In the final match of the week, the goal-scoring duel ended in a draw. Santa Clara tied 2-2 at home against Nacional. A total of four goals were scored in the match, all of which came in the first half. Santa Clara took a 2-0 lead in the 19th and 21st minutes thanks to goals by Gonçalo Paciencia, but they were unable to prevent Liziero’s penalty kick and Migue Baeza’s goal, and the first half ended 2-2. With no goals scored in the second half, the teams were forced to share the points. Santa Clara played better as a team but struggled to secure the win.

I agree, looking at the statistics it was really interesting to watch. Benfica, with 57% possession, had 11 shots on goal. Viseu, with 43% possession, had 5 shots on goal. In other words, Viseu was more efficient and, in my opinion, played better and should have won. Benfica needs to finish every opportunity they have; these are the games that will be missed at the end of the championship.

looking at their head-to-head statistics, Sporting have a fairly comfortable home record against Vitoria. Sporting dropped points in the first round and should be looking to earn their three points at home. however, the odds for Sporting victory aren't that high, around 1.3. also it's possible to try a bet "total over 2.5 goals", the matches between these teams are quite high-scoring.

For Arouca vs Moreirense, I'm going with Arouca or a draw. Arouca has already won this season and has won 6 of their last 12 games, while Moreirense has only won twice in their last 12 games, drawing and losing the rest.

Alverca hosted Estrela at home. I can say that both teams put on a good performance and the match deserved to end in a draw. While there were no goals in the first half, the game picked up pace at the start of the second half, and goals began to come in quick succession from both sides. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, marking Estrela’s second draw in its second league game.

Academico Viseu failed to secure a win against Santa Clara at home. After conceding a penalty goal in the first half, Academico Viseu suffered a loss and remained on 1 point, while Santa Clara managed to raise its total to 4 points with this victory. I was thinking that the era of scoring many goals was over for Sporting Lisbon following the exit of Ruben Amorim and some of their key players but it seem I was wrong because they started the season with goal generosity which demands paying close attention to. If they score at least 3 goals in their next match, then it would have been confirmed that this season is theirs for goals scoring, hence I will add them to my selection for over 3.5 which I will play every other week.

Porto yesterday also haven't showed nothing extraordinary, considering wak opponent. They didn't dominated, but 3 points is what matters most.

I don't agree with you, we can talk about their form now and there is absolutely nothing wrong about that. Sporting is not a small club and as a title hopeful, every match is seen as important and should deserve the best of the team. Don't also forget that theh are favorite team for a lot if gamblers because of how they score as well as their consistency in winning.

Famalicão is a good team, though they cannot be compared to Porto, Benfica & Sporting. They have proven this by consistently finishing in the top 10 over the past 7 seasons. This season, I feel that they don't have a strong desire to win, 1 point from 2 games. Different from Maritimo, despite being a newly promoted team, they have executed their first two games well, amassing 6 points so far.

This is just the beginning of the season, but the Portuguese league is getting more interesting after the week 2 matches. Sporting won their game against Guimaraes after a dramatic game. I was so surprised by how the match ended 3-2. I thought Sporting were going to bottle another game after a draw in the first game, because make is make sense after 3-0 in the first half of the game to 3-2 in the last minute of the game, Sporting needs to improve their game.

Porto with their second win in the second game of the season. It’s obvious that Porto is maintaining their performance from last season, but let’s see how the season goes.

Arouca does take it easy on Moreirense in the last game, they destroyed them by scoring four goals. Perhaps Vasco Seabra will build another strong side this season. They won their first game despite the red card, also won their second match, currently at the top of the table with goals difference over Porto.

Benfica is also playing Casa Pia today. Benfica will likely win especially after the draw in the first round but the odds for a win are only 1.2.

After dropping points in their Portuguese League opener last week, Benfica went on a goal-scoring spree against Casa Pia this week.
Benfica won the away match 7–0.
Pavlidis scored three goals, though he might have found the net even more times had he not been substituted for John Duran in the 59th minute.
In the final minutes, Casa Pia's Khaly received a second yellow card—resulting in a red—leaving the team to finish the match with ten men.
Benfica deserved to win last week as well but was held to a draw due to bad luck.
I have been following Benfica for two matches now, and they are truly among the teams best prepared for the league.
I will also be keeping a close eye on how they perform against Aarhus in the UEFA Europa League play-offs this Thursday.
Benfica is the heavy favorite.

It seems Benfica took out all their frustration from the points they dropped in the first week on Casa Pia.
They scored 7 goals in an away game, that was a very impressive performance. 7 of the 8 shots on goal found the back of the net. I imagine this was one of the worst days of the Casa Pia goalkeeper's career, he'd probably like to forget immediately. Andre Gomes came up through Benfica's youth system and that makes this all more dramatic.

Pavlidis made another hat-trick. I wonder which big club will sign him? His name comes up in connection with other teams every transfer window, but he keeps staying at Benfica. Familiar names for us Rafa Silva and Jhon Duran also scored in the match. I should've watched it live but Bein Sports got the coverage.
