The main thing is the mentality, many people are involved in gambling in such a way that they consider gambling as an investment. I agree that investment and gambling are not the same, most especially when you understand the purpose behind them. The moment you buy bitcoin you own an asset that you can appreciate it value over time, even if the price falls. But when it comes to gambling, you already know that gambling is full of risking money on a particular outcome and once you lose you can’t recover it. Investment doesn’t guarantee profit.

Bitcoin can lose value for a long period and some investment can still not do well. The main difference is how the money generates returns.
