Since the company started this STRC, I know this will happen. We are going to later know Strategy plan, but I think they have long term plan for bitcoin buying.

They definitely have a plan, we will find out later, I guess they might create panic in the market and if the price of Bitcoin is low they will take the opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a low price. They have a huge amount of Bitcoin reserves where they are selling a small amount of Bitcoin but this is to distribute the dividends of these shares of STRC.
Because this is the strategy of the big whale holders they will create panic in the market and later buy Bitcoin in larger quantities which is why they are hoarding cash.

Kidding aside, I think it's liquidation. I don't know what "change anything" means, but I think it will move the market. But it will not collapse. It's part of their proof of concept, and it was approved by their executive leaders.
The only problem here is that they said on their initial investment that they are going to "buy and hold". Of course, that is only a marketing strategy and to keep the investors from coming in, making the value of Bitcoin stronger. It's actually successful, and they are reaping the rewards.

No body should Panic over these types of News because, strategy has made it clear that they will be selling off some of their holdings. Strategy is a company that is open to the public the last time I checked. As a big whale that strategy is the most important part of these types of moves is not about selling but, the aftermath effect of large sale because prices is expected to drop after moves like this from companies like strategy.

I think that institutional buying and selling has come to influence the market depending on what the company is doing whether they are buying or selling. If a whale dumps large amounts of Bitcoin price is surely going to be affected because, there is going to be a drop of price.

Micro Strategy have indeed done well in terms of large bitcoin accumulations and as a financial institution, their know how to apply both the risk and advantages that comes with various phases of the market, and taking action along that line.
But what is there right now is that if you compared their accumulation level and sells level you will discover that micro Strategy have shifted focus from accumulation of bitcoin and now looking at other aspects of investment like AI development and the rest of the newer projects.

Micro strategy selling some portion of their Bitcoin will doesn't change anything in the market, Bitcoin has grown to extent where selling of that portion does not affect the market again. It will only make a headline and case panic to some plebs but trust me that amount doesn't shake the market a bit. And moreover people already know them for doing that, they will soon buy back again so what's The need to worry about. If somehow it's going to affect the market then it should be just for short term and nothing more.

Institutional buying and selling always affects the market and that is why Microstrategy is taking full advantage of that. For every time they announce of a sell of their assets, no matter how little they’re going to sell, the market always show the effect and we see a sudden price drop even though the market doesn’t stay long trading at a lower price after the sell.

Microstrategy after that then buy more bitcoin for a lower price and accumulate more quantity than what was sold off before, this then boosts the price of the market more as the effect is shown again when market react to the huge buying of bitcoin from them again. Everything now looks like a plan idea as he continues to repeat same thing again, not the first or second time.

The only thing that will surely get attention are the critics behind Michael or Strategy I guess but I think the market will just absorb it.

But there are so many people selling right now; it is not just Microstrategy, it is not just Saylor, the entire market is selling, the price is crashing. We have gone from 125k to even under 60k, and that means there are so many people selling, from regular small time poor retail investors to big blackrock level of investors; they all sold during this period, so it is really making no sense to me that it is just Microstrategy that is getting all this much hate for it.

Because everyone wants someone to blame and Microstrategy is a perfect target considering Saylor said so that he'll be bullish and won't sell. Easy to blame that they just sold 0.2% of their holdings and people are already talking. I don't think they will care though, they'll probably just let the market talk while also make another move. People need to realize whoever holds what they own has the right to also sell, whatever or whenever they feel like it.

No, institution buying and selling do not changes anything even though they are mostly large holders.
Their immediate actions may have a positive or negative effect on the market at a particular point in time, but on the longer run It would not because Bitcoin has gone past that level where it price can be easily manipulated by a whale or a group of investors.

Not only is this MicroStrategy selling its bitcoin but what is happening with the market there is no reaction whatsoever right? The drop below 5% was still reasonable due to market volatility, anyways Saylor and his company will not sell in the global market will not affect liquidity now.

No need to panic --- since he said he would not sell his bitcoin, and now he has sold it several times, so there is no consistent institution and do not be too influential on this kind of news.

The price of Bitcoin didn't react massively to the dumps by Strategy because there is also high demand. In addition, I think the market has gotten used to Strategy dumping because the company had already stated that they might keep selling in the future. Bitcoin has really performed above my expectations, as I had expected that the conflict in the Middle East would have had a more adverse influence on the price.

To conclude, in response to the question of whether institutional trades influence the market, my answer is yes—but for the worse for us. Bitcoin has become “Wall Street-ized,” and it’s going through the same thing that happened with gold back in the day: the price isn’t determined purely by the supply and demand of actual Bitcoin.

Since I joined this forum I remember people discussing when "they" would get involved in the Bitcoin story - and now that they have, many people don't understand why 1 BTC isn't still worth at least $1 million. For me, it was something inevitable, not something bad in general - because if I bought coins for $200, and they buy for several hundred times the price, it is not at all disputed who is stupid in that story.

Of course, they use everything possible to make as much profit as possible, and the market has no mercy for the weak and inexperienced - regardless of whether it is gold or Bitcoin.

Absolutely, there were plenty of discussions about institutional money entering the Bitcoin space, there was even
questions about when Amazon might add Bitcoin payments as a purchasing option. There was/are a lot of people
who believe "Bitcoin" needs these vulture investors in order to move forward/survive/increase in value?

Truth is they couldnt care less about the Bitcoin idea, they really care about the Bitcoin market and what profits

The quantity sold is big but it's not a large amount of their holdings. The amount sold is not even up to 1% of what they are holding. It actually does not change anything but if we are talking about the price, it will show effect but not as much as people usually assumed when they hear about institutions selling parts of their holdings. The institutional buy and sell is not what actually affects the market but what triggers their action to buy or sell is what mostly matters. Whatever their reason for selling is, we'll forget about it in few weeks to come.
