The World Cup has barely ended and here we are discussing the next one again. There's a long way to go until then, with qualifiers, friendlies, the building of new teams, and a new generation of players for some national teams. Anything can happen. Will Italy manage to qualify for a World Cup again?

Italy qualifying is a question that would be answered in 3.5 years lol. I think this thread will likely be just speculations and for sharing events that are relevant to the world cup in the next 3 years. The thread will likely go through several weeks where there would be little to no replies unless there is anything significant to talk about.


 I'm personally here for the information because I didn't know Morocco will be one of the major host of the 2030 world cup. That's really good to see because by the time of the 2030 world cup, it would've been 20 years since the world cup was last hosted in an African country and it's nice to see.

The most important thing is that the future world cup in 2030 marks a 100th year anniversary since the beginning of world cup tournament held in 1930 and it comes with a different package like the just concluded one hosted among 6 countries and three continent including Africa for the first time I think.
I wonder if the rules would change because am sure it would to accommodate the lot of teams that would be present but then, there would be no Messi or Ronaldo but a selection of new stars to look out for or that has shown promise so far in their career by then.

Will we finally see an African team reach the World Cup final or even win the whole thing in 2030? I’d say there is a very high probability of it happening, especially given how the tournament is set up.
If the venue for the 2030 final ends up being awarded to Casablanca, playing on home soil would create an incredible atmosphere. They are currently building the largest football stadium in the world by capacity and right now the hosting rights for the final seem to be a showdown between Casablanca and the Santiago Bernabéu.
A country like Morocco definitely has what it takes to accomplish this historic feat. Looking at their development and squad trajectory, I think in 4 years that team will mature significantly in terms of international experience and tactical depth. By the time 2030 rolls around, they won't just be dark horses, they will be legitimate title contenders.

Imo, this thread should be locked to be respond in two years time before the FIFA world cup tournament kicks off, because it's too early to start discussing about a tournament that it's scheduled to commence in four years time.

I'm suggesting for this thread to be locked and reopened in two years because the thread will be filled with Spam posts, so it will be better we focus on other football leagues, beside new season just got started, we are just waiting for major leagues such as premier League, La Liga, Europa Leagues serie A, Bundesliga and others to kick Start by next month.

i think this is the earliest thread i’ve seen created here for an event  there are still more than three years until 2030, and i think it will be hard for this thread to stay active until then. after all, the previous world cup just ended.

anyway, my country, turkey, participated in that world cup exactly 24 years later and performed far below expectations. if a thread has been started for 2030, i should say right now that i hope turkey finishes the tournament in a better position. the matches against paraguay and australia were really tough for us.

The thread might not get traffics as much as other threads in the gambling board bit it'll definitely be bumped at intervals especially whenever qualifying games for the next FIFA World Cup are played. As for your country's disappointing performance in the just concluded FIFA World Cup, I understand how painful it can be but you still have to fully throw in your support behind the team as they prepare to play in the qualifiers that'll give them the opportunity of booking a place for the next FIFA World Cup.

If there are a lot of petitions against the World Cup team selection model, they might decide to change the policy.
Many sports fans are dissatisfied with the way this year's World Cup was officiated and how the fixtures were conducted, so I hope they adopt a format similar to what was used for the team matches in the Champions League, as you suggest.

It would be interesting to do it that way and make better use of technology, limiting the use of human referees and having everything equipped with sensors so that the detection of fouls and everything else is much better than a VAR system that lends itself to corruption. These are things that need to change; the idea that the referee should have all the power in the game shouldn't be the case, because they are corrupt.
