The answer depends on each one's belief and understanding.  For sure this is simply a coincidence, but people who understand dreams and study it have another interpretation.  I do not think that believing in dreams automatically falls under superstition.  In ancient times, prophecy often appeared in dreams, and it happened.

No, if superstition works, it still can be called a coincidence.  Because many times, it has been observed that among hundreds or thousands of superstition some of them seem to happen just like what they predict in reading the stars.

Everyone is entitled to what they believe in, but I have seen lottery players that don't joke with any random numbers they see in a dream, early in the morning or late at night or at certain quiet times of the day.
Some believe that dreams are a different world where we live in and most of the strange faces we see sometimes are those we have somehow and somewhere come across in real life, including angels or even numbers.

It's okay to give meaning or search for a meaning to a dream, afterall when we dream is when our brain is most relaxed and most times we get answers to questions we have asked in real life or get the solutions to some problems we have in real life.

I am usually not the kind of person who believes in superstitions, but I will also not disagree with people who say that believing in superstitions works for them. I have read stories like this, and there are claims that they have been lucky with their beliefs. If their claim that what they all believe in help them win, then it is okay for them to stick to such beliefs, whether it is a coincidence or not.

Let me tell you something about dream that you (we must understand) in regards to what we usually see in the dream. Do you know that when you go to bed you are going to bed with the last memory of what did or the conversation you had with someone before going bed, at this it is like you short down your memory without saving it properly and you when you go the bed that was what you left on the space and you had to start looking for a better way to save it properly without knowing you are already sleeping and hence you began to see those things on your dream. When you wake since you didn't store those discussions properly you may think it was a dream but not really that, thus, I don't argue that there is no dream, I know that such happened but most of the dreams most people do have is because of what I have explained above.

Such an interesting story and I feel bad for you for the fact that you wasted what should be an opportunity of a lifetime because these things works, you just have to figure out a way of interpreting them. In my case, if I see a number in my dream it is a clear sign that I should abstance from gambling that period .

I have a cousin that have won millions from numbers given to him in the dream which he was able to bet massively in the lottery.  He has had such experience twice, the first was a minor win but the second time he hit te jackpot. Through him I have understood that such things works but it varies from individuals. My advice is that you shouldn't anticipate it, let it happen naturally then you can risk what you can afford to lose.

It's not that he wasted an opportunity, but since this was his first time experience dreaming with numbers, maybe the hesitation is still there, or still unsure of what to do with those numbers. But still, he end up betting, but the fact that he misarranged them, that cost him not to win. At least after that, he'll be more cautious the next time he'll dream of numbers.

Dreaming works but we can't anticipate that those exact numbers will come out. Or sometimes, there will be a slide of numbers like 4 becomes 5, or 8 becomes 7, anyways its still gambling, everything is still uncertain.

That part honestly bothered me more than the first result. I kept thinking that if I had trusted my instincts a little more, I might have been much luckier. At the same time, I still couldn't convince myself that dreams have any real connection to lottery results.

Honestly speaking I have won game I received in dream, and believe me that's actually true. At first I doubted it but as time goes on I Begin to try it and I won. Not once or twice but as many as possible. Superstition works wether you chose to believe it not. The truth is that it may mostly work for those that believe.  I have experience it before, so what I do is that if I see any numbers in my dreams, I interchange them before betting.

Sometimes dreams are from your own experience from the whole day. You have been focused on those numbers before you slept that day, and it went with you in the dream. That happens a lot of times.

Well, regarding superstitions, my grandfather and my aunts also believe in this kind of thing. Numbers from a dream being used as a number to bet on the lottery, or sometimes even unusual happenings converted to a number. Yeah, growing up with them, I learned that even a sneeze has a given number.

If you have the spare money, bet on it. If not, don't force it. If it came out and you didn't bet, don't regret it. It could just be a coincidence. Superstitions can sometimes happen, but it doesn't mean we have to always believe in them, especially if it's ruining our lives. There are actually things that remain unexplainable. And for some reasons, people managed to win because they are lucky that time, and they find unexplainable luck from those dreams or plate numbers involved in vehicular accidents.

But I won't encourage everyone to just rely your luck from dreams or any unforeseen events. Its still best to come up with good analytical skills and gambling experience, even if it means with luck-based games.

there are many bias related to superstition in general... personally I have never been a fan of these kinds of gambling games.
Since I started to use bitcoin I have never accepted a single ticket or whatever.
It's not matter about "how many coins you have". It's matter to understand how they work and why you can use it.
In any case, any saving in btc would be something really greatful in the future.
Could I win a lottery? Yes sure, but ... there is a reason why these are pretty uncommons

Because of that, last month was actually the first time in my life that I bought lottery numbers through a local betting site.

What made me do it?

That is funny! If I said this to my wife she would definitely give me a huge scolding, and my son would laugh a lot about the situation.

I think it is kind of like an atheist who has witnessed a miracle, you know!? We spend so much time not believing in or paying attention to things we do not believe in that we genuinely fail to notice subtle signs that may be perfectly normal to many people, while others see them as supernatural.... like: unusual things, completely random events, natural but seemingly unexplainable little occurrences, or simply strokes of luck.

If you do not believe in any of that, you simply do not pay attention to it. And it is precisely because you ignore those things that, when you come across something that feels so real, you think: "Wow, could this be a sign?" You know what I mean!? It is something that awakens your attention.

Anyway, at least one of two things will happen: either you will become rich, or you will end up thinking: "I was really silly to believe in that" and then you will go back to your normal life of skepticism

Many folk believe that their favourite number is their lucky number and use that number to win. Every player wears their favourite number on their T-shirt, considering that number as a symbol of luck. This popular belief can only provide peace of mind. In reality, to be successful, you have to be lucky. To be a good player, you have to be hardworking and disciplined. Gamblers have to be lucky to win more.

It's a strange coincidence, having the same numbers appeared again on your dreams 5 days later. Maybe you are thinking too much about those numbers, most of the time, what appears in our dreams is what we think the most before sleeping. And that makes you wonder why this kind of experience make you question yourself about such superstitious belief.

But I still think that your dream and the lottery results were unrelated. Numbers drawn in the lottery are random, guessing those numbers every single day, the combination of numbers will inevitably match the results. It only gives you a significant feeling of coincidence because it appears in your dreams twice, but it doesn't mean that your dream predicted the outcome. And if ever those numbers had never become the winning numbers in the lottery, you probably would just forget about those dream and numbers.

Because science says so, I'm dismissing this as pure coincidence. But this isn't the first time I heard of somebody sharing a similar story. My friend who wasn't a gambler also won a lottery because he dreamt of a number. He doesn't bet, but he did for once because of his dream. He shared it with his neighbors. He won a little because he only bet with a minimum amount. His neighbors won bigger.

I doubt dreams are able to see the future. But there are coincidences, though.

It may be just superstitions, and dreams may come true for some people by chance, but even if they do happen, these are very rare cases and are not necessarily true for all people. Also, thinking about something constantly makes you see it in your dreams.

I have heard some stories about people winning the lottery by seeing the correct numbers in a dream, but honestly I have not seen any real incident in front of me, and they all remain just stories, I do not know if they are true or not.
