The market seems to be supported at $77,000 while being resisted at $82,000, which shows that either side could be a major breaking point depending on the market performance for September. If we could experience more buying, then one is definitely going to go against the other, as it may present to us more bullishness, or we may experience a further fall. But with the way I'm seeing the market, everything can be pointing towards a bullish attempt for this month, and it may be coming towards the middle or end of the month.

That would nice.  But wtf is going on rn?  I haven't checked the market for a few hours as I had some irl stuff to do but when I came back home and checked the market, BTC is at... 76.5k..?

I thought it would be sitting comfortably between 78k and 80k.  Did something happen?  Like some event the market is reacting to or is it still unknown?

yeah, there is. the august PPI was just released and came in higher than expected. the market is now pricing in a 70% chance of a Fed rate hike on september 16, up from 60% yesterday. 

at the same time, the 10 year US treasury yield has risen above 4.9%, the highest level since 2023. Bitcoin, stock and gold are all down, and i wouldn't be surprised to see more corrections tomorrow when the CPI is released.

I'm voting Maybe because the August rally has re done the risk/reward equation but I don't believe that sentiment should play as much of a role as price. When you've had a run of nearly 25% monthly gains. It is very easy for the people to become bullish just because the chart looks good. The interesting part is what will happen if BTC starts to pull back and those new buyers are challenged. If there is no reversal to be found on the market that would tell us more about the quality of the trend than another green candle would. As of now I'm more interested in what I see happen with BTC once all the hype is gone.

It would be valid but irritating to find out we can decline during a non bear market, its perfectly fair for that to occur and certain days will look pretty red on the chart yet BTC overall isnt especially negative & so far that seems to be the case.
  Dollar rose back recently I noticed but Im certainly not bullish on the dollar despite many predicting a FED rate rise hence a sell on BTC is quite normal I figure.  Dollar today for example peaked and found a new high for the day just before plunging and finding a new low for the day, so erratic behavior and quite easily alot of doubts for Dollar remain which has become normal.

I choose no. I don't think we've come out of the bear market. Even though Bitcoin's price has tended to go up recently, that doesn't indicate that the market has entered a new bull cycle – short-term bullish moves can still occur during a bearish trend. So we need to see more confirmation before assuming that the bearish trend is over. Especially considering the possibility that we might face another correction before the market really shows signs of a bullish trend. Until that happens, I don't think we should be too confident that the bearish trend is over.

By now it's clear that we are not out of the bear's claw, we have a price correction again, after seeing a $80k price which everyone thinks will continue to go up to $85. But bears are resilient and now with some bad news regarding the PPI, so there is a chance of rate hike later next week.

It's a bad indication and speculators will take that as a negative news. Although $75k looks strong, not sure how long it will hold when the FED announcement later is what we are expecting. On the other hand if the price goes below $75k, then another good opportunity to buy some.

For me, the $77k level is crucial. I think that after it surpasses $81k, it will go straight to $85k. The market is largely driven by emotions and feelings, so it's only a matter of time before people see the price of BTC skyrocketing and start buying.

At the same time, we must be prepared in case the market drops. BTC could suffer another fall, so we should stay vigilant and save some money in case we need to buy gradually during dips to acquire more BTC. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

I've been pretty pessimistic all year, and I wouldn't be surprised if the price were to turn around at some point and we were to see new lows for the year. Therefore, I'd say that in September, the price clearly won't go above $80,000, but I hope I'm wrong.

For me, the $77k level is crucial. I think that after it surpasses $81k, it will go straight to $85k. The market is largely driven by emotions and feelings, so it's only a matter of time before people see the price of BTC skyrocketing and start buying.

In my view, if it breaks above $81,000, the next major resistance level will be around $100,000, and I think it will start at $95,000, which was this year's high.

So it really feels like everybody was happy about the last minute rally in BTC so I changed the poll into a simpler one since copying the one from August and July won't really suit the current market condition.

And again...  The poll isn't about getting it right.  It's how you honestly feel rn.

Everyone felt quite encouraged about the market after seeing Bitcoin's price surge by 25% in August; it experienced rapid gains within a short period and secured a strong market position. Although Bitcoin is not performing particularly well so far in September, a significant market crash seems unlikely. Given its current price level, there is a possibility that Bitcoin could see even greater gains this week than it did last month. If the market forms a green candle this week, I believe there is a strong chance it could touch the $85,000 mark. While predicting the future with certainty is impossible, market trends suggest this outcome. Regardless, we hope the Bitcoin market will close the month at a favorable price level that meets our expectations.

Here's the poll thus far...  6 for yes, 14 for no and 9 for maybe.  I think 'maybe' sounds like they hope it's te end of the bear market but in their mind they know it could go back down anytime.  Like the price action we're seeing right now.  Lolol.  You just know it's coming.

Since Bitcoin failed to break through the $81K resistant price range, we should anticipate more price declines until the final or second-to-last month of the Q4 market. Therefore, I believe the September different from the August market as you said but I expect the market to be a mix of uptrend and downtrend, but the downtrend will be the market's main trend.

Thanks for the info ... People are looking at 76k for DCA BUY ZONE strategy. This level have already made 3 successive high and a new low some days ago. Everyone is checking... Bullish or Bearish trends all depends on price action. Right now as it stands on lower low, we all hope 76k support holds firm as it did since last month. The odds can change at any moment such as the outcome of some days ago. 22% is just a number and volatility can override it in a blink of an eye.

Maybe, because I see a chance this is indeed the start of the bull market. But most likely it isn't.
And there is no reason to believe otherwise except hope and some indicators that imho aren't strong enough for a clear trend. Let's just enjoy the relative stability we have seen recently and see where the Bitcoin ride takes us.

Even though Bitcoin rose 25 percent in August, we don't see Bitcoin reaching much higher levels in September. However, the way the market is going, it seems that the market will not be in a very bullish trend in September. However, from my perspective, based on my assumptions, I can say that Bitcoin may end in a red candle in September and the market may resume its upward trend in October.
