gamble.

A cut 1 ticket can be very painful to when it was more than 1 leg that had to damage a ticket. I have been there many times before and I understand. Brazil killed many tickets with this game they lost to Norway, many sports betting gamblers where using old time sentiment to select Brazil to win over Norway.

This is what is called safe control because it is not everybody that can make decisions and stand by it, keep note of how you have been losing and coming up with such decision that you want to take it gradually so that you don't lose more is the best way to combat what is close to happening when it has not occured, some people may not understand this, steping back a bit is not going out totally, what you did is like taking a break to watch how things will look like, of course one can not regret any bold step taken to put things on track, for me, I'm still active because whatever amount I lose is what I can afford, so it does not stress me or worry me in any way.
