When an information is being passed especially when it has to do with a beginner breaking a forum rule it might seem harsh but everything that's said to them is to correct them so they can put in more effort and do better. Getting discouraged is never an option because everyone knows the benefits of being in the forum. It is very important to prioritize reading as a beginner to guide you so you don't make careless mistakes. It is impossible to know everything at the beginning but with time you can gradually make improvements I'd you learn.
When the beginners join the forum so sometime they consider correction a harsh feedback and became disheart actually these correction improve our posting quality but newbie become so emotional due to these corrections no one can learn all the rules in one day it takes time .
Inasmuch as newbies can’t learn the rules of the forum everyday it would be advised they keep an eye on the rules each day in other to get it attached to their memory. And it’s not a matter of knowing the rules alone but the most important thing is the adhere to them because most mistake can get one’s account banned permanently.Just as @rachael9385 has said, there are a lot of benefits that comes from being a member of this forum,so it would be so painful if you let you account go down because of ignorance,so lastly I would encourage every newbie to become familiar with the forum rules even as it wouldn’t take a day to be conversant with them and also adhere to them because a penalty is attached to each rule when violated.
Your point of view is very obvious that id we do not follow the rules of this forum then there is a risk of losing account knowing the rules is one thing but adopting these rules in our dailly life save us from permanent ban .
Losing your account just because of a user ignorance is really painful temporary efforts keep our account save and its also increase our learning skills so we should regularly follow the forum rules to save our hardwork and struggle.

Getting discouraged wont change the forum from what it is, the forum is concerned in maintaining it to exist for the purpose why it is being created. The forum is for those who are ready to learn and to follow the rules and regulations. If the forum choose not to go by their rules and members do whatever they like i dont think this place will be like the kind of place where we want to be. The forum must keep to its standard and let those who can learn to meet with the standard of the forum occupy and for those who find it difficult and cant meet with the standard,  their is nothing that can be done but to face the consequences of breaking the rule.

Those that are new in this forum can’t actually know all the forum rules at once, the longer you stay in this forum the more you know the rules very well.
‎
‎If you are new here don’t put too much pressure on yourself to know everything at once, just take it one step at a time.
‎The longer you stay here the more things you will know.
‎
‎We shouldn’t be too harsh on newbies for breaking some simple rules in this forum because some of them actually broke the rule out of ignorance.
‎
‎When I newly joined this forum I didn’t know all the rules, but the longer I stayed the more familiar those rules were to me.

It's just true. We can't really know everything all at once. It takes time and patience to learn. The first day I signed up, it was a hell of write ups everywhere I saw. At first, it was scary. Like, where do I start from, but gradually, I started reading some. Most of the topics are really interesting to read and full of knowledge. Everything is just a gradual process, and slowly knowledge and understanding about the forum will come.

Practice makes perfect, you cannot expect to be good at something when you are just getting introduced to it. This applies to the forum as well, you learn gradually by reading and also asking questions. The reason why a lot of beginners break the forum rules a lot of times is because they sign up and then they start thinking of how to grow their account immediately instead of thinking about how they can grow their account.

Rules aren’t what you get to practice if you aren’t a legal practitioner and in their case, it is law. Rules are just meant to be followed, to serve as guidelines on how you operate, more like moderating your behavior in the forum.

Most beginners break the forum rules because they are ignorant to them, just don’t get to notice the sticky thread or find them to be of much importance and many are just inclined to writing more than reading. Once the reply box is available to them, they always feel the best thing to narrow things down to a quick start in the forum would be to just ask and get answer.

I agree that it’s not everyone that can know all forum rules immediately after they  just joined. It’s with time and experience that someone can be able to understand things much better. Newbies are suppose to take it slow at a time. Visit meta board and read pinned post in all the various board. Even old members can still learn new things through reading pinned posts.

