I was hoping to see the op list the actual problems of having money but he didn't, instead, he was listing choices that can be made based on your desire. If you earn or make an increase in your income it's your choice to buy luxury like getting a bigger house or getting a more expensive car. Those are things that are still within your paycheck or your income so it's basically not a problem, where it becomes a problem is when you buy what you can't afford to maintain. The real problems of becoming rich is actually security, you can't leave a normal life like the average person anymore. There would be a lot of restricted zones you can't enter without security.

You for free that with money, you can buy even more free time for yourself and that's just the power of money and yes those points you mentioned about how money produces more problems can be just valid for a person who doesn't know the power of money because for someone to acquire a $1m car, I personally don't think the cost of repairs and maintenance should be such a persons problem and yes the cost of staffing can be ignored by someone who doesn't know the worth of their time but for a wealthy man, time is money and that is why they have to hire people to help them get their chores done, and that's not waste of money but rather buying more time for more productivity.

Yes having access to money in this case purchasing power, can help to satisfy a lot of wants and also solve immediate problems. Having money can also open new opportunities in terms of having access because of finance, for example, a person with a favourable statement if account from planning for education or visit from a developing to a developed nation stand a better chance of having a visa, than those who have an unfavourable statement of account.

I would say the biggest "problem" of having money is that it comes with lots of responsabilities. You will have to spend your time managing it properly, otherwise, it goes away... People think that to have money is only fun and freedom. But it's not. You have to give up on a lot of leisure to maintain your money or to grow it.

Yes the more money you get means that your responsibilities would increase because your expenses will multiply many times depending on the level that you want to mantain, some people will say the more money you get the more problems you will see but the problems would be nothing if you have money to take care of them. One of the big problems of money is how to manage it, if you cannot manage your riches you will gradually lose it, some people says that it is easier to become rich than managing to remain rich, that is why you will see rich people who became poor due to their poor financial management. Wrong work always has a wrong result, so wrong work costs money and is done easily. Investing money is easy, but we do not know where the problems that will arise after that will take us. Investing money and working by recommendation is not good, but it is wrong and one day you will also get problems for it. Honestly speaking OP, I really don't see any of what you mentioned as a problem per-se... When there is money, what concern you with planning and all of the other stuffs that the average or poor folks engage themselves in... Most rich folks today employs staffs that plans for them- These staff are in charge of planning what they eat, the car they drive, places and appointments they go to, the type of house they live in, and all of that.. These folks rarely concern themselves with decision making , since they already have paid staffs that do it so perfectly for them.. Even in the aspect of traveling and all of that, not many rich folks travel, since most happens to be introverts and so limit the places they even go to... Then again, there may still be problems, but am sure it will always be such that the wealth can actually take care of( except for those problems that are above human control like sicknesses, death and whatnot)...

People think having lots of money will make their life much easier but there are lots of problem that someone never face when they have less money and they could not ready at all. But compare to someone who doesn't have money, people will choose to have lots of money since living in this world already comes with lots of problem and even myself will choose having lots of money with new problems.

There's something that we couldn't control either we have money or not that's why problem will always comes to us, it depends on how we face it and sometimes when we face it with wrong move we could lose something precious to us, take example when someone have more money than before but he spend it for gambling instead, end up losing all of his money. If someone can't manage their life properly, then I doubt they would be able to manage their money properly either, in that case I don't think they are ready to become rich.

If there is one thing I know, problem or rather challenges is constant ad it morphs according to your progression  so when you are poor your or problem might be your next meal or your child education fees and the rest but when you become richer probably through huge companies, it becomes board members, market stocks fighting of competitions and oppressors and above all security. The point is, money does have many uses, and it can also be a lot of trouble. But still, I think the most determining factor for us to be comfortable or not is not a lot of money or not, but still up to us. The point is, even if we have a lot of money, but if we can control ourselves well, I think it will be okay. OP, i think it is still rational for lifestyle to rise in line with income and usually it is adjust gradually. Based on my personal experiences, before spending money i always have self awareness. Simple example, when my salary is only USD 300/mo, it’s not yet time for me to experience the pleasures of fine dining, if my salary USD 1000/mo then It makes sense to give it a try.

Living frugally does not mean we need to live as cheaply as possible. What we need is to live sustainably. Nowdays we face a VUCA world, at least we need to ensure that our lifestyle change does not exceed financial ability. We often hear that gen z often need healing for mental health nowdays, these problem emerge due to they sepend money to escape the financial pressure that they actually created themselves, what they need spend money for recovering to become productive. As long as not using debt, daily needed safe, emergency fund on its line, financial goal not sacrificed, we give amount limit by our selves and not let stress get to us then healing is acceptable.

What we should understand that what financial discipline pillar's role, it can maximize our financial healthy and our quality of life without creating unnecessary complexity or simply said stressless.

The way you choose to live your life is your choice and regardless the way you decide to live your life, you will still find people in that class that are ready to mingle with you and make you adapt into accepting that standard of life. what you look at as one of the disadvantage of being rich is like that because you have never acquired that level of wealth and financial freedom.

Any kind of problem that money brings to you, lack of money will bring double or triple of that kind of money. there have never been an instance where lacking money became of more advantage that having it, never has that been the case.

There will always be some problems in human life, it will never end, and you are right in saying that problems in life never end completely, rather the type of problems changes with the position and responsibility of the person. There is always the next task in human life, this happens every day in daily life, and people have to meet these kinds of problems every day. So the main thing is to adapt to your position.
But we can never consider the common daily tasks as problems, the next meal, the cost of children's education, these things are very common for every person, everyone has to do it, and as long as you are alive, these things will remain and no matter what your position is here, whether you are rich or poor, you have to eat food every day and you have to bear all its expenses until the child becomes an adult and earns his own income, this is a responsibility, this is not a problem.

Whether a person will have problem after aquiring a good sum of it depends on the person's character.  Acquiring money on its own is not a problem and even having more money is also not a problem.  The problem lies on the ambition and contentment of the person.

If the person is content to what he has while still acquiring good sum of money, this person won't have any shortage of money nor encounter problems with money shortage.  Aside from that, if the person is financially literate, he will know when to buy stuff that will not hinder his needs.

So, aside from bad people targeting a person due to his wealth or the government eyeing the person for taxes, I do not think money can cause a problem as long as the person knows what he is doing.

For sure anything that has advantage also comes with disadvantage of which money is not exclusive, but I think the advantage of money can't be compared with that of the disadvantage because when you don't have money, literally you're nothing.

Well I understand the point you are trying to make, but you will also consider the magnitude of the kind of money that person has or is controlling before talking about complexity. The only situation where your money produces problem instead of solving problem is when your money is not enough and instead of taking deciplinary action you start spending extravagantly. The point here is wether the money is small or huge we must learn self decipline in other not to overspend to the extent of our money bringing more problem to us instead of solving, because many people are currently in this situation. Some has gotten drunk and killed someone out of carelessness and now they are having court case and this case is draining their money and sucking them dry. Some out of arrogance have involved into a serious case where there money can no longer solve their problem. We should just be careful to avoid problem bigger than our money.
