To be honest, Pierre Sage has only just started his tenure with Crystal Palace, and the results haven’t shown strong performance yet. I’m still approaching Crystal Palace’s matches in this tournament with the hope that they can win.
Compared to Glasner, Sage can’t really be called bad yet, since he’s only managed five matches so far. But as you said, the results in the Premier League can’t be used as a benchmark to judge their performance here.

It does not seem correct to me. Top team are apt of achieving well across all competition. I am referring to elite clubs. You know teams like City, PSG, Madrid dominate their respective league for several consecutive season and even win trophy in every contest they partook in. Over last two season, PSG head up to win title in practically every competition they played in.

A few year ago Chelsea did not have any top tier crew. Even now their interpretation lacks consistency. That is why instead of concentrating on Premier League they condensed on winning Champions League. Regardless such approach does not always work when it comes to winning trophy. Chelsea was very fortunate to win Champions League title.

I think he has the time to get things done, the season is just starting although seeing things from this view only makes it way worse because there are some times that actions need to be seen rather than promises of getting something done. Crystal palace are a team that knows how important it is when they are playing in a cup competition so I expect nothing less from them when it comes to the Europa league game or maybe any cup games in the domestic leagues but can't say the same for the premier League though because their struggles is showing off already.

Honestly I don't see anything alarming about his performance in the EPL except for that terrible result against Ipswich and that match they played good, his first EPL matches he did bad but it's expected from a new boss. Although he had a better start at RC Lens but that is the French League, he is going to need more time to adjust to the EPL's intensity.

In addition, when Aston Villa won the Europa League, they played the final at a time when some of the players got injured and were slipping out of the top 4 in the Champions League. Yet Aston Villa won the cup. A team's performance in the domestic league cannot be used to compare their performance in European competitions. I like when manager use their sense to choose between how they finish in the domestic league or to win a cup with more chances of winning. The Premier League teams were on a different level last season. Hopefully they continue with that form in all competitions they are participating.

The Milan vs. Benfica match is of Champions League caliber. It is likely to see plenty of goals as well; since it follows a league-style format, teams prioritize winning, which tends to result in higher-scoring games.

EUFA has really changed many things and the schedules. Last week Thursday, after watching Manchester United in the champions league, I was searching for Europa matches and couldn't see. I even searched the next day being Friday, not knowing that Europa was shifted to this midweek.

The arrangements are not actually bad, it gives room for spread and rest. I will be looking forward to watch the two England clubs (Bournemouth and Crystal Palace) tomorrow. I believe they'll play well

Man I am dreading this game. I don't know if I am just too pessimistic, but I don't see how Dinamo can win tonight (unless very lucky). And its a sad really, to be so pessimistic, like we are playing vs Milan and not some team that got kicked out of Champions League by Sabah.

Dinamo Zagreb's defense has been abysmal this season, so going for over 2.5 isn't a bad choice. They are missing their main goalscorer tonight, so it'll be interesting to see how that affects them offensively, but I'm not optimistic. That being said, going with Hapoel to win or draw seems like better risk/reward.

The Europa League competition is starting today, and different teams from different leagues, and countries are being represented, and every team here is ensuring to win this Europa trophy, but the most informed team will like carry the trophy, and by looking at these teams listed here, the trophy will likely go to either England or Italy with my vote going to Juventus in particular. I know that these teams here are very good , and informed in their various leagues, but the English teams, and the Italian teams are more stronger considering their leagues, and team like Juventus, and AC Milan are also top teams from one of the strongest leagues, so to me the possibility of them carrying Europa up is about 80%.

Europa League matches are difficult because there are a lot of teams from other leagues that I hardly follow. So I have no idea what Omonia are capable of. Celta on the other hand, are in poor form and still haven’t won a single match this season. So I wouldn’t be surprised if they also draw their away game.

I think Bayer should win their match at home, but the odds are too low to make it worth betting on.

AZ Alkmaar are a very attacking and high scoring team, so I think both teams should score here. But again, I don’t really follow this team, so I don’t have a clear idea of what they are capable of. Sunderland should probably be able to beat them at home.

So many matches will happen in the first match week of Europa league, but i'm fully believing people will put their attention to Milan vs Benfica. Milan recent performance is average, and i have no confidence for them to win the game. However, Benfica is just a slightly better than them at this moment.
It's also very important Duran is gonna play tonight. I think Benfica has a better club on paper with Duran, Palhinha in their side.

Milan most probably play Terracioano and Bartesaghi, which i think those two players become their liability. I'm doubting Milan's defense to resist against the attack created by Benfica especially when Benfica has Duran back to their squad.
I believe any of you guys are in favor Milan to win because they'er one of top club in serie a, but i take it opposite because Milan has always been mediocre club when competing in europa league.

Hope Benfica will beat Milan with cleansheet, though the possibility is small. At least, the lead in the early game can help Benfica to destroy amorim's team mentality.

Looking at the current matches, it doesn't seem like we can expect much from them this season. Because the results we are seeing in the Premier League don't seem like they will be able to do much in the new season or in the FA Cup. Their defensive weaknesses have become very apparent, if they want to move forward then they will definitely have to fix their position and first of all they will have to fix their defensive weaknesses. If we see them overcome their defensive weaknesses then we can definitely expect some hope from them this season too.
