Yes having access to money in this case purchasing power, can help to satisfy a lot of wants and also solve immediate problems. Having money can also open new opportunities in terms of having access because of finance, for example, a person with a favourable statement if account from planning for education or visit from a developing to a developed nation stand a better chance of having a visa, than those who have an unfavourable statement of account.
Money is like a magic "key" that allows to open new (and more) doors.
However, a greater access to finance, can also change the structure of the problems that can arise. A person with higher access to income would naturally have a change of taste with; housing, choice of car, clothing and vacation etc..
That isn't always the case. If a person doesn't feel the need to show off in a cheap way, it’s not a problem for them. For instance, W.Buffett doesn't drive a Bentley - or have you seen how B.Gates dresses?
A bigger house would surely come with a bigger cost of running, including more staff in place, a luxury car also comes with a higher maintenance cost,
A more "comfortable" standard of living requires greater investment - that is true.
then there's a need to appear in designer clothes and off course a need to see the rest of the world, obviously travelling is one of the draining forces to finance, as it can pose to be outrageously expensive.
A
need for designer clothes and to travel the world?

Sounds funny.
Furthermore the need to maintain these new normals, is actually time consuming. You would need timing to plan a bigger house, maintenance can also be time consuming, as mention the time forgive in planning networking or travels.
Hired specialists can handle this.
Such time could have been utilized productively somewhere else. Another problem has surely resurfaced.
Anywhere else? While traveling, for example?

It’s not such a terrible problem, really.
What we through money is a transformation of scarcity rather than completely eliminating it.
Money can buy almost all resources. Except for one thing - time (can't extend your lifespan). But at the same time, they allow you to “buy” time from others to satisfy your needs. For example, the same home care staff. They spend their time on this routine, while you can use the freed up time (that you would have spent) on other tasks. For example, lying on the beach.
Don't get me wrong though, this doesn't mean acquiring wealth should suddenly become undesirable, the key component here is financial discipline. Without discipline money can obviously buy comfort, but unnecessary comfort also come with complexities.
Any difficulties can be overcome when such goals are set. I imagine that many people here are not at all daunted by the challenges associated with excessive comfort; the main thing for them is simply having that abundance of comfort.
