Can workers and politicians become very rich without stealing and being corrupt

I've heard many interviews from millionaires and billionaires who categorically tells their interviewers that nobody can become rich working

I don't know the amount of money in your own understanding that can be the benchmark for someone to become rich but I know of someone in my neighborhood who became extremely rich working for somebody else, he just finish building a new church for his church members worth over 100 million Naira and he has a foundation that pays the less privilege studying in the university scholarship, so I disagree with you that nobody can become rich working for somebody else.

Speaking of Naira, the firm matters, not every organization will want to provide that luxury for its employees. Sometimes those funds are looted and because we can't categorically say how that fellow made the money it is difficult for me to acknowledge such success.

I know only few companies in Nigeria have a thriving environment where their employees can grow and invest with their earnings and one of such are oil and gas firms. In most cases people who work for others without having their own investment overtime end up living average or even poor except for cases where employees build their own brand and investment and grow them to maturity.

Working for someone else’s wont get you rich, no matter how much your may be earning from that work. The minimum wages ain’t structured to make you rich.while working for someone else’s, your time and energy is tied a particular pay that you can’t even do another thing to earn you money. Most especially if you’re working with a private firm your schedule are already tight such that you barely have time for other businesses that can get you rich. If you look at the most successful people on earth are never workers.
Politics can actually get you rich but there definitely has to stolen funds. if you are in politics and you don’t involve in embezzlement you might as well not get rich with just your basic salaries. First step to getting rich is actually thinking of investments that will generate you a leveraged income while you’re not even physically present.

Who is talking about minimum wage? You can be a surgeon, specialized engineer and you quickly have more money then you need. Rest of that you can just invest and put in savings. You don't need to work too many years on a right position and you are considered to be rich (if that's your goal).

And just because trump family is illegally using their position to enrich themselves, that doesn't all politicians would enrich themselves that way. There are other ways. And personally, i think that only people whose goal is to be rich can see that as a success. Not everyone has same goals, some see success being good at their jobs, being good parents and just decent people.

Also, OP. There are zero studies linking IQ to income, so you definitely don't need to be genius to make money.

Currently, the problem with wealthy politicians is undoubtedly that they have stolen. Regarding the claim that working for someone else will prevent you from ever becoming rich, they are right. The reason for working for someone else is to earn money, save it, and invest it in a good asset like Bitcoin. And the complicit and corrupt people hate that those who are not like them comes clean. They only want to see those who is as corrupt as them come around them alone. Definitely a person that works for somebody else can become rich without stealing from their employers and you have also given insight into how that can happen, from the conclusion of what you said they will easily achieve their aim when they finally become their own boss. When working for somebody and you have plans of growing very big within yourself you should see the job you're doing as a stepping stone to achieving your aim, maybe to stay in the job and gather experience and to save money to start up your own. Except you're working for a very big and established brand where you a part of the top management you can hardly become rich working for a one man business.

Many employees and politicians that are public workers knows that employers and the government can only pay you what they figure that you would be comfortable with, they don't make plans for you to become rich. Salaries can hardly make you to be rich and I believe that this is the reason why some workers and politicians steal so much from the positions that they occupy to become very rich.

I think in this case the wealth becomes relatively dependent on the standard created by the person, when saying rich but the standard is a big businessman with wealth everywhere and being the boss in the company it will be difficult when compared to workers who are under it so that setting this standard depends on each person in the definition of rich.

As for politicians or officials in the government, in fact, it can still happen (rich) even if they are without corruption (in my country). I live in a country where corruption is like a culture but for a government that does not want to do corruption, they will actually be considered rich as long as they serve as government officials. Their salaries are quite small but their benefits are very large and can even be tens of times the basic salary so that they can be rich by the standards in my country. But because basically humans always have a greedy nature what they get is always considered less so that even though the salary is large but corruption remains a problem that cannot be solved.

Yep, what makes you money is your Entrepreneurial abilities, your desire to make money and your persistence in following through necessary steps required to achieve your goal. Good command of soft skills and a good attitude gets people further ahead in wealth creation than intelligence. It is not about the IQ, IQ can be upgraded by anyone, IQ without necessary social qualifications and being a good team member would see a company give necessary opportunities to a person of lower IQ instead.

Studies have shown that those who has mastered how to relate with others and show passion in their work has higher chances of being wealthy than those who are more intelligent with limited social skills.

In a working environment, if the head is corrupt, you can hardly go far if you're rigid. Sometimes it is a question of being flexible to some extent, flexibility can entail adding extra incentives to successors to motivate them give you more output which isn't planned from the onset, but can be contained in the budget. In the end, the output is always used to measure your abilities and if you can motivate people to perform optimally, you're definitely headed for the top and can command riches.

Almost all countries face one common problem, and that is corruption. Obviously, different countries have varying corruption rates, primarily because developing countries tend to have higher corruption rates. This problem becomes more painful when politicians use this amount for personal gain own benefit. Can we claim that every politician is it? In my personal opinion, the majority of the political community is corrupt, and the actual reasons behind this problem are weak accountability and poor management systems. Ordinary people meet their basic needs with a limited income, which they generate through different sources.

