I hope you know that you cannot use a team domestic performance to judge what their performance will be in international competitions because they might prefer to give their best in Europa since, if they win it, they'll automatically qualify for the Champions League.
Crystal Palace won their first FA Cup trophy, and in that same season they finished mid-table, about 12th place in the Premier League, not doing well in the domestic league didn't stop them from winning an important trophy. Most of the teams know they cannot win the Premier League, what they do is focus on any competition in which they have a chance of winning it, and also make sure not to finish in the relegation zone, that's enough for them to consider it a good season.

English teams generally don't make European competitions a priority over their own national championship. That's just how they are over there. After all, winning the EL is no walk in the park, so focusing on it would only make sense in the later stages when chances become real, and not now.

Pro tip for tomorrow: Dinamo Zagreb looks awful at the moment, and will be missing their (probably) best player Beljo vs Hapoel. We might still win though as Hapoel plays on neutral ground in Romania, but I am not too optimistic.

If you look at the year they won their first uefa champions league and even the second one under Thomas tuchel, they weren't doing that well domestically, but in europe  they did everything possible to win it. So it's wrong to use the domestic league performance to judge a team, because a team may not be too consistent enough to win the league, but they can be able to win a cup competition that is not as long as the league title that needed consistency from start to finish.

It’s definitely different when they play in the Europa League. Crystal Palace even lost in the domestic league to a team that was just promoted this season in front of their own fans, but when playing at the European level, their motivation is certainly different.

To be honest, Pierre Sage has only just started his tenure with Crystal Palace, and the results haven’t shown strong performance yet. I’m still approaching Crystal Palace’s matches in this tournament with the hope that they can win.
Compared to Glasner, Sage can’t really be called bad yet, since he’s only managed five matches so far. But as you said, the results in the Premier League can’t be used as a benchmark to judge their performance here.

Sage is a new coach and needs time to understand the players strength and also blend them to his own game strategy. For some coaches, it takes more than the expected time for them to fix the team.

While, for some in few weeks they have fixed the team. Crystal Palace needs to give their best in the competition to make sure that they go far because they aren't doing well in their recently played EPL games.

It does not seem correct to me. Top team are apt of achieving well across all competition. I am referring to elite clubs. You know teams like City, PSG, Madrid dominate their respective league for several consecutive season and even win trophy in every contest they partook in. Over last two season, PSG head up to win title in practically every competition they played in.

A few year ago Chelsea did not have any top tier crew. Even now their interpretation lacks consistency. That is why instead of concentrating on Premier League they condensed on winning Champions League. Regardless such approach does not always work when it comes to winning trophy. Chelsea was very fortunate to win Champions League title.

I think he has the time to get things done, the season is just starting although seeing things from this view only makes it way worse because there are some times that actions need to be seen rather than promises of getting something done. Crystal palace are a team that knows how important it is when they are playing in a cup competition so I expect nothing less from them when it comes to the Europa league game or maybe any cup games in the domestic leagues but can't say the same for the premier League though because their struggles is showing off already.

Honestly I don't see anything alarming about his performance in the EPL except for that terrible result against Ipswich and that match they played good, his first EPL matches he did bad but it's expected from a new boss. Although he had a better start at RC Lens but that is the French League, he is going to need more time to adjust to the EPL's intensity.

His next match against Lech Poznan will tell us more about his future campaign as Crystal Palace Gaffer

Most of the teams know they cannot win the Premier League, what they do is focus on any competition in which they have a chance of winning it, and also make sure not to finish in the relegation zone, that's enough for them to consider it a good season.
In addition, when Aston Villa won the Europa League, they played the final at a time when some of the players got injured and were slipping out of the top 4 in the Champions League. Yet Aston Villa won the cup. A team's performance in the domestic league cannot be used to compare their performance in European competitions. I like when manager use their sense to choose between how they finish in the domestic league or to win a cup with more chances of winning. The Premier League teams were on a different level last season. Hopefully they continue with that form in all competitions they are participating.

The Europa League finally starts today! They have scheduled times to follow: in the earlier slot, I will definitely watch Omonia vs. Celta. It's a shame they have placed only 2 games in the early schedule, because later we have a lot of good fixtures. Hapoel vs. Dinamo is a must-watch for me, and maybe in parallel I will be watching Milan vs. Benfica or Sunderland vs. AZ—we'll see how the games start.
