Sent less than minimum deposit to my casino, can it be refunded or topped up?

I had a bad experience while funding my casino account. I had a little discretionary funds and decided to double the amount by  gambling without excitation, I copied the address on the casino to fund my account and which I funded.

I noticed after a while that the funds have not been funded to my account. I complained to the customer service and was told that the amount sent was less than the minimum amount ought to have been deposited.

What can be done for the funds to be reversed? Can the funds be top up to complete the minimum deposit or Is the funds deposited lost? Or will it be reserved?

Casinos normally use third party payment gateways but there are some restrictions in that case if you do not deposit a minimum amount then it will not be credited. In this case they write down the minimum amount you can deposit in the deposit option. There it is written in detail what will happen if you deposit less than the minimum amount. Normally when you send funds less than the minimum requirement, it will be lost. However, you should read their terms and conditions carefully to see what steps they have promised to take in this regard. If they mention there that you will refund the money then of course you will get the refund and if it is not mentioned then you will lose it. Because once a transaction is completed in crypto, it is not possible to get it back.

I doubt the funds is lost. The casino platform has to either request a top up or they can try to request an address for a refund. If they don't do this, it is theft to me and such a platform should get a negative review or should be reported via the appropriate channels.

A newbie can make a mistake that can easily be forgiven, but when it is an old user then there can be penalties for contravene of the TOS or be forgiven too just to satisfy the customer and make them more committed to using the platform for longer as a better preference than others.

I am not saying for sure that he will not get his money back. The amount less than the minimum deposit amount is very insignificant so if possible then they will definitely return that money because they will not ruin their reputation for such an amount of money. Newbies can certainly make mistakes but if they make a mistake that there is no chance to correct then they will have to take responsibility for it themselves.
If he contacts customer support, he hopes to get his money back, but I have seen that various crypto exchanges put a warning in the minimum deposit that if you deposit less than the minimum deposit amount, it will not be credited or refund. And casino platforms also give such warnings, but if they have the opportunity, they can definitely refund it, I don't disagree with that. I can't say for sure because I haven't had this kind of experience before.

I remember doing this years ago because I sent less then 0.1 Bitcoin and that was a tiny amount back then, seems unfair of course.   Same for withdrawal, they refused to let me have my little bits of Bitcoin back though today it'd be worth thousands of dollars.
    Try to argue with them it was an honest mistake and that BTC has no fixed price that would determine reasonable worthlessness in the long term.   The casino itself should be helping you imo or at least addressing your concerns, maybe they give tokens on the next deposit or something effortless like that.

If the casino do not give you any better feedback then you should know that your funds are missing and there is not that could be done to recover it back. Most times their Terms of Service speak it all and if it wasn't contradicting their terms then there could be possible means to restore it back.
But I must say, they may not get you back what you have deposited if you do not reach their minimal deposit amount.
Always use a reliable casinos so that when such issues occurs they could help you to restore it back than them having to tell you that there is nothing that can be done.

Depositing below the minimum still doesn’t have anything to do with your funds not reflecting on the casino site, I don’t know how this works with minimum deposit because I have not been in any kind of situation related to such but, the simplest way to get a respond is by communicating with the support team or you already did and didn’t get the right answers. Clearly if the funds is not reflecting on the site and you didn’t get your refund back in your wallet definitely the casino is responsible which is totally understandable, for a fact nothing is certain though I have a doubt maybe sending the minimum amount will still not bring your first funds back.

I've seen a similar complaint from a casino thread before and they resolved it by crediting his deposit. If it didn't show up, then you should've followed up by opening another ticket because, from a casino's perspective, you're a potential customer and crediting a small deposit might go a long way for them.

The live support experience in some casinos is hit or miss, so you always have to keep messaging until someone gives you a clear answer.

Why not ask their customer support? You already reached out to them, and now that you know the problem, you can inquire if the funds can be refunded.  Or you can also inquire if you added a deposit, and if it can accumulate to meet the minimum amount for your deposit to be credited.

We cannot have an assumption here, all you need is to reach out to the customer support and verify or inquire about those things in your mind.

We can say our opinion, but at the end of the day, the actual decision is on the platform so instead of asking unfounded opinions about the possible action to take, why not go directly to the customer support and ask your inquiries.

Based on what support told you, it looks like you’ve lost that money. Also, I’d like to echo ArabBTC’s question. How much money are we talking about?

I'd also love to read a reply from @Ummeettaa on this. Imo, Op seems to have one problem and it's their inability to either read discreetly, or decipher an idea through written text. Just like they haven't responded to this thread and it's already on 6 pages and loading, that's how they ignored the T/Cs of the casino--- there's no way they can deny this wasn't part of their conditions. Every casino has a minimum deposit and maximum withdrawal limits.

Policy on below minimum crypto deposit varies greatly from casino to casino. Some operator explicitly state that deposit below minimum will not be credited or refunded. Sometime support may try to manually recover or credit them.

For example Bitcasino’s term state that deposit below minimum will not be credited to account or returned to source.

I remember when I made this same mistake, though not on a casino, but in an exchange, and that was the end of that money, I never saw it again, even when I made subsequent deposits. I just took it that there wasn’t any provisions made to help customers who encounter such problems, and I accepted my fate. Some casinos are like that, and should you find yourself in such situations, first thing I’ll advise is to forget about it, even if you continued trying to get it back, because in the end, it could end up being some fruitless efforts.

Surely, we can't just guess how the casino would decide your case. Since you already communicated with their customer service, didn't you ask him/her the same question? Did you not ask him/her whether it's possible to have it credited to your balance, and if it is what you need to do?

The customer representative might have said that since the minimum deposit amount was not reached, the money the OP sent has been lost. This will probably be their typical response to anyone stuck in this type of situation. They will simply state that users need to read the casino’s terms and conditions, where it will be mentioned that there is a minimum deposit amount for different coins.

The OP didnt send the minimum required amount so they will consider the money to be gone. From what I understand this is the reason the OP created this thread.

I think OP, you cant do much about it now. The amount is so low that the casino probably wont care about it and unfortunately, you wont be able to get a refund either.