What's the average income of your community where you live? In parallel, corrupt and criminal politicians conduct politics through which they make money through corruption and have the thought that nobody can rise question on this matter. That's the main reason that promotes corruption more, and gradually it's become a culture. But not all politicians are corrupt. Some individuals have a merciful mindset. They help the public by facilitating them by giving them their basic rights, like good health, education, and other needs. Can we reduce the rate of corruption? Obviously, we can do that, and in this way, accountability is the main weapon.

There is a lack of equality in opportunity. Most billionaires did not start from nothing. They were beginning from "not catastrophic". Parents who can deal with your failure for a year or two so you can figure it out. That changes everything.

Now the corruption part. Politicians do not steal because they are lacking in entrepreneurial thinking. They steal because there is pretty low friction against stealing in their system. Lack of institutions, lack of transparency, normalisation of preceding actors' activities.

A good person is placed in a broken system, and after a while, the system wins. Almost always.

And your advice kind of falls apart for me. Not everyone is at the same starting point, but with different attitudes. Being smart and having purpose is not a key to wealth. It is all about the proximity to the capital. Moving towards ownership, equity, assets that compound. All other comments are moot.

Is it possible to be rich without stealing? Yes absolutely. But not by "thinking like the rich". Knowing what it is that you do not have that the rich do. And it was never just ambition.

Yes, it's possible for a worker to become rich without stealing or being corrupt and that can be achieved by having a side business, getting a skill outside work there are some Tech skills that pays heavily and one can even earn much more than the monthly salary. A worker can also own a brand and there are some assets and investments you can make that eanes you money without you being present or showing up there every single day.

We know that all these can only be possible in a country that the system works very well, we're living in a society where most politicians and worker's think that stealing and corruption pays faster because being honest will take you years to become rich. Politicians I believe can become rich by their services and reputation, or even from their businesses acquired before office, but all these will be difficult considering how much these politicians spend during campaigns, most already have agreement from their parties and sponsors, and people trust or praise those politicians who are generous to them compared to the honest one's.

It is very rare to see especially politician's who aren't stealing or being corrupt as politics is quite expensive and I strongly believe that it is also possible for them to become rich, if the system is working like rewarding honesty and their services likewise workers.

I think greed is just the one word to use and summarize this whole issue of politicians and other workers especially civil servants not being satisfied with their annual salaries. There are so many civil servants working in government institutions like in the hospital for example who are actively using most government equipments as theirs. Medical doctors working for a government hospital won’t just focus on their job in the hospital as a government employee, they go behind and establish their own private hospitals outside, and pretend they don’t have any of such. they mostly will convert some government equipment into their own personal use in their private hospitals.

That's what majority of people are thinking and to me it's definitely not, even though some jobs are well paying that can make someone rich depend on the position you are holding at your work. A worker or a politicians can also be working without depending on the salary depend on the inflation of the country you're living in. Majority of the people that are involved in doing such illegal acts are always trying to find the excuses, that without curruption their jobs can not sustain them, talk more of investing in other jobs and after their retirement they will be left with nothing.

Both the honest and dishonest politicians in my country are so wealthy, infact they earn a whole lot that even some successful business men around the world...The reason why so many of them still decide to go into crimes such as stealing and all sort of corrupt practices is because of their greedy nature... They aren't contended with what they have because why then will someone who already have several houses, expensive cars, investments, access to huge sums of money stashed in different offshore accounts, still want to steal public funds, that's clearly because they are greedy

Based on the availability of job offers and the high cost of living do you think you can get a job that will be way above your needs right now?  Some people are looking for the opportunity to get a job they are tired of waiting for the perfect job that will suit their demands cause there's high rate of unemployment in that case they have to manage the available job just to survive before thinking about business. You need moeny to establish a business so in case you will have to accept what is available which is where you will decide if you will depend on your pay or if you will do otherwise.

I'm going to make an example here in my country where politicians, like a senator, have a salary of around 5000$ usually around 300k here in our local currency. I mean that was a huge amount of money for anyone, and if you're going to ask if that could make anyone rich if you are earning 300k per month, or at least make you financially free where your income is probably x3 of your expenses ( still depending on your expenses) but I guess 100k expenses was already enough for a person here in my country probably that was already on a luxury side where mostly buying a lot of things, food, gadgets etc.

Im not a politician but in my opinion it was possible to be rich without stealing, we don't know how easy for them to take a money if they have control on it, so mostly they were just blinded by the huge amount and I think the system was already broken a long time ago that is why all or most of the politicians are corrupt because they probably get pick by someone if they where pointing something wrong or they where not following the wrong system.

Still, the end goal to get rich was to have a business, since that is just the only way to multiply your money. 300k was probably a good amount, but if you are aiming for a higher number, you need a business that could generate a high amount but also have high risk. So surely having a business was surely just one of the way to do it.

Investing in something that will continually generate income is still a way of accumulating more wealth. Even the richest man wants to accumulate more wealth because money is never enough for any man, our needs are insatiable and we will always want more.
Considering the current situation of the economy with high rate of inflation, is more reason one should accumulate more wealth, because there will be a time when your current income would not longer be enough to sort your bills.
