We live a age where information flies. If we fail to teach our kids early in life about Bitcoin and other crypto currencies alongside how the work and the right choices to make, they will get the information outside or from a random platform and there is no guarantee to how legit the sources of their information will be. We don't have to wait for our kids to declare interest before teaching them. Children are meant to learn about what their parents want them to learn and have understanding about and there in no need of trying to make it look the other way. There are rich families that have created a separate accounts for all their children and even month they continue to send money to their children bank account so they can build person wealth for them.
You can teach your children about Bitcoin and while they are learning, you can be buying Bitcoin and be keeping for them in a separate wallet you must have created for them.

Kids can also carry out transactions if they are taught. That depends on what they were told and the wallet they were shown to handle. Kids are fast learners; if they can learn every other thing about Bitcoin, why not the wallet aspect and how to do transactions.

A good reason for not teaching them how to make transactions from their wallet is if I suspect they lack good financial judgment. Any child with bad financial choices will not value the bitcoins in the wallet.

You have a point but I don't totally agree, the problem with the average Nigerian is that they assume kids are too young to know about certain things not knowing that they are limiting them, in other countries kids are doing things in tech that are considered not to be something to be done at their level but early exposure to it made them learn easier.

In this aspect you are right, while introducing bitcoin to kids and teaching them about the basics of it is the right step to take it is also not a good idea to entrust them to the investment side of it at that age. The idea of introducing children to bitcoin is Very important in the aspect of giving the kids a good Sense of responsibility since they have the duty of protecting their seed phrase for the safety of their coins. There should be no age limit for learning Bitcoin if they are children. The children of the current generation will lead the world in the future. If these children can learn about what Bitcoin is and how it works from a young age, they will understand its importance better when they grow up. From a young age, they will learn to differentiate between fiat and Bitcoin and will learn what are the limitations of these two financial systems.
