Az Alkmaar are not a team that poses much threat especially when they meet a team that can match them strength for strength and as it is, being at the top will make them extra careful so as to not make mistakes but if there's something I've understood in football, if you're too careful to protect your lead at the top and fail to show composure in games, you'd easily lose focus and make mistakes.
 Feyernood will play host to AZ Alkmaar on the 10th of this month and it's going to be tough depending on how both teams go into the game. Alkmaar haven't lost any of their games as out of 7 games played, 6 have been won and just draw while Feyernood has 5 wins and 2 draws so it's a question of who will go down for the other? My prediction is Feyernood to win or draw.

AZ Alkmaar has made an excellent start to the league season. They need to be very careful to maintain this momentum. Feyenoord is arguably one of the toughest opponents in the Netherlands. For AZ, this match will be about holding onto the top spot they cannot afford to lose to Feyenoord. Even a draw would be a good result, in my opinion, as they can maintain their consistency against smaller teams.

PSV lost their last game to Twente (3-2), which cost them their 1st-place position in the table, so they have something to prove. They are a big favourite. Heerenveen have only won once in their last 5 league games, but that win was in their most recent game and it was a convincing 4-0 away win against Sparta, so maybe they shouldn't be underestimated.

Twente are also quite a big favourite (x1.42) despite playing away against Fortuna Sittard, who are currently ranked 6th in the table.

But obviously Feyenorrd Vs AZ will be the most interesting one to watch. The bookies are not that convinced by AZ's great league performance so far, and they see Feyenoord as the favourite.

I do like to bet on goals for Eredivisie games, but I'm cautious of AZ Alkmaar because they seem like a team that will default to a low block in an attempt to keep the game as low-scoring as possible, especially if they know that they can't win. Over 2.5 would have been a nice leg with things considered.

If I'm not sure of their goal outcomes, I'd take the corners option. In a game as tough as this, there's bound to be plenty of corners but at the same time, you can bet on the draw or gg option, it might work.

Feyenoord Vs Alkmaar is a tough one when it comes to goal prediction.
Both usually play quite offensively, with Feyenoord currently being the top-scoring team in the Eredivisie after 7 rounds, but both also have the best defenses in the league. So we could have anything from a goalless draw to a double-digit number of goals.
I think it largely depends on how the game starts. If we have an early goal by either side, it could force the other team to get more adventurous and take more risks, which could then turn the game into a goal-for-goal exchange instead of playing cautiously.
The unpredictability is exactly what makes this game interesting.

Under the new rules, clubs that participate in European Cups, can request to change the dates of their league games should they need more time to recover.
There was a somewhat controversial situation when PSG was doing a similar thing in the French Ligue 1. I'm not sure if Ligue 1 had such rules officially in place, or if they were just making special exceptions to help PSG.

Anyhow, it should help Dutch teams a little bit in their European tournaments, although it could cause some disruptions to other Eredivisie clubs, who will have to adapt to unexpected changes to their game schedules.

We’ll finally get to see how PSV performs after the international break. And they’ll be playing at home tomorrow night. I personally think this Round 8 matchup against Heerenveen will be a great opportunity for PSV to secure all three points and solidify their position in the standings. I predict that PSV will dominate the match with determination as they’ll be looking to bounce back from their previous loss in Round 7 against FC Twente. On the other hand they’re a team that fully deserves to be considered one of the strongest in the Eredivisie given that they’ve won the championship consecutively over the past few seasons. I'm not sure PSV will play poorly when they face Heerenveen later. And I'm sure they'll win by a fairly large margin at least as big as in their last head-to-head match.

On the papers Feyernood may seem like the favourites especially if you consider how poor the AZ Alkmaar side have being lately but in this current circumstances you have to be very careful not to trust the big sides especially now that most of the players are resuming club football after a long FIFA break that took almost 3 weeks of international football, am a bit skeptical about this fixture and the teams involved.

The toughest challenge by far. Feyenoord is in crazy shape, it is insane how many goals they are scoring and therefore it makes perfect sense that they are pretty big favorites in a match at home. I am not sure yet about Alkmaar, I think they have to confirm the great early season so far. A match like this is the perfect test for them to see where they really stand.

Barcelona has been in a fine form this season so the Feyenoord thrashing didn't come as a surprise to me. Even PSV gets beaten often when it comes to European UCL matches so it was expected for Feyenoord. It's even worse for them because they got the best team in Europe right now.

PSV might have won tonight but that winning is just like a loss if we consider the number of goals scored. Betting PSV to win have very low odd, so many players will go with over 2.5 and over 3.5 goals which obviously seem like high probability bets and that would have lead to big losses. Just like you, I also expected high scoring match tonight but that was just a wish. I guess the champions league match is a huge factor in this match.

Loosing before the international break is as far from guarantors as it would get. I get a bit skeptical on gambling on these kind of bets given that, players from the top tier teams are usually the ones that gets called upon, many of them come back worn out or injured and the team don’t get to a good start easily, you can always bet on PS. To win though.

They obviously are the better team and playing from home, they would always want to get all 3 points in this one.

No doubt Win was sure for PSV, but the margin was not easy to predict because after the break it always takes time for players to have their best. The same happened in this first game; there were enough punters who were expecting 3 to 4 goals, but just two goals were scored by PSV, which gave it some serious losses.
Tomorrow a few interesting games are going to be played. First, between leaders AZ Alkmaar, who is going to visit Feyenoord, and then later Ajax going to host Nijmegen, the first game is going to be good and entertaining because AZ Alkmaar is doing good at the top and wants to stay at the top with their consistency, but Feyenoord is also doing good and has a fair chance of winning and jumping to the top of the league table.
Ajax surely has a good chance of winning and keeping themselves at top ranks even if things are not easy for them, but still they are also doing good.

Yeah, I noticed Google is becoming less and less reliable when it comes to sports events. I noticed they often get UFC cards wrong, but I didn't expect they could mess up football games stats. Or maybe they are just using other sources, and it's not always easy to classify shots on goal (and differentiate them from crosses, strong passes etc), I don't know.