I think it would have been very convenient if you had shared Laudas thread Newbies read before posting in your opening post which is required reading, but otherwise I agree with you. And I appreciate you writing this when you already have some experience and not just after signing up, as is common lately on this board: you know meta and reputation, they may not be the most appropriate sections for a newbie to write, but they are for reading and learning a lot about this place.
Thank you for pointing that out I agree that Laudas newbies  read before posting thread is very useful especially for someone who is new to the forum I will make sure to read it carefully because I believe understanding the rules and how the forum works is important before making posts.

I also appreciate your advice about the Meta and Reputation sections. Even if they are not the best places for a newbie to post I can still learn a lot by reading the discussions there i am still learning and trying to understand how everything works so advice from experienced members is really helpful to me
What is the most important thing you think a new member should learn before making their first few posts on the forum?

When I joined this forum, the approach I took worked very well for me, although it worked for me, it does not mean that it will work for everyone, but I am sharing my real experience with you. In the beginning, I used to read everyone's comments and very rarely replied to everyone's comments. After reading everyone's comments, I used to get bored at some point and did not want to read.

After that, I started replying to everyone's comments along with reading them and gradually I read and replied a lot, then I did not feel bored and I started reading a lot. It is not possible to read and remember the rules at the same time, so read them slowly and follow the rules. You can read the comments of Reputation because through Reputation, a lot is said about the mistakes made by everyone. From Reputation, you can know about the rules of the forum.

The very first thing one should do as a newbie once you are a member or join any group, forum, or organization is give critical attention to their rules.
In my country, once you become 18 years, old and go against the laws of the country, the law will not spare you because you're taking your time to study the law. Ignorance of the laws is not an excuse and can't spare you.

The rules here are the laws governing this forum and should be given urgent attention to understand before you start your activity, because let's say, for instance, you commit plagiarism as a newbie, which is against the ethics of this forum. Do you expect them to pardon you because you're taking time to know the rules? When they're there for you to study in the first place before operating, if they spare you, then they've created a loophole for others to see it as an excuse to plagiarize too.

You need to know what is the purpose of the bitcointalk forum. The purpose of this forum is to improve yourself by entering the store of knowledge. Just like Bitcoin is a store of value, this forum is a store of knowledge. Enter the forum for the purpose of gaining knowledge and spread your own talent among others.

Learn about Bitcoin and gain knowledge about investing by analyzing the market. Self-realization will take you to a high position. You said about gaining knowledge gradually, I will say that gradually accumulate Bitcoin as you gain knowledge.

Each board of the forum is very important, but among them, I think Bitcoin Discussion and Economics boards are more important. There is no fixed limit to gaining knowledge. You can be engaged in gaining knowledge until death, but learning will never end. Do not forget the main purpose - to improve yourself, both in terms of knowledge and financially. By gaining knowledge about Bitcoin through the bitcointalk forum and investing in Bitcoin in the long term, you can benefit financially.

Those that are new in this forum can’t actually know all the forum rules at once, the longer you stay in this forum the more you know the rules very well.

Learning is a gradual process, as a newbies when you come into a place where you dont know anything about calming down is what you actually need, there is no need to rush because you end up not successful at the end of the day. So that is why its always good to learn small small, the forum is very large sections by sections so coming here need to be very patience and consistency is the main thing.

Read and read again, what you dont know you can ask the forum members, we are always active here, that is how everyone become successful to where they are as of today.

Overconfidence can make anyone to lose their guard. Even the most experienced members can make mistakes the moment they begin to assume that they know everything about the forum. Things can change at anytime and depending on your previous experience and knowledge can be really tricky sometimes but always taking time to learn can help even the most experienced people, you know what they say, learning never ends, even a newbie can teach a thing or two to an experienced member.

I aslo think someone been an expert to something or been an experienced member doesn’t mean you have to be right all the time, but what some experts do not understand is that’s nobody is to little not to teach anyone, in fact it shouldn’t be a big deal if a newbie put me through something I have no knowledge on, and what matters most is to be willing to reconsider your position when someone presents a better understanding of he’s, could you believe that a newbie might not have spent the whole last years, but they can still notice something that an experienced member overlooked….

