Well these platforms normally know what they are doing when it comes to KYC verification. To me i think they intentionally make the time for the verification to be long so that those folks who can't wait will just end up gambling back their wins, and who knows you might end up losing the wins before they even confirm the verification . still they probably have other motives in doing stuff like this...to me it is perhaps wise that the first thing to do when you want to gamble on a new platform is to confirm the verification process before you deposit any money, and if what the support is saying doesn't meet your expectations then you can consider going to another platformm or take the risk in later verification. Yes thats my point as well i discuss this alot of time here with seniors that if a person losses 100k in online casino there is no need for a KYC but if someone won a 100k then they remember there terms and conditions and kyc and other stuff and honestly because of this kyc it helps the casino in delay there payments or to stop there payments to someone who won the money because sometimes a person doesn't want there kyc or sometimes peoples don't have enough  documents for kyc which will give benefits to the casino owners in stopping there payments.

I don't recall having this experience with any casino and I don't also think that I have come across anything like this before. Casinos would only demand for KYC when a huge amount is involved and that could be seen as a risk control measure, but you should not see it as an intentional act to rip users off their money.

Some casinos do not request for KYC firsthand because it scares new users away, as it looks like a breach of privacy because some people love to remain anonymous. But with the event of a KYC request during a huge sum withdrawal, it is normal for users to raise suspicions.

Casinos don't actually restricts from people passing kyc before gambling, to me what I noticed is that most gamblers are too desperate to gamble where they wouldn't read the terms of the casino before they went ahead make deposit.
Currently as I am right away, I don't just go make deposit on gambling site without me checking to know if that gambling site do require kyc before someone could make withdrawal, and if they require kyc I don't mind doing that before I go make deposit because I know that whatever that makes me deposit on that gambling site they wouldn't allow me to freely pass my verification not talk about me winning a substantial amount from the gambling site. For me, most problems are from gamblers as they don't read before jumping into using gambling platform.

As some members already answered, we can pass KYC right after registration... but if we are honest, many of us don't really like KYC, for all sorts of reasons.

KYC will always be a hot topic... People want licenses & regulations, but that leads to stricter rules for us players. Many casinos advertise like "no KYC", but in reality all of them have some rules about it, and the most interesting part is they can ask us for verification whenever they want, for any reason they think of...

In any case, if some player thinks he can't pass KYC for any reason, he should avoid that place. I don't like to read the ToS, but I do it anyway for safety, or I ask support if I am confused about something. After all, it's your money at stake, so do some research before you deposit & start playing. Good luck.

It makes sense for a casino to not ask for KYC before they allow you to play, in a way it's like they are trying to win your trust and I'm saying this because I don't think any casino will make it impossible for you to verify your identity before you start gambling with them, you just have to want to do it first.

That’s what some people don’t understand. They think they are already safe once they pass KYC, but if there are certain triggers, the casino can still ask for verification again.

I haven’t personally been asked by a casino to do KYC twice, but it happened to me with our local exchange. It’s like every year they want to update the KYC information. So I think the same can also happen with casinos, especially since both are regulated.

If we are to be sincere with ourselves, the only reason casinos are doing this is because they want to stop people from withdrawing their money, because tell me how on Earth are you saying your casino is NO KYC and when the person win huge amount of money you are bringing in KYC if not to stop the person from withdrawing.

That is where the problem is always coming. I have said this before. The way centralized exchanges do, let casinos also apply that method to bypass gamblers s there will be no problem.
