What you have said actually make sense here, but its more realistic if we look at this way.
Bitcoin investment is not truly a one time commitment, because this is long term habits. No single investor could able to build their investment or retirement for just doing 1 time transaction then try to forget about that purchase they made.

This is so hard to figure out and earning huge does not work that way. Because their expenses, income and confidence change also the pattern of investments they do since it evolves to.
Those people which do one time lump sum actually not investing, but rather they are just hoping Bitcoin to pump more.
Then those people choose to became consistent on their investment even if they used small amount of their money is actually building their future.

There are a lot of people who think about investments as lump sums, and perhaps they are not wrong, since so many historical investments might have had been structured in lump sum kinds of ways, yet bitcoin allows a person to invest over time, and sure it might even be preferable to lump sum invest, even into bitcoin, yet so many normal people do not have lump sum amounts available, so instead maybe they will spend 4-10 years or longer just buying their bitcoin, and if they happen to have funds to be able to front load their investment, they might be able to invest within a few years in the beginning rather than spreading their initial investment over many years, such as over 4-10 years or longer.  Even a person who might be able to invest 10% of his income into bitcoin, at that 10% per year rate, it is going to take him 10 years to be able to put a whole year's income into bitcoin, and whether a whole year's income is enough or not may depend upon how well bitcoin performs, and if bitcoin performs in modest rather than exponential ways, then he may have to continue to put money into bitcoin in order to get his stash size to a large enough amount that it makes a significant difference, especially  if the value of bitcoin had been going up during the 10 years or more that he had been buying into it, and so then the bitcoin he bought in his earlier years of investing would have had been bought at much lower prices as compared with the bitcoin he bought in the later down the road years.   The bitcoin that he had bought in his early years would have had likely appreciated in value much more than the bitcoin that he had bought in later years.

But actually Bitcoin does not force this model. Also usual people don't have huge cash reserve that's why usually their position is naturally gets built for many years.

Even if they put their 10% income it will take decades to put their one year worth of earnings on Bitcoin then I think this is normal. Since what really important it allows their ongoing buys and the coins they have bought earlier are the one appreciates compare to those coins they bought later on.

That front loading can somehow help if the investor have big funds to use, but if they do spread their buys I think this will became more advantage will have less regrets and pressure if suddenly the price drops. Well as always the most important part here is consistency. But well either what strategy they are using those early coins they bought usually do heavy lifting on their portfolio.

For me doing balance approach like front loading then do steady DCA became much sustainable for people choose to stay for long term on Bitcoin.

If you want to use a wallet for transactions then I would say you should use Electrum wallet. But if you want to hold then you can use Hardware wallet.

I personally prefer to use two wallets. For example one is for transactions with everyone and the other is for holding. If someone needs to send some amount of Bitcoin or buy Bitcoin then I will definitely use Electrum or Trust wallet. For long term holding I will use Hardware.

I don't think gold is near its peak, though you are right that it is currently in a correction phase and will likely continue to fall. But Bitcoin is most likely near its bottom and very close to reversing course and starting a bull market. That is why I agree that it is better to invest in Bitcoin right now rather than gold. As for whether small investors can profit from Bitcoin, I think they can, but they shouldn't count on a massive multiplication of their capital. Bitcoin is becoming a heavy asset, and it will be increasingly difficult for it to grow.

We need to go know the wallet your using, because we cannot start advising you on which wallet to use when you already have the one you are using, and the reason why you are using the one you are using if it is a wallet that you want to hold your coins for a long time like decentralize wallet or if it's an exchange wallet. The purpose to which you want to use the wallet for it's also important for recommendations.

A newbie doesn't need to worry about securing their asset before they can start buying bitcoin, security is important but it's not a criteria for someone who wants to start buying bitcoin, a who's figured out their discretionary income can start buying bitcoin from there, anything else can come afterwards.

If what you are using right now isn't giving you any issues then you could keep using it but the best to hold your bitcoin will be the Electrum wallet, though it's not like everyone has to be using it especially with newbies who are just starting to buy bitcoin, as some or them could very much start buying and holding form exchanges they are not all that safe but also not a bad place to start from, you can always move your bitcoin to a more secured self custodial wallet later on instead of delaying your investment because you've yet to get the right wallet.

Gold and Bitcoin are both investable assets, so they need to be compared. If I have $5,000 a year to invest, then to decide whether I should invest that $5,000 in Gold, Bitcoin, or split it between the two, I must know the policy, risk of the two assets and what kind of output they will give in the long term. After that, it will be easier for us to make a decision. And what exactly do you mean by Gold is higher in value? price of an ounce of Gold? Total market capitalization? Historical acceptance? For your information Trust wallet is one of the shittiest wallet so far, because it's not an open source wallet but a closed source own by Binance and it's not advisable to use a closed source wallet because there might be a backdoor that can be used to access your wallet.

You should stop using Trust Wallet and transfer your bitcoin out from it to your Electrum wallet. This is why brand new investor shouldn't rush into choosing a wallet when they haven't started their bitcoin investment because they don't have any knowledge on wallets.

it is not possible for anyone to be able to predict the price of bitcoin correctly. So if you take a look at what Rhow was saying, he was only speculating the possibility of a bull market. The idea of timing the market is not common with long term investors but with short term investors or traders. There goal is to try to get a perfect entry price and also to be able to sell at a perfect entry price. But for long term holders, there focus is on consistent accumulation of bitcoin and to be able to build a good bitcoin holdings. You are wrong about long term holders trying to time the market before buying, this is a common characteristics of those that are after quick profits.

People should not feel disappointed just because they have small amounts to start their investments journey. Some successful investors we are seeing today, it’s not as if everyone of them started with a big capital. All hands are not equal, and everyone starts with something they can afford. After being consistent for some years, we see what they have achieved after being patience with their Bitcoin holdings. Bitcoin is about how consistent and patience you are with your investment, it’s not by amount you can afford.

I believe that smal investors can make good money off bitcoin,  but I can only advice that you buy and hold, that's the only way you can make profit. You really don't have to care about how much you are accumulating,  but the most important thong is the consistency. You don't have to care how much other people are investing,  but you little investing and your consistency can help you make good profit in the long-term. It's true that their are other means, but I think they are very risky, so the best advice is that you just accumulate and hold for a long time and I believe that you will definitely make good profit in the future.
