Twente defeating PSV 3-2 is not a huge surprise. We all knew it would not be an easy game for PSV. Both teams gave a good show. PSV dominated in ball possession (62%), but it was Twente that created more scoring chances, which converted into more goals.
That win means Twente has now the same points as PSV and they jumped above Ajax.

AZ are back at the top of the table after their modest 1-0 win over Telstar, and Feyenoord, who defeated Utrecht 5-0, are 2nd with two points behind.
So next round we're going to see a battle for 1st place, as Feyenoord is hosting AZ at home. Neither team has lost a league game this season, so it's going to be really interesting.

I also don't think Twente beating PSV is a surprise result; Twente is a team capable of contending for the top spot in the league. Currently, AZ Alkmaar sits at the top. Both Feyenoord and AZ remain unbeaten and are playing excellent football. It looks like the Dutch league will be highly competitive this season. I don't expect Twente to be in the title race, but PSV, AZ Alkmaar, and Feyenoord will engage in a fierce battle for the championship.

I’m not even surprised at the results at all, i watched the game, and I knew PSV would concede plenty of goals, it was just how clinical Twente can be. Twente are playing a very good style of play and they would cause any team problem, especially if they are playing at home. You are right, maybe Twente won’t win the league but I think they will be playing European competition next season.

My gamble on this game was GG+, and I was not even moved, because I knew it would happen. I still think PSV are still favorites to win the league just like you said, but they will need to step up their performance after the international break.

The truth is just that nobody believed that PSV Eindhoven will lose to Twente and that match failed many bettors because everyone sees PSV Eindhoven as an unstoppable team in the Eredivisie.

Wout Weghorst only played at Manchester United in 2023 through a loan deal and he isn't even any good striker because out of 31 matches he played at Manchester United he only scored 2 goals so there's nothing special about him despite scoring the leveling goal that gave Twente the morale to move forward and win PSV Eindhoven.

Next time if you are adding PSV matches to your bet just use the option of BTTS or over 2.5 goals so that you can be on the safer side because most of their matches ends with a high score and BTTS.

If you are someone who is familiar with the Eredivisie you would know that, FC Twente defeating PSV should not cause any surprises at all.This is because apart from the liked of Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord the next clubs that you are going to call is the liked of FC Twente. Even though Twente is not the the category of PSV on a good day they can play any team as far as the Netherland Eredivisie is concerned.

I knew that this game was definitely going to be a tough one for PSV, going by recent matches that FC Twente has played at the start of the season. Plus Twente was at home and that played a very huge role in this game, if am not forgetting Twente finished fourth on the league table last season. And played the Europa league qualifiers before losing out and will be playing in the conference league, which is a very impressive gorm from the home team and so anyone who thinks that, PSV were to have an easy game against Twente is not been realistic.

Don't beat yourself up over a lost bet.
We all know PSV will not finish with 100% win ratio. They will be losing points from time to time, and this was the type of game when them losing points was a highly probable option.
Twente shouldn't be underestimated. They have been finishing in the European cups zone for multiple seasons in a row now. In two out of the last 3 seasons, they finished above Ajax twice, so it wouldn't be wrong to consider Twente as a stronger team.
They are not there yet in terms of wealth and historical successes, but considering only the recent years, they are definitely one of the top Dutch clubs.

But since then, their performance level has gone down a bit, and they have had some disappointing results. I know that a season will come when we will have an outlier outside of the top teams that will be able to go head-to-head with the top teams in the league and compete for the title. I was hoping it would be AZ, but it's still too early to say.

I will be looking forward to AZ's game vs Feyenoord by the time leagues resume to see if we have a title-race kind of team in AZ.

Charm of the early season, that’s how I usually describe the conditions, seeing unexpected teams rise to the top of the standings. You're right that AZ Alkmaar is currently leading the standings as they haven't yet faced strong teams like PSV, Feyenoord or Ajax.

Now, the real challenge awaits in their next league match. Based on the odds from bookmakers, Feyenoord is the favorite, beyond possessing a stronger squad, they're also playing at home, a distinct advantage for them. So, I have no doubt that this match will mark AZ Alkmaar first loss in the Eredivisie this season.

Yep, it's always tough for smaller teams to maintain their performance over the course of the season, as there will always be tough games like the one AZ will have with Feyenoord as soon as club football is back. That's the edge that PSV has because their recent title wins came from top performances towards the end of the season. They did it against Ajax and then against Feyenoord last season.

So far, the Netherlands eredivise have played 7 matches, and AZ Alkmar have won 6 matches and 1 draw, they have not lost any match for now, and in the eredivise table they are also ranking first, followed by Feyenoord, and PSV in the 3rd position. Of a truth this is actually a good start for a team like AZ, however the gap between the top three teams are not much for now, and which means if AZ cannot continue with their present form, they can be toppled by either Feyenoord or PSV in a short period of time. I think first of all PSV will close the gap, win their match and be on par with Alkmaar in terms of total points. Alkmaar, on the other hand, has a great opportunity to distance Feyenoord and send a strong signal to all other teams for this season. Alkmaar is back on track after they have been on a moderate decline for the last seasons. Now they can win three important points, stay in the middle of the top competition and gain some well needed confidence for the next Europa League matches. There is more on the line in this match than just three points. I think it will at least somewhat determine their trajectory for the season.

Az is just warming the position for either Feyenoord or PSV . The season is still new, so they have alot of energy to win multiple games. But when the season has reached midway, then you might not find them in that position anymore. Moreover they are playing in an European competition, which might take a toll on their players since their squad isn't good and has much depth than that of the big 3. No one can deny the fact that , they've really tried and I am sure alot of fans  might be happy if they luckily win the league which is unlikely tho. But Alkmaar has been playing well the past seasons and also qualifying to European competition, I hope they can repeat what Hearts did in the Scottish league last season, if they have strong conviction.

Ngl, I'm leaning towards that same leg too, but I haven't confirmed the odds. I do like to bet on goals for Eredivisie games, but I'm cautious of AZ Alkmaar because they seem like a team that will default to a low block in an attempt to keep the game as low-scoring as possible, especially if they know that they can't win. Over 2.5 would have been a nice leg with things considered.
