The refs fuck up in every sport, all sporting associations need to do better and hire only the best professionals in their field. It's getting ridiculous how many bad or wrong calls are made and not only do teams suffer, but the bettors suffer as well.

For me, the biggest controversy of this World Cup was Donald Trump somehow getting a player’s yellow card overturned. External interference? Maybe. I think so. Some people say everything is already arranged and that a certain team has been chosen to win the tournament. Even though I do not believe those kinds of conspiracy theories, I do think there are certain outside influences that can affect the competition. It is a shame. Politics and geopolitical interests still have a huge influence on the world.

I saw a flash news in social media that the Football Federation of Egypt has filed a petition on this regard. And what is happening now was the same thing in the AFCON. This is how it was all started from the round of 16. Referees started misconducting themselves by blowing nonsense to favour one team or rue other. And I was thinking that this kind of thing has been removed from the game of football but it is still existing. The best way to stop this is for a large number of countries to stop participating in the FIFA World Cup to send their grievances for some decades and also to change the current FIFA and AFCON presidents.

If you're going to grant amnesty, you should implement a new rule to avoid being so blatant. This has just killed the beauty of Football. I agree that messi is greatest player of all time and he is the magicians . But what good it is if a magician needs favour. I just lost interest after watching these incident.

France playing against Argentina in the finals is going to be one hell of a match day because that would to me be considered the most strongest contenders. Argentina so far has had it easier with weaker teams and favoritism from the onset even if they are that good, but we know even with VAR and all the camera angles, the game can still be tactically rigged to favor any team.

Still, the biggest controversy of all is the fact that a red card suspension was overiden by a world power country among the co-host of world cup. The U.S team still lost but they made history with that rule bent in their behalf.

If you watched that match, both teams actually played well. I'm not a supporter of Argentina or Egypt, but there were definitely some referee decisions that seemed unreasonable. Many senior footballers and match analysts also commented on the controversy in that game.
FIFA needs to listen to criticism and improve how they run a major competition. What I dislike the most are FIFA's decisions, which tend to have political elements in them.

The controversy surrounding partial judgement with the referee revolves around Argentina and their past two games against Cape Verde abd Egypt and without a doubt these controversies are valid. It is plausible when fans at the affected end complain about these issues and changes are not done.

I understand that the FIFA president is a big supporter of Messi and Argentina but it taints the credibility of FIFA when situations like this occur repeatedly with a single country. It is also safe to say that Argentina has not played a strong opponent that matches their standard in this World Cup just yet, is there something else we need to know about this?
