PSG was in a great form towards the end of last two seasons as they won the Champions League final with almost five goals against Inter Milan, that final was not like a final game because the match wasn’t as tough as expected; and after that incredible performance, there was no reason Tottenham was going to stop them because Tottenham wasn’t playing well in the premier league, they were only dedicated to play the Europa League and they are lucky to have won it then, that was why the Super Cup final was like that.

Luis Enrique beat all the English team last season and now it's time to do again. Technically psg played calm and transition football and English team use high press football so that's the main Reason psg succeed against english team last season. English team can't handle the psg pressure and that's why Tottenham lost last season. I would ask the questions in a slightly different order: how did Tottenham, which are used to 17th place in the Premier League, manage to take a 2-goal lead against PSG? The ending was dramatic, but that often happens when the underdog supposedly "just a little" falls short of beating the favorite.

I said yesterday that I would make my final decisions when I have seen the lineups for tonight's super cup. Well, I have seen the lineups and the players on the bench. Judging from the squad quality, PSG has to win it. I barely recognize anyone from Villa midfield except for Mcginn and maybe Buendia. The rest, I don't know. As for PSG, the only midfield player in their midfield trio is Fabrian Ruiz but that's okay because Zaire-Emery used to start games for PSG last season. I expect PSG to win this game without any doubt and I would be very surprised if they lose to this Villa team.

You know, I looked at different combinations of "reliable" odds and they didn't impress me. At first I wanted to pass by, but then I remembered the confrontation between these coaches (Barcelona - PSG 6-1, Barcelona - Sevilla 5-4), looked at Aston Villa's results in friendly games and thought it would be better to take a risk and bet on a fun evening. The score 3-1 in favor of PSG looks quite normal, Aston Villa will not sit at home either, so corners will be taken. But if I “suddenly” don’t win a bet with odds of 5.2, I won’t be upset.

Omar Artan should be proud of himself for having the recognition of being the referee in this big game. The factors you mentioned are very important, Aston Villa's key players have left the team. They've even played matches with their new teams. However, since this is a cup match, Aston Villa will try their best with their new players. PSG is a very difficult team to stop, but Aston Villa will try in this match. I remember last year, despite being heavy favorites against Tottenham, PSG drew and won the cup on penalties. So, even though I'm saying PSG will win easily right now, football is played on the pitch. Aston Villa still has a chance, of course.
