As they said already others can use mail to sign up since most of the countries aren't listed there. For me I found it more easier for signing up because most times mail verification code could find it very hard to be confirmed but using phone to register it confirms quickly without delay.

Actually they have option to use their email to register here in Scoras, I already done that and didn't get any problem since the registration process went smooth here.
