Just like you, I lost my parlay because one of the teams I picked lost, I thought that team would win easily because they performed really well in the last tournament and the favorites, but things didn't turn out the way I expected. Its kinda same experience with you but I can count how many times I gamble since the beginning of the year till now and that its because I don't want to lose so much money as I did the previous years, which make me to have a terrible experience and I hope I will just maintain till habit until the end of the year, also with the way the matches are going makes it difficult for me to bet any game which I might even be able to win.

I decided to relax a bit and enjoy the game without anything at risk, it's been good too but as the season is fast approaching, I may decide to change my decision, if only if my club should improve, last season was terrible and I didn't enjoy watching them or tried to risk a few bucks on them.

So far, I thinking I have lose more than I won, the problem is that I always lose the games I'm more confident on, there was this parlay I lose last month, I was only upset because I actually had my instinct telling me to remove one game and then stake on the code again but I ignored that thought and at the end it was that game that caused lose that bet. I've had a good first half of the year in betting so far, because the World Cup is the moment I've been really looking forward to. The thing is, I'm not going to bet on every match like an expert, but rather bet modestly on a small number of matches with high odds. I won't bet on Argentina or France throughout the tournament because I've seen many lose after drawing with Cape Verde and Argentina. But I like betting on Norway, especially when I backed them against Brazil.

Honestly I have not had any personal experience on gambling nor on betting till date but I will give betting a try someday, i have been active here for quite sometime now and it is really fun being here learning from different stories or others experiences which can help others avoid such mistakes in the future, one important thing I learnt about gambling and betting is that before a person starts he should be mentally stable to withstand any outcome also another is having a budget planned out so we don't end up bankrupt or indebt, playing and withdraw from the game for some period of time is important to prevent addiction.i have learnt and will I implement soon!

Whenever I feel like there is this addiction growing, like I can't wait until I gamble again, I stop cold turkey. And yes it is very difficult so I understand people who fail to do it, there is nothing wrong with that. But that doesn't mean that we are going to end up seeing everyone fail, some  of us achieve it.

So my suggestion is, before it becomes too late, I think we should realize that we are going to make a lot more profit by just stopping and not continue, that would be a lot better.

My experiences have been series of ups and down, wins and loses, but my greatest positive is ability to keep to my budget until now. I don't necessarily play slots. I prefer crash games to it but I spend about 80% of my deposits on sports betting. As expected, sports betting has given me my biggest wins of the year, not a very huge sum but something tangible and I don't think I'm in net loss. I'm still somewhat around 15% profits from my last assessment of my losses and wins. I'm still chasing it and hoping to get something better before the end of the year while having my fun.

When come to sport betting one efforts actually matters , what means is that one ability to research and stuff , to know the performance of a particular team. But still doesn’t guarantee steady wins because gambling is all about wins and loses .

But base on what you said your gambling habit not that bad to be able to keep track of your wins and loses is already a sign of responsible gambling habits .

It is really painful to miss out big parlays at last minute. That Brazil vs Norway incident was really painful! In sport betting, it is not just about research, you need to be lucky enough.

From my own experience, I have had some good win in sport betting on some matches that I have researched properly. However like any serious bettor, I have had more small loss than big win. I actually prefer to play games where I can use my analysis and knowledge.

Gambling is great pastime for me. I never consider it as source of income or a means of earning. Even if I do not get any big win, my betting experience has always been positive due to strict discipline and realistic thinking.

I'm not saying it was a terrible experience, but it wasn't a particularly good one either. It was so-so so far, and thankfully, it didn't stress me out, as I didn't feel like I was spending that much money to maintain my gambling.

I think that gambling and betting are the same thing although gambling is mostly useful for casinos and then betting is used when you are playing sport betting. I also have had a good year while gambling but did not have a good record so far in the World cup games because the games are kind of different from how it used to be in the previous World cup of years. First we had a lot of goals this year and I did not see that coming as it was not easy to have correct prediction with score line but only got to predict the team that is going to win. Spain versus Cabo Verde was a big shock to me as there was no goal in that match and also they drew which many people did not see that coming and I also did not make a good profit from that game. Portugal versus DR Congo was a match that did not give me what I expected and I can list many other matches that did not favour me which was bad but let's see how other games will play out.

Well, it's actually good because I saved a lot of money and now I can afford to bet on any other sport that I know. Although I am not a good casino player but sportbet player. I have had couple of game I played and lose but one of them struck me so hard that I couldn't believe. I played sportbet accumulated parlay game that I almost won a huge amount, I have already started planning on how to spend the money and how far it will take me, but all of a surden it cut at the last minute. I was so angry because I knew how far the money Would have covered but unfortunately I have already lost it, I just picked courage and forget about it, knowing that a game is just a game, and I can not put hope in a game that has not played yet. Ever since then, I have not played a serious game.

I didn’t have a very good time in this first half of the year, it was a terrible time, I lost so much money while trying to gamble, my loose was greater than my winnings, but I have to accept my looses and keep going, not like I haven’t won gambling, but some looses are something that I would say it’s completely out of my control.

That's so funny, but its good you made a good point, instead of losing what you can't afford to lose, its more better to stay back and watch how everything goes and how is going to end. Well, I hope the new season favours you since it doesn't in the last season,  but I will advise you to ensure you observe responsible gambling even though your club might be doing good, as anything can still happen just for you to be more at the safer side and to keep enjoying the game as it didn't last season.

What you expressed right here is exactly what I hate the most about the word "almost", I believe that a failure is a failure, almost is present in every failed attempts, you are even suffering yourself if final results isn't out and you are already emphasising on it.

I don't want to be the man in such position again, because it hurts so badly, I was a victim too, I lost everything that I've already made from past investment, yours is gambling, mine already has a balance that's good enough.

You remind me of myself. I also did not previously believe that gambling could win anything and generally considered all casinos to be a way to deceive people. But after reading here on the forum from people I trusted to some extent that they had some success, I still tried; moreover, I involved my friends in the games, and now we can call ourselves a casino company from time to time. Have they been successful? Of course, there are some sums that suddenly fall on your head, but they cannot be called a lot of money, and all winnings are almost always very easy to squander, since I believe that such money is easily won so that it can be easily spent.

The first two or three months of the year, I was winning games but as the World Cup started and I started betting, things became bad for me therefore the overall experience in the first quarter of the year, I am still at the losing side and I don't know what will happen in the second half of the year.
