Well, it's another close loss for the team Crovengers. We had no chance to win the goal scorers part, but man we were so close to winning the ticket part. We only needed Real not to win and they managed to score a winning goal in the last minute of the game. The only good thing is that these losses doesn't mean much this early in the season and I guess that our luck has to turn around at some point.

About the game - I'd like somebody to tell me what the cumulative odds on 5 goals in 1 half + Real scoring 3 goals in the last 10 minutes are?
They are surely above 100, and both had to happen for us to lose the questionnaire.

Losing the ticket wasn't part of the plan but Lens screwed with me big time yesterday. Had another ticket for all CL games and missed only Lens both to score and over 2.5 goals on it. It was like 0.05 ETH for almost 5 ETH.

What the hell... You had picks for every single Champions League game and the only one that went wrong was the Lens game? At least the bet slip was done so early as Lens was one of the first games, I was just shocked now for a second because I wanted to ask whether you couldn't hedge, but no you couldn't.

Nope, only first day of action and not all games. I missed one or two but had solid odds on all others, had Bayern and Barca games as over 4.5 goals and stuff like that.

A similar situation happened to us in the 1st round when we lost by 1 goal, and now we lost by a goal in the 90th minute, we are really unlucky.
Real were losing 3:1 until the 83rd minute and then scored 3 goals in 7 minutes, unbelievable!
It doesn't matter, it's better to be unlucky now, in the group stage of the competition, than when we will really need it, in the knockout stage of the competition.
We also can't wait for our "local derby".
Now it's time for our team to regroup, analyze the previous 2 rounds and come back with a new, winning strategy.

To me it makes more sense to go with lower odds if you expect an opponent to go for a higher odds. Then if you get a winning ticket, you just have to hope their ticket fails and you win.

Thinking of it, if you go with lower odds knowing that your opponents will go with higher, you actually make it more difficult because not only you still need to win your ticket (which it isn't easy no matter the odds, as we have seen with Bayern game), but you also have to hope that your opponents won't win theirs.

Must admit I was a bit confused at first, because I was already preparing for the next match.
I'm planning to rewatch Gomorra Season 1 + 2 for scouting purposes.
Can't wait for the ultimate showdown against "Cromorra" next week - not only here in RTG but in BSFL too!

You had selected the question answers, picked the goalscorers and suggested to me to keep the Bayern vs Viking match as an option instead of including them in the bet slip. I was quite optimistic about Bayern's victory and wanted to go with -2.50 handicap. We would have lost the bet if I went with that by ignoring the suggestions.

I didn't expect to win against '2 Gals 1 Klopp' by a 3 - 0 margin. They were a strong opponent, and our captain 'Dump3er' wasn't available when we were discussing about the submission. Although the luck plays a key role here, I hope we will manage to do good in the upcoming game weeks.

It didn't take that long to prove your point . How can it be that a match has 0 goals in the first half and then ends 3:2? And to see Real go from 3:1 to 3:4 in the last seconds is beyond my comprehension. Out of all the matches, it happens in these two specific matches and bites me in the ass. I cannot believe it. From a sure point in the first half and 'this will be easy' to 'OMG, how did I lose this?'.

Wow, we won against the BUSHIDO team thanks to just a single question! I wasn't particularly worried about the lost bet, since, given the number of unexpected results, I expected my opponents to lose their bet as well. I am also surprised that, despite the huge disparity in the answers regarding goalscorers (I thought everyone would pick at least four of the same names), the score here turned out to be tied. I hope the next win will be more convincing, I’ll try to place a reliable bet (if such a thing is even possible during circus group stage).

When we lose, there is no analyzing, we wait for the next week and then we think well about what we will do . When the local derby comes, the league will already be going on for a while and we will fight for important points. Regarding the goal difference, i think we got eliminated in the last RTG because of that one goal. Small things are what affect the standings, but honestly it is interesting.

Top of the table but I have to say, we got lucky,,, we all know we did if we bet on Real Madrid   Good to see things going nicely but remember guys group stage is honestly not important as we will probably get the bottom guys do extra special effort for the knockouts, while the top guys will all feel too big. Aim for middle and consistency

Probably now you can see why they made that decision, the game is tied and honestly I do not think this helps both your team sundowns, if result remains like this I think that you guys might lose this encounter. Hopefully Real Madrid turns up in the second half and most importantly Mbappe gets more than one goal in the second half

We still won the round, but this time I won’t say we were lucky with the win. I knew the goalscorers will turn up for us but I never thought that Real Madrid was going to do a comeback and win that game. The last 10 minutes of the game was the most decisive part they gave us hope again. 6 points in the bag, now let’s get prepared for our next opponent.
