The three main clubs, with Porto winning naturally, Sporting having the toughest game but winning, and Benfica winning by a large margin.
Braga didn't play because the players caught a virus, and the game against Gil Vicente was postponed.

In this round I planned to bet on all the games involving the big teams, but strangely I fell asleep and forgot to bet on the Sporting and Porto games, but at least I managed to bet on the Benfica game which had the following result:

Casa Pia 0 - 7 Benfica

Before this game started I thought: " I don't trust these Benfica guys, but they can score goals, if they have a good defense they can win " so I decided to bet on them and went further by betting that they would win by 2 goals. For this I chose the Asian market because the odds were better, around @1.66. It was a risk worth taking and fortunately Benfica won very easily. I don't know what the Casa Pia players were thinking during this game that they didn't focus on it. The defense was a mess, the Casa Pia goalkeeper tried hard but he alone couldn't prevent the 7 goals. Poor Casa Pia fans who left the stadium humiliated, especially playing at home. Benfica has usually been terrible away from home, but yesterday they were incredible.



Benfica's next game will be against Estoril, an opponent that isn't strong. Porto will play against Arouca, who could cause problems. Sporting will play against Alverca, who aren't strong either. I'm still thinking about whether to bet on a multi-bet or just on the Sporting game if it's worthwhile.

It was an incredibly convincing victory, but I don't think the sheer number of goals matters, a 2-0 win would have earned them three points. But they were one goal short in the previous round, and that draw took those points away. I never considered Benfica a prolific team that would score a lot of goals, I thought they were more rational when they were able to look ahead and save their energy for future matches if they already had a win in the current one.

The big 3 continues to impress as none of them have drop points yet. Sporting had a difficult game but they were able to come up with a win, and a deserving one too. They won 3-2, I gambled on this game, I put my money on sporting and man, I was tensed all game.

The reigning champions continues to prove that they want to retain the title again this season. They played away from home, but still was able to get a win.

It was a goal galore, Benfica trashed Casa pia 7-Nil. It the biggest win of the season so far. Benfica might be a team to watch out for this season. I really like how they always score with ease, they create chances easily in every game they play.

I was looking at the results of yesterday’s games, and Benfica’s 7-0 away win in the Portuguese league caught my eye. I went and watched the highlights, and Benfica managed to score goal after goal with remarkable ease. They scored two goals in the 14th minute through Rafa Silva and Prestianni, and by the 47th to 54th minutes, Pavlidis had already completed a hat trick, bringing the score to 5-0—but that wasn’t enough; they scored two more goals just seven minutes later. It seems like an incredibly high-scoring victory for Benfica—I don’t know what anyone else thinks—but it looks like they took out their frustration from their draw in the first week on Casa Pia.

I was thinking exactly that about them, which is why I didn't include or say anything in my predictions. I thought Benfica wouldn't be able to produce those kinds of shots on goal they were having. But looking at the statistics, they had 8 shots on goal and converted 7 of them into goals. I hope this is repeated in the games against Porto, Sporting, and Braga, which for me are the ones that will be in the top 4 or top 3.

I watched this game and I already thought that number of Benfica goals will reach double digits. They reached 7:0 result with 30 minuted until final whistle remaining and I'm sure that they were capable to add 3 more goals, but it wasenough for them. It's logical, considering that just after few days on Thursday they have Europa league playoff game with Aarhus, it's not going to be that easy.
After several game that I saw, Benfica looks very nice to watch, it's complete opposite of Mourinho team when they were scoring 1-2 goals per game most of time.
