Yes accident can happen to any person and it's not something that is planned or expected to happen.
The way people are losing their lives due to mistakes and accidents is something we can not comprehend.

 All we have to do is to wish him a quick recovery because shit happens and there might not be a visible way to control the occurrence.
We all are humans and we have the tendencies to do things that are fun and can come with repercussions without an obvious awareness.

Part of the training process that sportsmen undergo are actually to prepare them for moments like this. Participating in certain sports events can be really demanding, both physically and psychologically, so players are prepared for these moments. There are a lot of things that these players experience while in the pitch that we just see as ordinary, that people who are not trained in that way can not withstand at all.

But regardless of the trainings and preparations, accidents would still most likely happen at anytime. Sometimes I wonder how these folks risk their lives sometimes just to entertain the world

I understand what you mean and that is what most people are having issues with them, as they find it hard to balance their pursue for money and their families, though money is important in the family, as it is used to sort out bills and also used to take care of themselves, but that won't be compared to the time one spent with their loved ones, as it keep their relationships connected. That is why its good to keep everything one does in balance, especially in gambling that doesn't give one the certainty to win consistently or for them to make money through it, so instead of one to gamble and have less time for their families, its better to stop gambling and make sure they spend quality time with them.

That's right and I do feel for him because this moment is the time he really needs to put in all he got to and as the team are also looking up to him. You are correct, the mood in a game should not cloud their judgment of player becoming physically tired. I totally support the fact that health is the very most important prior to a player going to the field. Sports person must be aware of limits. The issue of physical safety should be given first priority in order to allow the players to play football with a lot of happiness.

Reading this thread title and what the intention behind it is, I think most of us here have seen a horrible incident in sports where in literally took your breath away. One example that comes to my mind was when a friend sent me a reel or a video where this one UFC fighter kicked the opponent's leg and then his own leg broke and his leg was hanging loosely in the air.... Arrrghh.

Just reading it alone feels painful. I just can't begin to imagine what the person who actually experienced it must have felt. I didn't watch it as a standalone video, but I think I have seen it in a video compilation before, and even more.

I think the most Memorable for me was a football match I watched a long time ago, it involved a striker and a keeper, the striker got a card for pushing the keeper, but he wasn't satisfied, and then he rushed to punch the player. It was actually funny, and thinking about it, I think the player must have ragebaited that keeper into doing that shit.

You are right absolutely, simple mistakes or miscalculated moves have ended alot of careers, not just in football but in many other sports as well, and also in other businesses that is outside sports... And to even be fair, when a mistake or miscalculated moves ends just the career of the unfortunate victim, it's been good compared to those who it ends their life, we have watched and read of incidents involving players dying right on the pitch in the middle of an ongoing match, what does one do with circumstances like this.?

So yeah, like I said in my previous comment, carefulness is very important in every field, it is him who fights and stays alive and healthy that lives to fight again another day, someone who fights and end up broken but alive will leave all his or her life missing the fight and regretting whatever lead to his or her predicament.

Very good, some players put in all their best to make sure they really actualized their dreams for the team because, their love for the team is something else and some of them end up being hurt and cut their dreams short, even if its good for one to put in their all for their team to grow, but that doesn't mean they have to injure themselves along the way. Although, no one planned accident before it happens, that is why one has to be careful when they are in the pitch because if anything bad happens to them, they will be replaced and the team will still move on.
