I just want something interesting. A project to believe in for more than a week.
More than a week may be stretching one's luck too far, don't you think so? The way things are now, I believe less than a week should be a safe distance to keep faith with freshly created tokens in this industry. If it goes beyond that, one should see it as gambling. And that's what's happening. Lots of losses than wins.

The only way to remove the bad players is thttp://hrough regulations. We should braze up and embrace regulations even if it will affect the innocent masses.
I'm in with that. I've equally suffered the many  atrocities of crypto scam. Regulations will help curb that. Every emerging industry will have its fair share of atrocious activities until regulations set in.

Using only BTC is like using only Windows. BTC has become corporate money these days. Who wants a monopoly in crypto ?
I don't quite understand this point. In what sense has Bitcoin become corporate money? Are there actually corporations that use it as money? I'd be more inclined to agree with pawanjain:
It's all about the trust. Big money is flowing into crypto and when that happens, they choose the one which is guaranteed to profit them.
Altcoins cannot be trusted that easily which is why instiutional investors are investing their money into bitcoin.
Corporations use Bitcoin as a kind of "investment" that they intend to eventually convert back into what they actually consider money.

Anyway more cool altcoins = less BTC dominance (it's like more cool Linux distros = less M$ dominance).
And what's wrong with Bitcoin's dominance? Dominance isn't the same as a monopoly. Twenty years ago, when the vast majority of people in my country used Windows, that didn't stop me from using Linux.

I use what I want, others use what they want, and I don't particularly care what percentage of people use a cryptocurrency that I don't use.

I actually use Bitcoin as money in my everyday life, but from what I've seen, there's hardly anyone left around me who still uses it. Everyone has gradually switched to USDT and USDC. But that doesn't bother me at all. If I need to pay these people or receive a payment from them, I can simply use one of the many exchange services available.

Investors are not wiser than before, they don’t just put their money on any coin like they blindly did years back. Everyone one is now smarter than before and they will only invest their money where they will see potential profit from and not some random coin that they’ll end up losing in. So there is a high chance that even if the altcoin season comes, only those that invested big in them will benefit from it and not some random investors that are just after looking for whale movement to get to benefit from easily. You’ll need to do more work to profit from altcoins if they event come back today.
Due to the lengthy, depressed time in altcoins, now things are getting worse because people do not have enough hope for the revival of altcoins in the near future. Things are looking for changes, which are not coming because developers fail to bring changes that can help altcoins to have any revolutionary change.

The list of dead coins is increasing day by day because people are trying to pull out their investment, which is making these coins more useless because new changes are not looking easy for developers while AI hype is increasing while Bitcoin also has enough potential, so it's always not in the hands of investors. Now it's time to bring things that help for having better results.

Scammers will continue to be scammers. The people who will always fall for these scammers are those with long throat and are not even knowledgeable about the altcoins itself. I wish there were some sort of regulations within the altcoin community, it would have bring about a more organized community for the altcoin rathe than just having a crazy moment where most of the coins are launched to swindle people off their funds. If the community will have some sort of regulation or people identifying and quickly report scam alerts among others, it will go a long way to salvage the cases we face today.

Regulations are important, it will really help in making us fish out these bad altcoins that are littering the market because as long as they remain in the market, we will most definitely not get the best out of altcoins ever again. As people gets to know how these altcoins are performing and are not giving the expected results, people are continuously losing trust in them and not ready to invest much money into them. Everyone is now wiser, no one is going to just invest money into what won’t give them profit, this is the state of altcoins market now. This is a very important issue and should be resolved before we see the return of altcoins.

There have to be enough of us OGs that we could all work together and dev something really cool. Memecoins and shit are cool to an extent and they kind of scratch the itch but I want to make something that really gives us all hope again. With people that know how to fucking hold longer than 30 seconds. Maybe its a pipe dream idk, but I really miss the 2013 era so much. Thats when everything felt exciting and progress wasnt paywalled to fuck and back.

It's likely never going to happen again but I don't want to place a bet on that, because right now the market is giving everybody that death of all altcoins feeling, things can turn out unexpectedly since everyone is giving up.

Crypto space lacks the regulations that's need, something needs to confuse people that there is still hopes in altcoins, we don't have real holders like the past anymore, today people will rather buy spot and trade it when profit is Available.

I hope things can change too but I have learnt my lesson around altcoins, I would rather trade them in the short therm than holding them for long term.

Life is all about personal interest, so if their is no benefit from doing a particular thing, then their will be changes.
People are wiser now than in the past where they hold on strong to an alt coin hoping that it bounces back. And one bad thing is that those that did held strong were either burnt or they didn't get something good from their investment, so who in his right sense will pledge loyalty to an alt coin at the expense of losing his money.

Wether you are trading or holding it, I would advice that you do it will what you can afford to lose, so that you will not be affected in any way if it doesn't later go as planned.