Only pride and overconfidence makes anyone feel they know it all. Learning they say never ends and everyone, no matter how inexperienced or uneducated would always have something new to teach the next person, everyone have different daily experiences, and some of these experiences can really reveal so much, and it takes only one who’s willing to learn to actually learn, but anyone who has pride or thinks they know it can never calm down to learn, especially from someone they’ve passed in experience.

Anyone who always want to improve themselves will always do better not just on this forum but anywhere online, you are going to break rules and do some things people won't like on here as a newbie.

And there is this part that i liked about the forum, they always correct you before they punish you, because let's be real, a newbie will behave like one, spam for a while, use AI and others, but once you are corrected and adjust then you are in good hands.

I thank the forum moderators for handling things this way, if not? I don't think that many newbies including myself will survive long on this forum, learn from mistakes and adjust from there, be opened to getting better.

Even old members can still learn new things through reading pinned posts.
I’m very sure that there are people who have been in this forum for one year or two years and they have not gone through the rules of this forum talk more of going through all the pin post in the board they usually post.
A lot of people usually find it very difficult to read, especially when the write up is very long.

I try as much as possible to read the pin post in every board I visit always because I believe it contains very useful information that will guide me.

The forum is broad and we keep on learning new things every day of our lives. We do not complain when we're at faults or get scolded, we just lean on ourselves and make proper decisions that will better our lives in the space and getting acquainted with the new basis which in turns will helped us. We take corrections when needed and be able to practice what we've learnt in this space, and on the records, we do not banter words with anyone, we just keep mute and do what we're suppose to do.

Moderators point out the areas more like giving terms and conditions of this forum, we will be able to do somethings and also avoid some things depending on the rules exerted in place. Newbies will definitely find it disturbing at first but as time goes on, they get acquainted and start making good moves in the forum and they handle it so well.

Yes, I agree with you. I myself used to think that at one time and if someone asked me to study, I would tell them that I know everything, I don't have to study, but in the exam paper, I would get the lowest marks from everyone. So the person who says that I know everything or can do it, really doesn't know anything. With time, we are getting acquainted with new things and are learning, so if we keep talking about the same things, then surely we will never be able to gain knowledge or we will get the lowest marks from everyone like me.

One thing that is seen in adults is arrogance, when a younger person points out any mistake of an older person, they do not agree with the comments of the younger person and they remain firm in their own comments and think that what they are doing is right. So every person has to get themselves out of this kind of humanity.

Well even when I started in the forum is most of the thing I did is to check the pinned post in every thread because there is a reason why they put it in of course, and through out in the community is I just keep lurking into different board, seeking which board is most likely I have a vibes with other users and also I do often visit the meta board if ever I wanted to check some features implemented of other users to help you to navigate into our forum. Through out your journey you will learn more so  for newbies dont overhelm yourselves.

‎
‎I will encourage those that are new in this forum to always visit the meta and reputation board, some cases over there will help you know what you should do or not do in this forum
‎This advice is not for beginners alone even some older members in this forum, because I believe some older members still don’t know all the rules.
‎
‎Lastly try to read the pinned posts in every board you visit

Rules and regulations are very important to be observed and carried out in any settings, so that you don't fall preys to them and be penalizes for it but alot of persons often forget that aspect of it which in turn they learn it in a hard way.

Being a newbie most times it is always funny to begin with, one has to trend with caution, read and ask questions in the forum and not rush into alot of thing without finding out and having knowledge about what you are about to do and what you want because most newbies are easily identified which makes them prone to attacks in the crypto space .

Don't rush even if you feel not understanding, take your time and always read again for proper understanding and clarification that is what helping me understand Bitcoin and the crypto space better.

Every time that we log into the forum,we learn something from people quality posts.  We learn everyday in our lives, there's no day that passes that we don't grasp new knowledge about bitcoin or gain thoughtful wisdom from others experience that are been shared. Even the most educated people don't know it all, even though they know alot that we don't know, they could still make mistakes and still be corrected. Everyone can be corrected when they are wrong, sometimes, pride may not let them admit it in your presence but it doesn't mean they weren't wrong. Being an experience member of the forum doesn't mean a newbie can't correct you when you're doing something wrong or going contrary to the Forum rules.
